Simply Be 2011 Review and Giveaway!!!! CLOSED

Simply Be have released their SS11 Collection with some really cute and functional pieces and a variety of ranges. From retro starlet inspired pieces to hippie chic there is a great selection of both clothing, shoes and accessories online.

I wanted to show you my 3 current favorite outfits that can found online right now.

Black Frock & Frill Lace Dress - £65.00
And Abigail Cardigan - £40.00

The Black Frock & Frill Lace Dress is short, sweet and and a perfect summer day or evening dress. I'm wearing this in a UK16 but I could have gone down to a smaller size as its a little roomy under the bust. Easily fixed with my favorite wardrobe item - the waist belt.

I paired this up with the brilliant And Abigail Cardigan in grey which is going to be my new autumn/winter go to knit and this is also a UK16. It's lightweight yet really soft and warm and the studded metallic shoulder detail sold me at first glance (see more images online). I stupidly wore my bra ans a bodysuit underneath so the sheer lace effect on the top of the garment is not as apparent.

Next the Joe Browns Sexy Dress - £55.00

Next we have my very random choice the Joe Browns Sexy Dress I'm usually more fond of tighter fitting garments but when i saw this dress i was intrigued. It does add extra bulk on the hips but I equaled that out with my red plaid blazer (2 seasons ago in Topshop). Its really funky paired like this or if worn by itself a great casual day dress or even beach dress.

This item is really very roomy so size down.

I also got the amazing grey union jack handbag that can be used as either a over the solder bag or folded into a clutch. This is not online yet but I shall update the links when it goes live.

Then lastly the MagiSculpt Dress paired with the Double Buckle Belt in black. A perfect slim fitting wiggle dress.

This is more than just a little black dress though. Magi-sculpt unique clothing is designed to slim the tummy and waistline without causing any discomfort or restricting movement, giving an instantly slimmer silhouette. With an 'invisible' inside panel it completely flat, skimming over your curves to give a smoother, flatter waist.

I got this dress a size down from my usual size as i was not too sure of the fit. The invisible panel inside does wonders and it really gives an amazing shape.

Hello My Lovelies!

Just a quick update. I'm shooting this weekend so I will have a new post up soon and a new giveaway to announce!

Dita Rose Cardigan - Black and Red $190.00AU

The fit :

Soft stretch cotton knit is so perfect on my skin, it is a snug by very comfortable fit.

The sleeves are accommodating for my upper arms which is brilliant and the form fit of the garment makes any issues you have with your upper arm disappear!

The detail :

Absolutely divine! The embroidered flowers, the peter pan collar, delicate pressed contrast trip satin, velvet buttons and necktie, everything is so lush!

I'm wearing this with 4 of the tops buttons undone to create a keyhole look like on the website.

The length is matches perfectly with all high waist items and can be worn over or under a pencils skirt etc though it is a little short (due to my ample bust) to wear with jeans or lower hip garments.

I am wearing this in a size 4 which is an Australian size 14 due to the stretch in the garment it will fit anywhere from a size 14-16 Australian. If you have a smaller bust you as a larger 16 you might have even more luck! There is heaps of stretch in this garment its amazing! Be sure to check my measurements to the right of the page to see how this fits my shape.

They will be making this in a size 5 too which is so exciting to hear. This means as i'm wearing a 4 which fits my size 16 measurements perfectly that the new size will accommodate another size up!

Now I know that I will have lots of luck with the knitwear section of the site and I have my eye on these!

But if you can't fit into the standard sizing don't give up! Wheels baby doll have the cutest rockabilly/pinup and vintage inspired accessories.

Thank you to the amazing Berlin Bar for letting us use their brilliant location as a backdrop for this shoot. I've fallen head over heels for this delicious bar. With a brilliantly styled theme running through out (hence the name) they have a mixture of styles. With lush couches and chandeliers in one room then a bunker themed space with bunk beds, bathtub tables and amazing imagery. Iron Fist Fall 2011 - Preview

Today I stumbled across these shots of the new styles coming out this Fall/Spring from Iron Fist.

Iron Fist you have outdone yourself once again! I will have so many new pairs of shoes by the end of the year and possibly a whole lot of debt but its worth it. This is only a small sample too there are more flats, more heels, amazing colours and prints!

These styled won't hit Australian shores till the later half of the year so start saving for multiple pairs

Red & Black, studs and skulls - Yes please winter must have.
Simple stud black and silver pump - this can work with so many outfits.

I'm not usually a fan of gold but I HAVE to get these wedge booties.
Loving the heel, lace print and lacing on these pumps with the very comfortable thick heel and platform.

Nautical Madness - I love the detail in this design
More Skulls this time with a contrasting black and white ribbon and bow.

More Gold! A great way of easing your way into a pair of Iron Fist shoes. They also come in red.
Red Hot pumps with zips, studs and skulls - I have last seasons booties in this style and I will be getting these.

Feed My Frankenstein! I've been waiting for a pair of shoes with this theme, I must have these!
New colour combo of the Zombie Stomper - For the zombie collectors (I know a few with this addiction)

Peeptoe Gold and Black Booties - Another gold which I will try to rock.
Print, Sequins and studs all in one shoe - Gimme!

Print and Polka Dots - Love the miss match of these prints and the bold colours.
I've been looking everywhere for a pair of nude pumps and now I will patiently wait till these come out. Funky skulls and a colour that will elongate your legs if your super pale like me.

The same print as the pump above in a flat - love the leopard edging and bow.
Simple print red flats with some very adorable accents.

Shoe Lust

If there is one thing in this world that makes me happier than anything else its shoes. Yes I'm a fully blown shoe addict. The higher the heel the better, the brighter colour the more fun, the crazier the design the happy I am!

I've love putting a pair of shoes on with any outfit and having them stand out, having my feet attract attention and make people stare. If you see my collection you will understand why.

Recently I was looking through the new Too Fast Clothing Catalog for 2011 via their Wholesale website and came across the coolest designs I've seen in a long time. I can't wait to see these in reality!

A little black dress or really great black skinny jeans with these designs will be my uniform if I ever get my hands on these!

If you have not figured out already I have a soft spot for something a anything that has a b grade horror feel to it and these tick every single box.

Spine Heels!!! I'm just a little too excited about these.
I will take the eyeball heels as well, love the colours, styling and the studs!

The zombie hand heel - pure genius!
Love the steam punk design on the second pair of shoes also.

Now the second pair of boots have to be mine. A baroque print, skulls for heels and a fantastic leather jacket look to the shoe - how can I not own these.

Love all of these though I will have to see how thick the switchblade heel is in reality to consider buying them

I'm loving the swamp monster peeptoe boot and the lace key heeled bootie!
