Forever a Missfit

Last week BlackMilk Clothing released what might be my favourite range to date - The Missfits! A rebellious punk rock inspired range of pieces that just call my name. I was lucky enough to snap up my 3 must have pieces and this past weekend I got to style them to perfection.

Bat Belt

Silver stars, sheer layers and a stunning sleeve - Stellar you are my absolute fave! A little while back I feel hard for a similar shape all black number from BlackMilk but this print has blown my mind.

I'm wearing the Stars Corrupted dress in a size Large and due to the stretch it's a perfect fit. With enough room at the bust and arms and the must boob flattering bust known to man kind. This piece fully lined so there are no issues with bras showing and covered in metallic stars.

As this piece is lined, you'll be able to wear it all year round and it looks amazing when paired with tights over the cooler months. Pair this with thick black tights, a body suit and your favourite leather jacket and it will be a stunning winter look.

For styling on this shoot I've paired this dress with my Joyeuse Earrings from Tragic Beautiful. I wanted a bold silver earring and these daggers are amazing and super affordable. I'm that smitten with these oversized daggers that I've already worn them three times this week. I need to jump back onto Tragic Beautiful and get more!

If you've not noticed, I love a plaid print and the brighter the better in my opinion. So from the moment I saw this bright yellow wonder it immediately had to be on my body. If you've not had the pleasure of wearing a Toastie style from Blackmilk yet you will be needing them this winter! These pieces are fleece lined and absolutely amazing for those supercold days.

The classic skater shape with a super flattering sleeve and bust in the best and brightest of yellow plaid. This style hits me mid thigh and covers my toosh without any issues. I'm wearing the XL as I find these fabrics can morph with my bust at times.

The feel of this fabric is so soft and comfortable I swear you'll never want to take it off. I'll be pairing this with lots of leggings and stocking and over wearing this for the next few months.

Oh and did I mention it has pockets? I'm can see myself wearing this all winter paired with heaps of different chunky Demonia boots and platforms.

Styling wise for this look I've wanted to pair the skater with a harness and luckily I found the Hold Me Tight  body harness. I how effortlessly this piece pairs with the bright yellow plaid and how it complements my figure. Now this harness is actually too small for me which is a common issue when I buy one size fits all. Luckily after a brief online search, I found and purchased a vest extender from a motorbike clothing store and it's now more suited to my waist.

You might have also noticed little pop of silver on my ear. Last year I got an industrial piercing in that exact location but having long hair it just did not want to heal properly So this combination of stud a cuff helps me create the same look without any pain. I love the look of the chains, charms and can't get enough of this piece. It also comes in black, so I'll have to order that soon for when I'm wearing my hair up.

It's pretty darn freezing in Melbourne right now so I've been hunting for awesome prints to pair with my boots and skater dresses. While I do live in classic black leggings over the cooler months I've been in need of some more funky prints to wear with all black looks.

So when the red and black wet look tartan leggings popped up in this collection I instantly had them on my lust list. They pair perfectly with my PVC under dress and chunky Demonia boots. I think I'll be wearing these with my JOMO.2 black mini pini as well.

I wear these in a size XL.They are smooth, super comfortable and really pop with a skater dress or skirt. My legs are forever warm a toastie thanks to the awesome stockings and legging created by Blackmilk.

Let's also take a brief moment to drool over my Demonia Torment boots from Shoeme.com.au. These babies are super high yet super comfortable. Over the last few years, my Demonia collection has grown substantially and I'm loving it.

JOMO 2.0

After falling in love with the last JOMO release I could not help but snap up a few new pieces from the 2.0 range. You might have seen me sharing my new mini pini on Instagram last week but this week two stunning frocks arrived and I instantly had to shoot them!

A few weeks back I shot and fall in love with the heart top. It's the perfect boobie shaping, curve popping style for my body and now this amazing fit is available in dress form. While I do love basic black fit and flare dresses there was something calling me to the Ruby shade.

I'm wearing this heart 3/4 sleeve dress in a size XL and the fit just like the top is curve hugging perfection. The longline length of the skirt hits at the perfect point and the sleeves are firm and comfortable.

The berry shade is something new for my wardrobe and I'm super excited to be able to style this with more prints and jacket form my collection. I'll me wearing this all winter long with my leather moto jackets and maybe a few of my Sourpuss printed jackets or vests. For these images I styled this piece with a casual orange beret, an orchard corset belt and leather polka dot gloves.

I did it!! I finally got my hands on one of the tiered maxi's dresses! With each print release I miss out on these styles and now I know why. The fit on these light, airy and absolutely divine maxi's is PERFECTION.

I'm wearing this style in an Large and it perfectly accommodates my large bust and smaller waist with ease. It's more of a relaxed fit so I've added the waist belt to cinch me right in.

The Monet print on this piece is so stunning and adds a new level of brilliance into a floral print. This piece has an attached mini dress beneath for lining and floats beautifully when you flounce around.

It's definitely one of those dresses you twirl like crazy in. Now that I know this style really works for my figure I'll be sure to snap up more colours and prints from future releases.

Sparkled Tapestry

I'm ending the year with a few stunning pieces from my favourite labels and for this post I'm focusing on BlackMilk. Throughout the year I've been trying new styles and really having fun with going out of my comfort zone. Blackmilk's amazing fit, fabrics and cut's have really make me feel comfortable in my own skin and for this shoot I wanted to feature something I adore and something that I've never been game enough to try.

As a busty girl I've never been game enough to wear a one shoulder top as I've always been paranoid of a boobie popping mishap. But when I saw the Twinkle in my eye blouse, I could not say no!

A stunning snow flake and moon speckled crop top one sleeved blouse with lots of stretch and room for a HH cup.

The one thing that worried me most was the room available for the boobies and as you can see I'm able to wear this without any issues what so ever! The crop length is also super flattering as it hits you at the small of your waist. This piece is fully lined and is fully reversible, so you can wear it on whichever side you like. Be it to show off or to hide ink-work.

I'm wearing the XL, and the fit is spot on for me! Now please be aware that I'm wearing a bra in these images as I was shooting eight outfits in total on this day and could not pop in and out of my underwear but this piece is amazing when paired with the Curvy Kate Luxe strapless bra and you'll be fully covered. That close fit also makes your curves pop and the sleeve is just magical. The fit, comfort level and fabric really do make this a dreamy style and the perfect piece to wear this NYE!

I've paired this top with my Route 66 mini skater from BlackMilk but this crop pairs with just about anything high waisted. My next pairing will be this blouse with a pair of super high waisted palazzo pants.

The Rio Midi Dress might look a little familiar if you follow my blog regularly. Earlier this year I discovered the Koson Flowers version of this amazing style, and I became obsessed with the fit of this midi!

The flowing sleeve and adjustable bust really make your curves pop!The tie at the bust is optional,so you can have a tight bow and really make your cleavage pop or wear it without for a more relaxed look.

The peekaboo panel also gives me an extra element of sexiness as I don't get to show that section too often and this allows me to rock a little of my midriff without exposing too much of my waist. The fabric in my XL allows for my bra to be completely covered which is great so I can wear it with our without shape wear beneath. What I love about this darker print is that my actual shape wear looks brilliant popping through that peekaboo section.

The colour is a lot brighter than I expected but this just makes me hair and pale skin pop even more so! I'm so in love with the Rio and can't wait to get my hands on the Dark Rose print and maybe a playsuit or two in the same design.

BlackMilk Faves

It's that time once again to review a few more BlackMilk pieces! After falling pretty darn hard for a gummy brain mini dress before Halloween I finally realized I can pull off a shorter style skirt and ordered two of the most deeeeeelish pieces from the webstore.

If you don't know this already I'm a sucker for a little bit of leopard print. But when you mix in a bright backing on a leopard print you'll make me officially loose my mind. The Electrikitty Mini Skater dress made me swoon like crazy and I had to make it mine once the release went live.

Created with the most bold, bright and super funky emerald green leopard print fabric in the super flattering square neck style that I feel for a few months ago in a lighter print.

This print, the cut of the neckline and the perfectly long sleeves makes this the ultimate little skater style. Flattering, comfortable and adds that little bit of pop to your wardrobe.

I'm wearing this style in an XL and the fit is spot on. Oh and did I mention it also comes with pockets?  If you love this fabric as much as I do you can also snap up the pants in the exact same print.

Looking for a super sleek and versatile faux leather skirt? Then the Route 66 ultra high skater is for you. A little skater with a think and super high waist band to really accentuate your curves. This piece is perfection and I'm 100% sold on both the cut and fit of the skirt.

Complete with pockets, a bold silver zip and large pockets this skirt is effortlessly stylish and super sexy.

I'm wearing the XL and the fit on this fabric is firmer than the kitty print but then again they are completely different fabrics. I find the fit on this much like the Blackmilk PVC items I own which is firm but still lots of stretch.

I adore just how easy this piece is to style up or down with a few key pieces. I've opted to pair this skirt with the dress which easily sneaks under as they are both mini. The bright leopard looks deelish when paired with the faux leather. I think the Midi longer version of this skirt is next on my lust list.

Lastly a new Birthday release that arrived in my hands last week! I'm obsessed with the Show Us Ya Tops Dress and the moment I saw this Cross of St Peter printed version it was a grabby hands moment.

This version of my most regularly warn and adored underbust dress is a shorter style with upside down crosses and that classic fit that I love and adore. I swear if I only had a selection of these and a few basic tops I'd be set for life as they are a dream to wear.

I'm in the XL as per usual and the fit is great! No sheerness or stretching of the print and the length is long enough that my toosh is fully covered. This piece is selling like hotcakes and if you are a 16 be sure to size down to the Large in this as the XL has sold out.

I've paired this open bust style with one of my favourite Hell Bunny blouses and I love how the fabric mix together.

What's your favourite BlackMilk Clothing piece?

Neon Demons

Have you discovered the creepy brilliance that is BlackMilk's Halloween themed range - Neon Demons?  Jam packed full of dark, gothic and goretastic prints in dresses, leggings and outerwear.

I can honestly say I fell in love with most of this collection as the ornate black and white prints called to me but my 3 favourite pieces are completely new styles for me and I'm super excited to style them with the rest of my wardrobe.

Is this really Teer wearing a super high neckline on a bold and pale print? Hell yeah it is!!! I'm usually wearing darker shades and patterns but there was something that drew me to the Gummy Brains mini skater.

As a mad fan of skater dresses I knew from the get go that the style would be super flattering on my figure but I was on the fence about how well this amazing print would look on my ample assets. Once I wiggled my way into though that fear vanished and I was instantly in love.

The Gummy skater is soft, stretchy and so very comfortable. The long sleeves and high neckline really make my bust pop and absolutely adore wearing this dress. I'm in the XL as per usual, and the fit is spot on. The print is so funky and fun and I can't get enough of this shade of blue.

Wearing this I'm feeling some Mars Attack alien girl vibes crossed with the bot from Resuscitator's Polyester Girl film clip and I'm loving it!

The fit on this style is so flattering that I'll be snapping up more in the future be it in mini or midi lengths. So bring on all the prints and solids please Blackmilk!

In the images above you might see a little strappy magic going on under the bright blue brains! With the success of the Blackmilk stockings, I've finally ordered my first pair of leggings! The Eternal Bond Leggings are pure magic and really make your legs pop.

Create with faux leather, lots of silver studs and sport material these suspender style leggings are the perfect leg-wear to pair with all of my Blackmilk mini dresses.

I was worried my chunky thighs might not fit into these but I actually find the XL to be a little too big on the short/top area. It's not a huge issue, though, and the fit is super comfortable. So if you are a plus size girl and you are lusting after any black milk tights or leggings don't be afraid to give them a try. You'll be impressed with the stretch and comfort in each pair.

Now for something a little more traditionally my style but with a super sheer twist. I've been on the look out for a stunning cover up piece for summer swimsuits and the Widow Lace Kimono has answered my prayers.

A strong and intricate black lace robe with all those traditional kimono features and flowing sleeves.I'm wearing a size L and it's perfect as I can wear it wrapped of open as shown in these images. I'll be pairing this with a few swimsuits so be sure to look out for it in upcoming swimwear reviews.

This piece is not limited to lingerie or swimwear pairings and I'm really looking forward to pairing it with skater dresses, jeans and band tees, and more!

Lastly, I wanted to pair two of my favourite pieces from my collection as I was inspired purely by the product shot as I was browsing through more spooky themed prints and outfits.

The Gone Batty top is effortlessly chic with a 40's sleeve and pussy bow neckline but for this shoot I've actually tied the bow at  the back and created a peephole type bust-line.

The batty print looks AMAZING when paired with the super shiny PVC and the fit of this piece really makes your curves pop. I'm wearing both in an XL and the fit is spot on. But be sure to double check the size chart as the PVC has less stretch than other pieces.

Now to start saving for the next few Blackmilk releases as I'm dying to add more prints, more colours and test out different styles and shapes.
