What she wore - Pistols & Plaid

I got some goodies in the mail yesterday morning from Hot Topic so I have to show off my 3 favorites from the order all in one outfit. I mainly go their for shoes but this time 2 items (the tee bellow and the belt featured in my previous post) stood out.

A more casual outfit for me today a well cut yet loose fitting Fine Mess Raglan Tee - $12.98US in a 2xl and my city chic black skinny jeans. The jeans you know all about but they tee is so comfy i felt in love with it instantly and it comes in purple too! Its sold out in larger sizes online right now but its always restocked so I will keep my out out if anyone wants one.

I also got these fantastic Ellie Red Plaid Buckle Pumps which you can find via the link or How Cool as they come in 3 other colours/prints. They have 4 inch heel and are so comfy!

This is my usual casual look but I had to test drive the heels but I think it works.

This month is going to be jam packed on this blog. I will be having a giveaway from Classic Hardware and possibly a Halloween themed giveaway. I've also be testing the shapewear from Bella Bodies so my next post will feature the amazing garments they design.

What she wore - Leopard & Leather

Today my little brother (aged 9) and I went and spent a day in the heart of the city. We walked, talked, went to the Tim Burton Exibition at ACMI and then had lunch.

I got this adorable Dorothy Perkins dress in the mail yesterday (thank you Emma!) and had to wear it out in the sun today.

I love leopard print this year, I've always worn accessories in the print but never as much as I have these days. The print is fantastic its cream and black with a subtle hint of brown on each leopard spot. The cut its fitted at the top with a a-line style skirt on the bottom.

I wore my studded jacket (shown in older posts) as the wind was very chilly once we got into the city. My shoes are nothing too special, a pair of patent black heels from Target a season ago and a touch of red lipstick before I left.

Usually i would wear more of low cut on my chest but this fits perfectly so I feel comfortable enough to wear such a high neckline.

I also wanted to wear my Studded Bow Belt - $7.50 USD today from hot topic. Though in my head i thought they would not match they worked perfectly together. I can't get enough of leather real or faux with studs!

The sleeves are capped with a split and sit so delicately on your shoulder.

Now this dress is a size 20 from Dorothy Perkins but this style and I'm usually a 18 on thats site. I think because of the fabric (has no stretch) this size is possibly smaller than the tagged size of 20. It fits like an Australian 16 and I could fit into a size down but it would be a little too snug on my bust.

I can't find this dress via the website as it was a gift but they have 100's of cute dresses that will catch your eye.

Make Me Up!

SLAP Cosmetics are local company that I've had the pleasure of modeling for and whose products I've tested.

Created by the amazing Nikki Wilson a Melbourne local. This fantastic brand is manufactured in Australia and are made completely from minerals.

These days all I wear when on a daily basis is mineral makeup i find its nicer on my skin and does not annoy or sting my eyes as other non mineral products can. Al ingredients are listed on the site.

SLAP Cosmetics are :

*Hypoallergenic
*Water Resistant
*No preservatives, no fragrances
*20+ SPF in foundations (coming soon!)
*Completely natural
*Easy to apply and blend
*Long lasting, absorbs moisture and stays on
*Non drying, remains flawless through the day.

They have a great collection of shadows my stand out favorites are - Envy, Le Freak and Diamond Meadows. The liquid liner goes on smoothly, and works perfectly for my 50's flick, I did need to go over the line twice though for the dark black shade I like.

They have all you need to make your peepers pop with a perfect primer (this will make your eyeshadow stay put for longer) and brushes.

You can even request samples of the eyeshadow's if you are wanting to try before you by. So what is stopping you.

Give me Iron Baby!

I woke up this morning to a lovely site on facebook. Iron Fist Australia has uploaded images of all the stock coming in in September and just had to share.

Its no secret that I have an obsession with Iron Fist shoes, to me they are my personality in shoe form. This seasons range is amazing and its going to be hard to pick a selection to purchase as I adore them all.

The September releases have some different styles so if peep toe pumps arn't your thing then you will have more variety to choose from. With round toe wedges, booties, smaller heels and flats there is so much choice. The new fabrics and prints are to die for with my stand out favorites being the black, red and white bomb print pump and the pink almost pyramid stud like print on a super high pump.

Now have look at these amazing styles and try not to drool. I will find out the when exactly they will be online to purchase and update you all very soon.

Little Black Dress

Well hello there Spring!

Spring has finally sprung her in Melbourne and I wanted to share my recent purchase. I needed a little black dress to wear out to dinner last night and I found this adorable number in Target! Yes Target and for the nifty price of $49.00

I would usually buy more of a figure hugging shape but i thought this could work both day and night due to the A-line skirt. The lace top is stunning, my crappy camera can't to it justice!

Simply accessorized with my over sized black glasses from Jeepers Peepers and a little fabric flower that also doubles as a headband or choker from Diva.

I've got so many shoes that I though I'd show case these today though I wore this dress with boots last night to keep warm.

I'm actually looking to sell these amazing pumps as they have never been worn other than for this photo. I don't get much use for this style sadly and I'm looking to pass them onto a good home.

They are a size 10US and are a perfect fit for my 10AUS foot. Easy to walk in, very yummy and make your legs look amazing!

Here are some options if you want to find a dress like this to wear for any occasion.

Great Shape

Now it might just be my opinion but if your are game enough to wear skin tight clothing the best thing to do is invest in some fantastic shape wear to go under it.

I have a fit if i can see muffin top over my jeans, if a roll is visible and my outfit is not smooth and well fitted.

Your undergarments the the ability to ruin your outfit or make it perfect. They can make the perfect base for a dress, pants or skirt to slide onto or the wrong undergarments can make your faults ever more apparent.

Recently when i uploaded one of my shots onto facebook people started asking me what corset I wear under my dresses. I don't its just a good pair of shapewear knickers and the ability to pose correctly that gives that impression.

So here are some good options for all your shape wear needs both in Australia, the UK and the US. Each tittle link goes to the shapewear location of their website so be sure to click it if you want to see more.

Bras'n'Things - Australia

Ultimate Body - Slim High Waist Control Brief - $39.99 AUS
My stand out favorite which I own and love!

Hips & Curves

The Captivating Corset Slip - $49.95USD

Heavenly Curves

Bella Bodies New Body Definer - $65.50

Evans

Purple Lace Waist Cincher - £22.00

I also have a great pair of high waist briefs that I got at Target. They are the best fit and only cost around $19.99.

If you want more of a reduction or shape then invest in a steal boned corset. I love the shape they give you but I don't like to wear them under clothing as I dislike the visible lines they can show.

Out of Bounds - Editorial

I'm so happy to be featured in this months Plus Model Magazine with the feature Out of Bounds - Teer Wayde Shows Us The Soft Side of Being Fierce .

So I thought I'd share with you a few images that were releases in the September issue and a few that were not but that I absolutely adore. Just click on the image for a larger view.

My team for the day, two superstars! Photographer Shauna Phoon and Makeup and Hair by Jessica Bell.

We shot in Bond Bar which is a very uniquely designed bar right in the heart of Melbourne.

The corsets were provided by Obsidian Lace and the rest of the styling was completed by myself.

So please excuse me while I pose pretty without pants.

Remember what I said about pale or flesh toned shoes elongating your legs - here is proof!
