Tutti Rouge Review

I've recently become obsessed with lace bodysuits as the are the essential piece of loungewear with that extra element of sex appeal.  I'd had so much success with a piece last year to I opted to try my luck with Tuttie Rouge who I've worn for years!

Being big boobie specialists, they know how to create a bodysuit with the perfect amount of support for large cup sizes.

I snapped up two of the most popular styles in XXL and the fit it simple amazing!

Eva Body Garnet - 24.00GBP

The rich raspberry lace of the Eva Bodysuit was instantly a thumbs up for me as I'm always on the hunt for  rich colours to add to my collection. The mixture of polka dot, delicate lace sections and a double fabric bust/bralette style top all come together to create a curve hugging and boobtastic bodysuit.

Coverage wise this piece has very smartly placed lace sections so nothing will be on show but you'll feel absolutely amazing. The bust is super comfortable and supportive and I'm wearing the XXL in both bodies. The straps are fully adjustable and a back bra clasp is used to secure this into place, so you'll be able to perfect the fit that's right for you.

I've paired this with a soft pink mini robe as I love the colour combination and how much the raspberry pops against a pastel shade.

Ember Body - 24.00GBP

The second all in one piece I got was the Ember in black. A super unique style for plus size/busty girls the Ember has a high neck peephole combination and a scalloped edged cap sleeve.

My favourite features on this suit have to be that bold black waist line, the mixture of lace and that high neckline.

This piece is backless, so you don't have to worry about any thing constrictive. This bodysuit also looks BRILLIANT when paired with a black bra beneath. The layering adds and extra element and makes this piece able to be work with high waisted skirts or pants. These amazing bodies have sold me size and fit wise so I will be needing to get more and try the Tuttie Rouge bralettes.

Sophia Bra - 28.00GBP

Now my cup size has increased since my first two TR bras so I've ordered the 36H in both styles with an 18 bottom/2XL. These pieces were chosen as I've not had anything even remotely like them.

The Sophia bra is the lovechild of a half cup bra and a bralette. Combine to create an amazingly comfortable everyday piece with a soft silky base and stunning lace.

This combination really creates a fantastic shape and I'm loving the more relaxed fit in the 36H. This piece is super comfortable and has a 4 clasp back. I also love those little Tutti Rouge details that each piece features. Heart fixings on the adjustable straps and the most divine fabrics and lace designs.

The matching underwear for this bra might just be my new go to pair! Soft, silky and super comfortable on my wide hips. I wear all bottoms from this range in a size XXL/18 and they fit like a dream. I'm set now with my sizing for all pieces for this label and I think I need to snap up a few more pieces for my upcoming trip!

Marilyn Bra - 28.00GBP

Have you ever seen a piece like this? The Marilyn bra is a brilliant little creation featuring a bold underwire piece to define shape. A very similar style cup wise to the Sophia with the lace upper section but this piece has a fishnet fabric combo at the base of the cup.

The middle section works for me on a day to day basis to be honest. The first wear this sat perfectly and then on the shoot day it would not play nice. But the comfort level is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I could wear both of these Tutti Rouge bras day in, day out and never have any issues.

The matching bottoms however did not really work for me even though they did fit. I'm not a huge fan of a cut out front section for a high waist panty and these just made me feel a little odd.

Shooting and reviewing each piece really makes me inspired to order even more! I can't wait to try the bralettes and anything else that might come out!

Perfect Pairs

Lastly we have the pants that my husband instantly fell in love with. Every one needs a classic black pair of pants but for a curvy girl such as myself zips, buttons or even that dreaded thick elastic can be pure evil on your shape.
But the Push It Cuff Pants everything you'll ever need. No zips, no worries! These are exactly like the other style in fit but they have a 5% Elastane content so they fit firmer which turns out to be super slimming.

I'm actually loving the fit of these in the XL and they are a non size down style. A classic cut that's perfect for every day wear, work or when paired with a pair of stiletto's and a fitted blazer could be the sexiest evening suit on earth!

I'm already dreaming of wearing these with my vintage Hugo Boss Velvet blazer when the weather cools down.

The tropical tiger is a stunning teal print magically tailored into a lightweight and stunning maxi dress. When I saw the previews for this release I was not 100% sure if I could pull of a maxi dress but the print and shade of teal was too stunning not to try.
All my fears flew out the window when I wiggled my way into this stunning piece as glides over your curves with ease and falls perfectly.

Over the past few years, I've had a new found love for maxi's and this piece is my first short sleeve version. Great for layering all year round and the perfect summer weight fabric to pop on and look effortlessly chic.
I'm in the XL and it's stretch but does not warp the print in any way. The softness of the fabric is also a dream to wear. I've styled this in a way that I'd wear this every day to day. I adore moto jackets and I love how each BlackMilk piece pairs with my go to jacket.

Bedroom Makeover - The Process

With all of my inspiration and visual references sorted it was time to put this plan into action. After discovering B2C furniture online we stat down and scrolled through both the individual pieces and the bedroom sets.

Having a colour palette right of the bat means we know the direction we want to head in and our focus is most definitely to a dark chocolate coloured bedroom set so we can add the colour in our fabrics and other furnishings.

Jay and I looked at each set on offer as we've still got a soft spot for fabric beds but after having one with 3 kitties it's never a good match. So the love Jay instantly had for the Bella 3PCE Upholstered Queen Bedroom Suite – Teal Fabric set was mutual but the smart choice was made to head towards the hardwood direction.

The suite that instantly stood out to me was the Coco 6PCE Dark Hardwood Queen Size Bedroom Suite with Storage. The deep rich shade of brown would really work with the colours I have in mind plus the existing colours of our bedroom. We both agreed that this would be our ideal set so on Sunday we popped down to the showroom to see if we like it just as much in real life. This piece is so popular that you can also snap it up in a crisp stunning white shade. If I had not had my heart set on a dark wood this would have been my next choice.

When we arrived at the showroom we were greeted by friendly staff and leisurely walked around seeing each and every piece up close. being able to touch the wood, test draws etc is was super important to us and once we met the Coco set up close and personal it just cemented our decision. Here's a little video of our Showroom walkthrough.

Our key items to tick off were :

The Coco 6 Piece Set ticked each and every key item and we went ahead and ordered it with a delivery for the following week.

As I mentioned in the first post sustainable practices and long lasting pieces are very important to us. The masterminds behind B2C Furniture consciously made a decision to focus on hardwood furniture manufactured from sustainable forests; hardwood furniture that is built to last a lifetime and designed to be timeless so that the homes it furnishes always looks warm and welcoming for generations to come.

They've spent years building relationships with trusted manufacturers so that there is no need to rely on third-party buyers to source their stunning products. The price point on each piece is also so amazingly considering the quality and lifespan of each and every piece. B2C Furniture create pieces that you'll not have to replace over and over again and if you do return to shop it's only to add extra pieces to your home.

Jay and I are already looking at a loungeroom suite as we fell head over heels for a coffee table and couch. But this will be something to plan once we are home from our US trip as we need to save up for that piece and focus on one thing as at time. But once that makeover bug bites you are ready to do each and every room.

I'm beyond excited to be able to use these amazing pieces as the base for my dream bedroom. Now for extra fun additions and shopping for all those little pieces that make your room have that personal touch.

I've already chosen a new quilt cover you can see if you look closely the Inspiration post and with that colour scheme and my own palette choices I've been adding little bits and pieces to create the most amazing, comfortable and very US as a couple room.

We've been together for nearly 7 years now and married for 4 but this is the first big furniture planning session we've ever had and we are so into every single aspect.

Green with Envy

After falling in love with the Bauhaus Top and Palazzo Pants it was inevitable that I would gravitate to the Tap Shorts and any other colours released in the stunning batwing Bauhaus style. So when the hunter green shade was released to the public this pale skin red head needed to have each and every piece.

Inspired by both the product shots and of my Oxblood review, I wanted to create a playsuit style look with these two amazing items. I'm obsessed with all in one pieces but simple tasks like going to the loo mean I'll always need side kick to zip me back up. Well that's no longer an issue with this outfit.

I've reviewed and now worn my Black Bauhaus top many times so I'm absolutely smitten with the hunter green shade. It's the perfect cool dark green and the 2XL fits like a dream. I've paired this with a sneaky pop of lace from one of my latest black bras. I usually wear a deep plunge or booby tape with a neckline like this.
Those sleeves will instantly make you swoon and I love the focus LFEN takes on bold shape like this.

Now for the shorts! These babies fit exactly like the Widow Palazzo Pants. They are  high waisted shorts with the same gorgeous drape, but with a little more swing. Th crepe is fully lined with ITY knit, center back invisible YKK® zipper, and of course, pockets!

With all those little features and the super flattering length these shorts are perfect for my curves.

Now what I love most about these has to be that no matter what I'm wearing underneath they really flatter and compliment my waist to him ratio. From corsets to bikini briefs they sit perfectly.

I'm wearing the 2XL sit comfortably at the small of my waist and I've got no overhang or muffin top issues. So with such success I'll be back to order these in black and maybe a black pair of the Palazzo Pants. Many thanks to Damien Bowerman for capturing these two pieces perfectly!

Deadly Beauties

I have a huge love for the stage show and film Little Shop of Horrors so when all of my favourite brands create their own spin of the brilliantly evil Audrey II it must be added to my collection.

This week I'm featuring the Sophia Dress from Sourpuss in the bright neon Deadly Beauties print.

Such a stunningly bold and fun print featuring fly trap paired with bright pops of green, yellow and hot pink. The Sophia dress is a style I've been lusting after for a while so when this print was released it was a match made in heaven.

I'm wearing the XXL in this piece and the fit is super flattering with a deep v neckline, thin straps and the most comfortable and weightless fabric. Featuring a figure hugging bodice, full skirt and back hidden zip, this piece really makes my curves pop. Oh and did I mention the Sophia also has pockets?

Now this piece is sold out in larger sizes via Sourpuss but you can snap it up and resellers like across the web.

I've paired this amazingly deadly print  with my Yemak purple cardigan as the colours compliment each other perfectly. A bold silver and black belt and my most treasured item, a hand made Audrey II hair flower from Fancy Fruits. I've had this piece for a few years now and it's still in perfect condition.

You might have noticed a little Audrey popping out of the shrubs in a few of these shots! An amazing human was lovely enough to snap up this two piece puppet for me last year, and I finally got the perfect set of images with it.

Many thanks to Damien Bowerman for these stunning images and for my amazing husband for playing Audrey in these images.

I think I need to add more puppets into my shoots.

Bedroom Makeover - Inspiration

After many years of living with the worlds most boring and basic bedroom it's finally time to upgrade from bland to something that will suit both my husband's and my own personal style.

Right from the start I've had a very specific colour palette/scheme in mind. Rich warm browns, caramels paired with cool blues and crisp whites. I've searched online, made printrests and I've been saving all of those little bits and pieces of inspiration.

Since I was young I've had an obsession with interior design and creating the most perfect bedroom. Over the years my tastes have obviously changed but the inspiration and drive is forever in me.

I'm also the kind of person who plays The Sims only to create 100's of homes and never actually play the game. I could spend hours and hours pairing furniture paint and floor coverings and be 100% content.

So I'm super excited to get started on my own space and I can't wait to create the perfect room for my husband and I to relax in each and every day. I have to say my bedroom is my haven and it's the one place I need to feel completely content.

I've been searching, grabbing inspiration from interior design blogs, local furniture companies and some stunning textile designers. With my preferred palette in mind I'm on a mission to create my dream space.

Now over the next few weeks you'll be seeing just how I progress with my makeover and how ineffective and horrible my current room really is. From poorly designed furniture that has lasted less than 3 years to our bits and pieces shamble set up.

I'm absolutely sick of fast fashion and fast easily broken furniture. So in my search for classically created and real hardwood pieces I came across and amazing Australian based furniture company who ticked every box.

B2C Furniture have been creating a buzz due to their focus on creating hardwood furniture with sustainability in mind. So this past weekend we went to visit their Dandenong South based showroom to see their products up close and personal. While shopping online is brilliant I'm also wanting to feel, test and see up close each piece.

I can't wait to share every single aspect with you!

ASOROCK COLLECTIVE

This year I've been looking for more sustainable and socially conscious companies to work with and use in my day to day life. From changing my bank to wearing better brands that give back.

I've recently become an Ambassador for the African luxury watch brand taking on the giants and showing them how to be both a profitable and socially conscious company - ASOROCK Watches!

A brand new company in the market offering absolutely stunning luxury watches with a focus on making the world a better place. How you ask? Using the proceeds/profits from the sale of their watches to building free public libraries deep in the african continent.

Why? ASROCK  believes that food aid and clothing aid are temporary but knowledge is forever. Just like the old adage goes "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for aday. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime". That is why their mission statement is “manufacture premium quality watches as leverage to build free libraries in rural areas across the African continent” and our vision statement is to “have various free fully functional schools and free hospitals built in africa by 2035 with an ASOROCK COLLECTIVE store in the famous shopping districts of the world”

Now that's a company I can get behind! With so many children around the globe missing out on an education it's such a lovely thing to know companies like this are taking it into their own hands and helping as much as possible.

ASOROCK is live on Kickstarter on the 10th - 15th of february 2020 to raise funds to produce their limted and stunning The First Lady watch and continue to build more and more libraries.

The first release was crowd funded on Indiegogo and the results were amazing having sold out of both of the styles created.

So be sure to check out the Kickstarter and all the pledge offers listed! Giving your support while also receiving stunning fashion is a win, win situation.

Classic Designs, stunning craftsmanship and a brilliant time piece to pair with any outfit. I've currently got my eye on the silver and I can't wait to receive mine.

With a selection 3 colours you can find the perfect style to suit your wardrobe. At first I was actually loving the rose gold but silver really pairs with each and every piece from my daily wardrobe.

So if you are in the market for a stunning time piece and want to give something back to struggling communities this is the brand you need to back.

Motorpsycho

Inspired by the bad girls of yesteryear this look complete full leather look is absolutely divine!

Bad Girl Cigarette Pants in Vegan Leather - $175.75

When the Bad Girl Moto was released I jumped online and ordered it as soon as humanly possible. I live in leather and faux leather jackets so having one designed by my girl Micheline Pitt was obviously the ultimate addition to my collection.

I've had one moto that I've worn non stop for the last few years but this piece has take it's place. From the amazing fit to the hot pink lining, metal hardware and the classicly stunning Vixen design the Bad Girl Moto is that hot I've purchased it in PVC!

I wear the 2XL in this piece and it fits perfectly. Lots of room for layering yet still that classic curve hugging fit.

After falling for the jacket I had my eyes on these amazing vegan leather cigarette pants but I did not see many XL/2X: or 3XL/4XL girls wearing them so I chose to represent all the curvy girls and get these on my body ASAP!
I will admit I was worried but I knew that it had to be done for both myself and for all the curvy girls who love Vixen.
My gamble paid off as these are the hottest pants in the world! From the bold silver zips to that curve embracing fit these super chic pants are phenomenal. I'm wearing my standard size 2XL and the fit is really spot on. It does take a little bit of a wiggle to zip them up at first but once you are in the you honestly become one with them.
I'm 5'6.5 and They hit me at my ankles with that relaxed cigarette style fit. I feel like a curvy version of Sandy from Grease and I'm loving it.
Styling wise I opted for a plain black longsleeve bodysuit and super high black platform heels. Keeping this whole outfit clean, classic and so very 'Me'.

Print Focused

Are you ready for a whole lotta brilliant Hell Bunny styles? This year we've already been spoilt for choice with prints, new designs and all those must have classic pieces. These are my must haves from the latest release.

Tora 50's Skirt - £32.99

For many years I've been a very loyal leopard print fan but due to a few battle jackets I've acquired I've become a little obsessed with tiger print.

So when the classic 50's style swing skirt arrived in this funky print I obviously needed it on my body asap. The Tora skirt is the perfect mix of 50's styling with an almost 80's print vibe.

The colours throughout meld perfectly together and I really love the solid darker shade on the waist band.

The colours give lots of dimension and the pleats offer that stunning full swing shape. I'm wearing this in a 2XL, and the fit is firm. These swing styles have super limited stretch and the waist so be sure to order to your largest waist measurement.

Paired with a solid black Vixen x Unique Vintage collaboration blouse this looks is effortlessly chic.

Bali 50's Skirt - £33.99

What's this? Another 50's skirt but with a tropical print? It is indeed. I had one of those moments when I unpacked this piece as I knew I loved it online but once I saw the Bali print in reality I was 100% smitten.

So bold, bright and covered with my most beautiful tropical flowers. The mixture of cool and warm colours makes this the most divine print and I need to get my hands on anything and everything that exists in this fabric.

The fit on the Bali skirt is exactly the same as the previous style so order accordingly.

I'm usually not one to fall in love with blue based prints but this piece is pure magic.

Eartha Leo Dress - £44.99

All the animal prints are packed into this post it seems! I can't say no to a faux wrap dress with a 40's flowing sleeve and the Eartha Leo Dress is rocking my world.

So unbelievably comfy, so light and perfect for the summer heat of Australia.

Made from a super stretchy fabric this piece really molds to your curves and compliments your figure. The cross over neckline is great for busty girls like myself and you can wear a deep plunge bra or a show a sneaky bit of a classic black padded style like I've done here.

I'm wearing this style in a 2XL and it is perfection. I love fit of the bodice and the addition of a tie at the back which means you can really nip that middle section in and show off your curves.

This print much like the tiger has a variety of light and dark areas and it's like no leopard I've worn before. This will definitely be on rotation all year round and can easily be styled to suit cooler weather with layers, tights and boots. Because I'm all about all year round wearable pieces.

You may have read many times throughout the years that when I find a style I adore I want every single release and colour way and it's 100% True. A few years ago I wiggled my way into the delicious Strawberry Sundae Midi Dress, The Monte Carlo Mini and the  Lovebirds Midi and just loved the fit and features of this piece.

This year we have two more stunning prints available and I've added them to my collection as I'm obsessed. I've paired this look with a stunningly bright flower crown from Miz Smitten Kitten as I went a little crazy last year and purchased 4 of these!

The Viva Las Vegas print is a classic retro Vegas print with a black base. All those jackpot, slot machine and card games inspired images mixed in with iconic rockabilly pieces like hearts and cherries - the all cross over!

The same perfect fit and shape I've come to love in a few different themes - what more could you want? I wear this style in a 2XL, and the fit is amazing. The peasant style bust and sleeve is super comfy and looks amazing on or off your shoulders.

This season you can also snap up the Pina Colada print in this super flattering style. A super cute cocktail print, perfect for those balmy summer nights in beer gardens.

The print features a variety of cocktails and fruits and I've already been wearing this as often as possible.

To break up the print, I've added a lovely rusty orange Yemak cardigan and I love how it makes those warm colours featured in the print pop. The crop style also hits perfect with the fitted waist so it's adds an extra level of shape.

Use the code Teer-yemak-011 to get 40% off your order at their website. I have an amazing collection of these as they pair perfectly with every dress in my wardrobe and make my curves pop.

Ahhhh I can't get enough of this combo! I can't wait to wear both with all of my cropped cardigans and now I'm inspired to order lots of hair flowers and themed goodies to pair with each print!
