A little more Tutti!

While I'm still working my day job 5 days a week I'm very focused on spending my weekends safely settled inside. While loungewear and PJ's are my go to most weekends, there is a need for some amazing little body suits as well.

I've hit the jackpot recently with Tutti Rouge as they make the most amazing bodysuits perfectly designed for curves and big busts. Why does lounging about your home need to be boring? With these piece you can be comfortable and super sexy without any effort.

I had seen this piece on a few of my favourite curvy lingerie bloggers and wanted to see if my body could look anywhere as fab in this super strappy style.

Currently, I seem to have a slight obsession with intricately strappy designs and this piece is both super strappy and super sexy. I was silly enough to not look at the back of this product prior to ordering but to my surprise the strappy back is stunning.

I'm wearing this bodysuit in a size XL, and I find the fit very true to size. The bra closer as the back is attached to super stretchy elastic so it really fits perfectly without digging in or making any bad back rolls.

The bust is not wired but I find that the support given is great. This might also be a great alternative to a standard bra when I wear certain plunge necklines.

More lace and net  - Gimme! Gimme! Another super soft and stretchy bodysuit but this style focuses more on a full mesh body and lace trimming.

Now as you can see from the bust in each bodysuit it's all about natural comfort. Being wire free yet supported by the straps and back closures really does add to the lounge/comfort factor of each piece.

I'm wearing this piece in an XL as well, and the fit is amazing. Soft and super stretchy so you'll not have anything digging into you or any uncomfortable straps. The navy blue shade is also completely new for me but I'm loving this shade with my complexation and hair colour and pairs perfectly with my Peter Alexander robe from many, many moons ago.

EZ T Bra in Mink - £20. 00

The new EZ T Bra is a fantastic style that has been created for everyday wear. Gone are the days when you were dying to get your boobie prison off at the end of a hard day. Brands like Tutti Rouge are creating pieces for us to actually enjoy wearing.

Now to find my sister size I actually trusted the brains at TR and my 36HH turned out to be equivalent to a 40G. This size with the very large back is not as firm the comfort level is sky high. IT gives a super round and high shape which looks amazing in most tops and dresses. I'm actually wearing this right now and it's pure magic. A wired bra that does not dig or make you feel like you want to take it off ASAP.

I'm wearing this on the tightest hook, and I'm so comfy, uplifted and just feeling fab. The fabric is silky soft as well so it's a joy to wear. I'm that smitten with this piece I'll need to order one in black and maybe another colour soon as I'll wear these on rotation all week long.

*Update* It seems that the lift and shape of this piece get lots of attention while merely walking down the streets. This is a mighty powerful piece!

Capriosca Swimwear Fit Guide 2019

Spring is finally heating up and it's time for another swimwear review! I'm trying to cover as many curve/plus friendly swimwear labels as possible so you can confidently shop online. This week I've been lucky enough to wiggle my body into three amazing looks from Capriosca Swimwear and I'm going to be super brave with this post as I'm wearing two bikinis that actually show my waist! It's been  many moons since I've worn a tie side bottom but I feel that it suits the suit so much for this review.

With such a large bust, I'm always looking for tops that both fit and support without having to much fuss. There is nothing worse that a visibly small cup or odd looking big of boob popping out of a swim top/suit so fit is by far the most important thing on my summer check list.

That's where purchasing separates instead of a bikini set is the best way to perfect fit! You can find the right top and bottom that fit your specific measurement and body shape.

I'm in lust with the Navy and White Dots Wrap Top as what's better than a wrap for busty girls like myself? The fit is PERFECTION with lots of support, and the piece is effortless to wear. I'm wearing this to in a size 20 due to lack of 18s in stock but I find this size up works great for my bust.

Now let's chat bottoms. I can't honestly remember the last time I wore a bikini but I'm forever rocking around my apartment in my knickers so why not bring that comfort and casual vibe to the beach? The Tie Side Swim Pant is the perfect piece to pair with the matching wrap top.

They combine to create a super cute and sexy two piece set that gives you support and a little more coverage on the upper body and then show off your curves on the bottom. I'm wearing this piece in a size 18 and it fit is comfy and super adjustable. You can also find a high waisted matching bottom for this suit via the website.

I've been dreaming of owning a ruffled up off the shoulder swimsuit piece for so many years and now I have what might be the cutest little top ever. Covered in a vintage paisley blue based print this piece is effortlessly chic.

The perfect pinup bikini set with ample bust room and lift! What I love most about this piece is that you can easily jump from the pool (once dry of course.) and pair this with a wiggle or swing skirt, heels and a clutch and you have a perfect outfit for the evening!

This piece can be worn fully off the shoulders or in a standard bra strap fit but I personally love the shoulder bearing style. I'm in an 18, and the fit is amazing. I'm 100% secure and comfortable.

I've paired this adorable top with the tie side bottoms as I'm loving the fit and comfort level. You can snap up a high waisted matching bottom for this via the webstore.

Now obviously I could not shoot a review without trying a one piece as well, and the three Tiered style was high on my lust list. The ruffled design created lots of movement and shape while camouflaging at mid section issues you might have.

The Rust shade is absolutely amazing, and I love it to pair with my hair colour! It's a deep orange which pairs perfectly with my amazing black Killstar kimono

I'm wearing an 18 in this piece, and the fit is great with adjustable straps and such a supersoft fabric. I'm loving how forgiving and comfortable this piece is and I'll be putting a classic black version on my lust list.

Artesands - Swimwear for Curves

As the weather warms up it's time to start shopping for the best swimwear to suit my curves and ample bust! Over the next few weeks I'll be reviewing and sharing my absolute favourite swimwear options from both Australian based stores and a few international websites.

While I love my shape, I find that most bikinis don't tend to suit my bust so I'll mainly be focusing on one-piece swimsuits. If you have discovered an amazing super flattering bikini that might suit me please send me a link as I'd love to try it!

This year I've discovered Artesands via Instagram as I love the models they use and their very realistic portrait of plus size women, it's such a breath of fresh air to stumble across a company like this.

Artesands is a brand that is 110% behind the design of perfectly fitting swimsuits for your curves. Fitted on ‘true to size’ curvy women, not fashion models, you will notice this difference when you see different shaped, curvy women trying on our styles. We are the brand that is ahead of the curve when it comes to loving your curves!

With this focus and such a strong design team behind the brand they really do create amazing swimwear.

From the moment I tried this suit on my mind was blown. Never did I think it was possible to get this much epic boob lift and shape in a swimsuit.

So what are the details :

  • Suitable for cup sizes D/DD
  • Internal foam cups and underwires for bust support
  • Gathering through the waist
  • Full body powermesh lining for body contouring and shape forming
  • Adjustable, wide shoulder straps for extra comfort and support
  • Luxurious soft touch, high stretch swim fabric
  • Back clip, front peephole with faux knot styling

  •

Now I'm a 36H or 36HH and I have no fit issues at all with this piece so don't worry if you are larger that an DD. The gathered waist and lining holds you in and really makes those curves pop and the addition of the peephole creates even more shape.

I'm wearing a size 18 in both pieces featured in this post and they are super comfortable, soft yet firm enough to make you feel fantastic and held in. The fabric is comfortable and as their is not halter neck and a good sized strap you don't have to worry about your shoulders aching - my biggest swimwear issue it seems.

The comfort of this fabric is out of this world and I think I'll be using this piece both for swimming and as a bodysuit during the summer. I'm obsessed with this piece and need it in every colour and print!

Next is a more traditional style one piece but with a little twist feature at the bust. The Rococo Botticelli one-piece features :

  • Multifit cups – suitable for sizes C-DD
  • Wide neckline
  • Internal full shelf bra with supportive soft foam cups and underbust band
  • Front twist detail at bust
  • Side rouched panels and gathering through the waist
  • Full body powermesh lining for body contouring and shape forming
  • Adjustable, wide shoulder straps for extra comfort and support
  • Luxurious soft touch, high stretch swim fabric

  •

What's different about this suit from the previous style? Well other than the wider neckline, lack of peephole and twist detail the bust fit is slightly more relaxed. The shelf style bra and foam cups add lift and support but not that epic boobie height of the previous piece.

So between the two it's all about your personal boobie support and lift comfort level and I'm very much all about the Cezanne suit as it just seems more like my style and vibe. The polka dots on both fabrics are super cute and very pinup so I can't wait to create more looks with each of these suits over
    the summer.

Keep an eye out for more swimwear reviews over the next few weeks!

Roses, spiders and lovebirds - oh my!

Earlier this week we packed the car full of clothing, shoes and a Liz (photographer) and headed to my favourite location to shoot and play.

With a varied collection of new Hell Bunny Stock I wanted to share the stunning new styles in the on the streets of Melbourne. From florals to unexpected colours, some things spooky and some that you'd never expect! This post is very photo filled and detailed so be sure to get your self a cuppa and settle in a little while.

For years I've been a huge fan of braces skirts but I've never been game enough to rock a Pini. I don't know if it's a throwback to my primary school years where I was wearing one paired with a blue skivvy each day, or if it's the chest to fabric ratio.

But as soon as Hell Bunny released the Dakota Pinafore Dress in their new denim range I gave in and ordered. All my fears were put to rest as soon as I tried this adorable denim number on as it's so figure flattering as the design works perfectly with your curves.

The skirt cinches in at the waist and then flares over the hips. The bib or front has just the right amount for fabric to sit perfectly on my torso and pair so cutely with tops of every shade and print. This is a funky grown up pinafore and I love it. I'm wearing the 2XL in HB's denim range and it's super stretchy so it will really mold to your curves and will be comfortable all day love.

From the release of the Black, Red and Pink versions of this cardigan last year I've been hunting high and low for one and luckily I snapped one up finally in green. For spider or web styles I usually stick with the classic black and white but as a redhead I could not say no to this stunning emerald shade of green.

The fabric amazing and the details - perfection! Super soft, stretchy and really a joy to wear but I strongly advise you to size down. I'm wearing the 2XL and I'm usually an XL in knitwear. The stretch and fabric mean you can easily size down and I found the arms to be super long in the 2XL.

The bright emerald shade really pairs perfectly with my skin tone and I can't wait to style this all winter!

Next the dress that I broke my blog photoshoot rule for again and again! I try not to wear garments I've not shot for my blog yet just incase I rip or ruin the fabric as I'm a complete cluts. But after falling in love with the Strawberry Sunday dress last year I knew that I'd be 100% in love with the same style in a Love Bird print.

The Love Bird Mini is perfection! It's the kind of dress you feel amazing in as it really shows off your curves and flatters your shape. The gypsy/peasant style bust means it can accommodate any bust size and looks amazing if your rather busty like me. The sleeves can be worn up or down and when paired with a cardigan the look is even cuter.

I think some improvements have been made on this style as I've compared both this season. It seems to be a little less roomy under the bust (I could stretch my strawberry version out to fit another half a person) and the sleeves a little less puffy. The length is perfection as it's no a token 'Mini' it hits my knees and there are no issues like I'd usually have with a mini style. It's almost bordering on a Midi style. I'm wearing the 2XL and I just adore the fit and fabric.

The name of the dress gives you a giant hint to what the print might be as it's covered with kissing birds, polka dots and hearts. So sweet and so very cute! I'm so excited my favourite style has been released in this print and I can't wait to see what else Hell Bunny create in this shape for the future.

    Evenora Dress -  £43.99

Now for something a little more gothic. Now this dress was one I loved initially but I had no idea how well it would work on me until the moment it arrived. A stunning flowing little witchy number that makes any hour glass shape POP!

Full of chiffon, ruffles and long flowing sleeves the Evenora Dress is a modern take on a very Stevie Nicks style look. With an off the shoulder sleeve design and two straps thick enough to hide any bra that you'll be pairing with it this dress is so comfortable, cute and effortless while still remaining stunning.

The fabric has limited stretch but in the 2XL it's fine and perfectly fitted. The light, flowing fabric is perfect for the warmer months and any summer gothic looks you are planning. I'd love to see this in a print or oxblood or dark green shade next season.

Is it obvious that I've been watching the 2nd season of Sabrina with this look. I had do perfect this post and pair it with the Evenora Dress.

    Violetta Dress -  £43.99

The dress that I would never usually purchase or even think could work on me that I just had to try - the Violetta! This style is absolutely stunning but I usually steer very clear of such bright shades or blue and purple.

But there was something about this dress that made me throw my rulebook out the window. The sweetheart neckline and contrasting straps and bows offset the stunning floral fabric and the fit is utterly amazing. Busty hour glass shapes usually have issues with swings but the bust to waist ratio in this style is absolutely dreamy. I'm wearing this in a 2XL and I'd stick with this size as it perfectly accommodates all my curves without hiding or covering up too much. I've paired this with Dangerfield mustard cardigan as I love this colour combination.

Abigail Rose Dress (stocked at Unique Vintage) - $110.00

Last but never least is the Abigail Rose Dress. A flirty 40's sleeve always makes me swoon so when I noticed the Abigail dress in the new arrivals I wanted to add it to my collection. There is nothing more flattering and comfortable for me than this style sleeve. It hides the part of my arm I dislike and gently flows over the shoulder. The perfect sleeve for hot summer days and paired with a equally as flowing swing skirt and cinched in waist.

The waist tie means you can adjust how much you'd like to cinch in that waist and can accommodate many sizes as it's soft and stretchy. The V neckline also offers the right amount of skin and really balances out my upper body when paired with the sleeves.

The deep blue and red roses of this floral print are a new floral to add to my collection and I'm now inspired to pair more shoes and accessories with each flower. This is the 2XL and the fit is brilliant. I just slip this over my head and I'm ready to rock. This piece can also be styled perfectly for winter when paired with a cardigan, stockings and boots.
