Deadly Beauties

I have a huge love for the stage show and film Little Shop of Horrors so when all of my favourite brands create their own spin of the brilliantly evil Audrey II it must be added to my collection.

This week I'm featuring the Sophia Dress from Sourpuss in the bright neon Deadly Beauties print.

Such a stunningly bold and fun print featuring fly trap paired with bright pops of green, yellow and hot pink. The Sophia dress is a style I've been lusting after for a while so when this print was released it was a match made in heaven.

I'm wearing the XXL in this piece and the fit is super flattering with a deep v neckline, thin straps and the most comfortable and weightless fabric. Featuring a figure hugging bodice, full skirt and back hidden zip, this piece really makes my curves pop. Oh and did I mention the Sophia also has pockets?

Now this piece is sold out in larger sizes via Sourpuss but you can snap it up and resellers like across the web.

I've paired this amazingly deadly print  with my Yemak purple cardigan as the colours compliment each other perfectly. A bold silver and black belt and my most treasured item, a hand made Audrey II hair flower from Fancy Fruits. I've had this piece for a few years now and it's still in perfect condition.

You might have noticed a little Audrey popping out of the shrubs in a few of these shots! An amazing human was lovely enough to snap up this two piece puppet for me last year, and I finally got the perfect set of images with it.

Many thanks to Damien Bowerman for these stunning images and for my amazing husband for playing Audrey in these images.

I think I need to add more puppets into my shoots.

Christmas with Sourpuss

This month I've got my paws on lots of plaid and a few Christmas themed looks to create a full festive season story with a few key new arrivals! By adding a few key accessories from Miz Smitten Kitten I've created my all time favourite festive looks.

Yemak Crop Sweater in Red - $28.00

Now lets go full Christmas themed! This silly season I fell in love with all of the themed prints from Sourpuss

The Holly Bats Sophia Dress is a little bit of gothic festive magic complete a few special extras. Featuring trimmed with black faux fur the sweetheart neckline and hem, has adjustable straps and pockets! This piece is both adorable and unique, and I can't get over the super sweet bat/skull/holly creations!

The perfect mixture of black, red, white and green make this a must have for anyone wanting to get festive but not look like an Elf or Santa. I've paired this adorable frock with my go to black Yemak cardigan, and I love this whole look so very much.

Fabric wise this piece has a little stretch but the base fabric is super soft and silky. I can't wait to style this for any holiday work functions.

For an extra level of wow factor add a ruby red pair of glitter covered heels. The sparkles will add that extra pop of colour and pair perfectly with the Holly Batt print.

Yemak Crop Sweater in Red - $28.00

A retro deer printed swing dress for an Aussie Summer? OH HOLY HELL YES! The Deer ME Sweets is the sweetest, cutest little swing featuring deer artwork by Peggy Sue, a very full swing skirt with lining and pockets!

If you are on the look out for that must have chrissy dress for all of your day time holiday plans this is THE dress! I chose the Pine green shade as I think it pairs perfectly with both my hair and collection of cropped cardigans. The shade is deep and stunning and looks amazing when paired with a bright red cardie.

I'm wearing the XXL and it fits firmly but does not restrict in any way. What I love most about both this and the Holly Bat dress is the fact that they can be worn all year round as they are not traditional Xmas prints. The fabric is much like the previously shown dress and they are great for an Aussie hotter than hell summer.

These looks are way too adorable and when paired with all of these festive accessories and props they just shine! This stunning deer print also comes in skirt form so if you want to create an adorable two piece looks with the marron or green you can! Plus they will be amazing when Autumn or Winter rolls around and layered with warm and rich colours.

Will you be snapping up any of these looks for your Christmas/Holiday functions?
