Dinner with Him......

I've never been shy about my love for Wheels & Dollbaby. I posted a review earlier this year that featured their stunning Dita Cardigan and I've worn it non stop ever since! I have been searching high and low for great knitwear and I've found the perfect fit and amazing styles all at Wheels & Dollbaby!

Now to introduce you to the newest and equally as lush cardigan from the new Show Stoppers Summer Injection 2011 range.

'The ultimate in luxurious knitwear. Exquisite black French scalloped lace cardigan creates a dramatically chic look that works perfectly for evening as well as day. Classic champagne nude knitted front is finished with delicate black lace. this piece works perfectly for evening as well as day. Style it open over an LBD for a sophisticated look or add an edge by wearing with the leather pencil. Features washable viscose elastane knit blend. contrasting black sleeves and back panel. and full body length with stitched scallop lace upper on front.'

I'm wearing this stunning new design in a size 14 and it has the same amount of stretch as my Dita cardigan in the same size. This design also goes up to a 16 and can fit a variety of different shapes.

The soft stretch fabric molds to your curves and the scalloped lace feature gives you even more of an hour class shape almost creating an optical illusion. The lace detail is delicate, feminine and so very stunning up close.

I paired this super cute cardigan with my Audrey Skirt from Pinup Girl Clothing, my favorite waist belt and black patent pumps from Pleaser.

Then I added the most perfect little black pup to complete the look. I'd like to introduce you to my little lady Ruby. She is an English Cocker Spaniel and turned 1 last month. She has a 9 year old brother but sadly he stayed home for this shoot.

I know how much Melanie Greensmith (the designer of W&DB) adores dogs so I thought my little Ruby would be a perfect feature for this shoot.

These absolutely fantastic images were taken by the amazing Taygan Bassi, a brilliant Melbourne based Photographer. Please take the time to check out her work. I can't even begin to explain just how amazing her folio is. Thank you so much Taygan. I can't wait to work with you again in the future!

Pretty Preppy

I have a mad love for cardigans and recently I've been lusting after preppy style jackets and cardigans. So I have been searching far and wide for some really cute and basic preppy knits but I've had no luck finding great styles for women. Faith21 briefly had one style up online but as per usual it sold out instantly.

Then while was surfing on New Look I found two styles in the male section that would be perfect for the looks I'm after. I've never had a problem wearing men's cardigans and these are too cute to ignore. I will buy a medium in the males section as my waist and bust measurements are very close.

So I've put together two looks which are all available on New Look, this is how I would wear these preppy cardigans. One look going with basic black and my usual staple, the pencil skirt and the other a more playful, cute outfit. The sizing ranges from a UK 6 to 18 and there is also a plus size range that goes from 18 to 24 called Inspire (they both have different size charts).

Now which shall I buy?

Jeepers Creepers - Shade those Peepers!

Last month I was looking for the perfect pair of shades, nothing to expensive yet huge and stylish. I have a tendency to sit, break or loose nice sunglasses so i was not looking for anything over $100.

Then purely by luck I won a competition on the Fashion Journal's and got to pic a brand new pair of glasses from Jeepers Peepers.

Firstly one of my favorite songs in the world is Jeepers Creepers (click the link for the Puppini Sisters version) so i think this brand and I were a match from the beginning.

I chose the Anna style in black and they are oversized, have large molded black frames, a funky cut out design on the arms and 100% UV protection priced at $39.95.

So how do they look?

My outfit for today :

Cardigan - Barkins
Dress - Kmart
Belt - Jeans West (private sale)
Thigh High Boots - Target
