Pretty in Pink Skinnies

Now I showed you my dabble into coloured skinny jeans in this post and I now I have another pair to add to my collection which just happen to be the brightest of the bunch.

Torrid Hot Pink Skinny Jean $48.50

Bright Pink Skinny Jeans!!! I never thought that one day I'd ever own a pair of jeans in this colour but do you know what? I love them! They are such a bright vibrate pop of colour and I can match these with bright shoes, bright tanks, shirts and jackets. I might blind people with my super bright pins but it's worth it. I was that excited to show you guys I roped the boy into snapping a few shots so I could get these up asap.

I'm wearing these in a size 12 and they are a much firmer and less stretchy fabric than my other pairs of jeans from Torrid. They sit just above my hips and I have to say they are pretty perfect. They have a small amount of stretch but these are very sturdy and strong.

Now what shoes do you pair with bright pink pants?

Yellow heeled, cute/evil apple strappy heels that's what kind of shoes I pair with these jeans!

These are another pair of wide width shoes so I ordered a size down and they fit perfectly. I'm wearing these in a size 9 and I wear a size 10AU. I adore how bright the yellow is on the straps and the heel, the straps also click into the shoe so they are east to pop on and off.

The little facial expressions on the apples are adorable the green is evil, the red innocent and cute. These might be a little too much for some people but if you see my shoe collection you will understand why these fit in. These rock with my pink skinny jeans but I'd love to wear them with a little black dress and a yellow skinny belt.

So girl are you game enough to go bright this summer?

The Bangles

I bet you were thinking why is Teer wringing about that awesome 80's band? Well I surprise I'm not!

I just wanted to show you guys some very cute and stylish accessories from Torrid.

LinkPhotobucketLink
Hematite Black Gemstone Stretch Ring
- $14.50US

Black, metal and shiny - what is not to love!! This is a real statement piece and almost reminds me of a flies eye due to the shape and pattern.

I ordered the size 8/9 which turns out to be a little to big but it does fit on my middle finger. The stretch back means I should have ordered the smallest size but sadly they were sold out.

Photobucket

Black Red Hematite Disco Bangle
- $14.50US

I seem to have a theme here silver/metal, red and black. Cute bangles with a pop of bold red and black sparkle. These are by far my favorite piece out of all 3.

Did you know that Torrid make bangles for larger/wider hands? I never knew such things! My best friend told me that some plus size women find standard bangles found at Diva and other chain stores can be hard to get your hang into and get off without. So Torrid have designed a bangle with a little more room than a standard bracelet.

I have really small wrists but even getting my hands into bracelets at times can be like preforming a magic act.

Photobucket

Silver Textured Bangle Pack
- $14.50

Summer staple able to be mixed with a casual boho outfit or a little black dress and some silver statement earrings.

These though large around my wrists are comfortable and I can push them up high on my forearm if I want to wear them a little differently. I'm usually a 'cuff' girl more than a bracelet girl but I'm going to start wearing them more often I think.

Torridtastic

I change my style with my mood. Whatever my inspiration is for that day I run with it! I honestly think about clothing far to much, plan outfits a day or a week in advance. Clothing is the a great way of telling the world how you feel about yourself, your body and your life. So when I get a chance to shoot for the blog I can jump from one style to another and play dress ups.

Photobucket
Torrid Red Leopard Cardigan (sold out) - $44.50US
Torrid Black Peplum Pencil Skirt - $38.50US
Shoes and tank old items in my wardrobe.

Photobucket

Leopard print cardigan - a given for me. I have a entire section devoted to leopard in my wardrobe now and I add to it constantly. I love the vibrant red of this cardigan and how much it pops against black. I'm wearing a size 0 and it is very stretchy and comfortable. This can accommodate a size or two up if you like a snug fit.

Photobucket

Now I was dying to try out this skirt. I know some curvier girls are wary of items that make your hips more pronounced or larger but I actually love the extra ruffle on the top of this skirt. I chose to wear a black tank to make it look more like a cute little black dress. This is also a size 0 but the fabric is so stretchy it will fit a two sizes up also. I think someone with even more curves than me would rock this so much more!

Photobucket

Torrid Floral Chiffon Long Sleeve Dress (sold out) - $64.50US
Brown Braided Rope Belt (sold out) - $19.50US

Although these items are sold out you can find heaps of brown belts here and there are two brilliant new prints in this style dress. They are next on my wishlist!

Photobucket

The best summer dress I've ever owned! I never thought I could wear brown floral but this dress changed my mind. The floaty fabric is perfect for the warm summer days we are currently having and the sleeves are so pretty. This dress comes with a skinny dark brown almost plum waist belt but I prefer to wear a thicker belt with this style dress. I will have to sew a tiny stitch in the bust as my bra pops through every now and then.

Photobucket

I forgot to bring my Torrid wedges that work perfectly with this dress so I had to wear my trusty black pumps! I'm so annoyed though as these wedges are the perfect pair of shoes to wear with this dress all summer.

Lena Camel Brown Strap Wedge - $29.98US

I will show these off in a shoot in the new year but I just wanted a little about them now. I ordered a size 9 but I usually wear a 10. These are wide width so I had to size down to fit my standard width foot. They are very comfortable, great height and the colour is even better in reality. There are heaps of noticed on the ankle strap also to accommodate a variety of ankle widths.

Rock It!

Photobucket

As the year comes to an end I wanted to share my favorite pieces from Simply Be this season. These items are more suited to my readers in the northern hemisphere so I hope you guys draw some inspiration as your side or the world gets cooler.

Photobucket

Anna Scholz Stretch PU Pants (selling fast)- £60.00
Dropkick Murphy's Band Tee - Bought at a gig
Black Lace Moto Jacket - $39.50UDS
Simply Be Grey Studded Bag (sold out) - £55.00
Jeffery Campbell Fox Tick Wedges - $139.95

I must say I LOVE this BAG!!!! If Simply Be created this style in multiple colours I'd buy them all!

Photobucket

These pants are HOT! I'm so grumpy that it's summer here in Australia as I absolutely adore them. I'm wearing these in a size 14. I ordered the 16 originally but they were too loose at the back and around the crotch but the smaller size fits like a dream.

When I saw these I instantly thought Rock Chic! They are smooth, soft and have a good amount of stretch. I can't wait to style these with lots of goodies once Autumn hits!

If they are sold out of your size demand them back! Or see if any other retailers sell these awesome pants via the Anna Scholz website.

Photobucket

The black lace moto jacket which I picked up from Hot Topic is my new summer staple. Being a lace fabric it is great for the sometimes chilly nights we have in Melbourne at the start of summer.

As you can see I've also added a new pair of Jeffery Campbell's to my collection. The black Foxy Tick are amazing! I followed the reviews via website and ordered these a size down due to the width. I'm wear a size 9 and I have a narrow/normal sized 10 foot. If you have a wider foot stick with your usual size.

Photobucket

Bespoke Princes Belted Mac - £35.00

For the colder months you can never have too many trenchcoats/mac's. So why not have a printed Mac? I will wear this all winter with every black item I have in my wardrobe and maybe a little pop of colour here and there.

Photobucket

I'm wearing this coat in the 16 and its still roomy enough to accommodate for lots of layer underneath. It comes with a fabric belt in the same print but also looks great with all of my black waist belts.

These shots were taken by the amazing Michelle Grace Hunder Photography. It's such a pleasure to work with Michelle we always have so much fun and breeze through each shoot. Michelle is a great local photographer based in Melbourne so ad her via facebook and book her asap!

Torrid Skinnies

If there is one thing I'm 100% certain of it is that I love skinny jeans from Torrid. They fit curves perfectly, come heaps of different colours and leg lengths and really seem to be the perfect jeans for me. So whenever I get the chance to get a new pair or jeans I don't think of any other company but Torrid.

Right now as I've mentioned I'm on a little bit of a colour kick, so I've decided to pack my black Tripp jeans away most of the week and try out my two new favorite colours. I gave into some deep red skinnies and a dark purple shade that nearly borders on navy.

Photobucket

Jester Red Skinny Jean -$48.50US

I'm wearing these in a size 12 and they are a perfect fit. The waist sits rather mid rise so you have no unwanted underwear showing when you sit and I rarely have to pull them up.

Photobucket

I adore this colour so much they go with absolutely everything in my wardrobe. I dress them up or down but always with high heels!

My step father was cleaning his bike when I was shooting so I though hey lets put something shinny in the background.

T.U.K. - Black And Turquoise Leopard T-Strap Leather Heels (Medium Width) - $110.00US

Possibly the funkiest shoes in my closet right now! T.U.K I find are always spot on for size in this style. They are cute, comfy and stand out ! The 5" heel with 1" platform is easy to wear, I find these really comfortable. My favorite feature other than the bright blue leopard print is the adorable heart on the inner heel. These shoes as all items in this blog can be purchased for Torrid and they also come in gold! The medium width means that they are a standard width apposed to the wide style shoes that are available via website.

Photobucket

Source of Wisdom - Purple Virtual Stretch London Skinny Jean - $48.50
Shoes - Wittner

I did not notice these were pull on jeans until they arrived but it does not stop me form loving them. I'm usually not a fan of pull on/jeggings but these other than lacking in a zip have pockets, buttons and all the trimmings. The colour is dark purple almost navy blue and they sit a little lower than the red pair. I would love to get these in any other colours in the future. These are a size 0 and fit me like a second skin as you can see.

I do love how these fit around the calf/ankle more than the red pair. When I wear skinnies I like them to be skinny all the way down.

Next on my Torrid Jeans Wishlist:

Torrid Denim - Cobalt Blue Skinny Jeans
- $48.50US

As you can see I want to go bigger and brighter with my next pair of jeans! I love the though of clashing colours with shoes while wearing this jeans. I'd wear cobalt blue with the pink skinnies and a bright orange pump with the blue pair!

Thank you to Michael Alesich from Lucky and Rice for coming over and snapping these shots for me! Click on the link above and check out the Lucky and Rice for more work.
