What she wore - Plain Jane

A easy, throw it together in a minute outfit with heels. My wardrobe staples - well tailored pencil skirts, plain tops that will match with everything, waist belts and some super cute mary janes. Nothing spectacular just an easy outfit that shows off my shape and fits well.

This outfit I've worn off and on for the last 2 years (though the tops always change) The skirt is from Target, shoes from Table Eight and the top a great ribbed 3/4 sleeve number from Jay Jays. Jay Jays have some really good simple pieces that go up to a size XXL. I'm wearing an XL and its really roomy.

I'm so very in love with Torrid's pencil skirts at the moment, hip hugging and in plaid - oh my!

In other news I will be doing runway for Te Kiero Boutique on Wednesday which shall be fantastic. I have lots of shoots coming up so expect some more what she wore type blogs in the next two weeks.

Also coming up in the next month I will be holding a competition so keep your eyes open for an announcement and get ready to promote this blog like crazy!

The Aviator

Is anyone else madly in love with the Flight and Aviator fashions coming out for Fall/Autumn?

Even though I absolutely love black leather and darker shades I have to admit that I'm dying to get my hands on a few items.

So what will be available for girls in my size? Evans have to amazing jackets that will appear on the website in the coming months. They have a detailed blog on these jackets and other looks here.

Even though it will be warming up in Melbourne but that time I'm still getting one of these for when the weather cools down. We all know that the weather down here can be perfect one day and evil the next!

If you want to get your hands on something like this a little sooner I just found these jackets on New Look.

Waterfall Faux Fur Jacket £29.99

Now i have to hunt for goggles, white scarves and some fantastic hats with ear flaps.

Pretty Preppy

I have a mad love for cardigans and recently I've been lusting after preppy style jackets and cardigans. So I have been searching far and wide for some really cute and basic preppy knits but I've had no luck finding great styles for women. Faith21 briefly had one style up online but as per usual it sold out instantly.

Then while was surfing on New Look I found two styles in the male section that would be perfect for the looks I'm after. I've never had a problem wearing men's cardigans and these are too cute to ignore. I will buy a medium in the males section as my waist and bust measurements are very close.

So I've put together two looks which are all available on New Look, this is how I would wear these preppy cardigans. One look going with basic black and my usual staple, the pencil skirt and the other a more playful, cute outfit. The sizing ranges from a UK 6 to 18 and there is also a plus size range that goes from 18 to 24 called Inspire (they both have different size charts).

Now which shall I buy?

Black is Back

Black is the biggest part of my wardrobe and I have to say its also my favorite colour(or shade to some people). I don't wear black to cover up or hide any parts of my body I just love the way it looks. Everyone needs great black pieces in my wardrobe, they can be mixed up or down and match with every colour.

Carmakoma has won me over with their recent fall range and I think I will be going into debt soon enough due to these amazing pieces. How amazing are the models! Click here to see the online Autumn/Winter Lookbook.

Firstly I adore this whole outfit! From the detail on the hip hugging Agyness Skirt to the flowing Van Gogh blouse paired with the oh so cure spotted stockings! I need to own this!

The Galliano Blazer-Dress can either be worn as a long jacket or if your have amazing pins as a dress. I'd wear it both ways! Loving the big button detail and the round neckline and collar.

A perfect jersey dress - the Moss Dress. I'm loving deep neckline and the detail on the shoulders. In this shot they have teamed it up with a pair of jeans which I would have never thought to do. Wear it like this, wear it with tights, wear fantastic pumps or great leather boots. So many options with this dress.

The as seen in the image above we have the Roberto Pants. Studs, zips and a skinny leg these jeans will match everything. Even when viewing the online store you see that they really do match with every dress or top. They also come in plain black without studs found here.

Also check out the sale section while you are there these two dresses are so deelish!

Bad Girl

I just wanted to share these images that I shot last week with my friend and owner of the most amazing 57 Caddy Paul V.

This dress was the item I reviewed from Pin up Boudoir and I think it matched the theme so perfectly! I hope you love them as much as I do.

To find this dress please visit Pin Up Boudoir or to purchase this dress either with stripe print on the top half or plain red please go to Pinup Girl Clothing shown bellow.

When I posted the first image on Pinup Girl Clothing's wall people started to ask if i was wearing a corset. This is not the case, I don't wear them under thigh fitting garments as the line they show annoys me. I wear spanx like high waisted, suck every thing in underwear that i got from Target.

Though underwear or no underwear the shape i create in photos comes down to posing correctly. Whether it is an elongating or a curve emphasizing pose its all putting your body in shapes and positions to show off the best parts.

Many girls commented on my photo and asked if i could write something to help them pose right in images. So this week I am going to start working on that.

Now go check out both websites for heaps of stunning dresses and show of your curves!

Update

I feel so behind with my images, I would love to post multiple times per week but my camera really lets me down. Being a model I really look closely at images, I like sharp clean shots and my digi is horrible!

If i had a Digital SLR and a tripod I'd be one happy girl! So I'll start saving and maybe I will have some luck.

Though I will try to post as many 'outfit' images as possible even with the blurry, crappy camera I have.

I will be moving house for the next two days, then I will go nuts and take some shots of my new shoes (can't wait to show you guys) and some funky new threads.

I've also flown through the 50 followers mark so thank you guys so much. I will have to do giveaways and competitions in the future!
