Show Us Your BlackMilk

A few posts back I showed off my favourite BlackMilk stockings (I also went back and purchased 2 more pairs) and this week I'm filling your screens with even more of their style goodness!

My all time favourite piece from their range has to be the Show Us Ya Tops dress. This amazing piece is so versatile and I wear my velvet version of this style constantly, so it was a natural progression to order the matt stretch... when it came back into stock.

If you are an hour glass shape you'll love this piece as it really does make those curves pop. The brace and under bust area can be worn high or low at the bust and you can pair this with any blouse or top that you want. I'm wearing the XL and the fit is exactly he same as my other version with the same fabric of my classic midi black dress.

While it might be getting cooler I wanted to pair this with something I've been eyeing off for a while now. Inspired by Winona Ryders character in Heathers I wanted to wear this under bust style with an off the shoulder top or dress.

The Morris Rose printed mini dress was my first and only choice for this look. There is something so stunning and sweet about this floral print and the matching ruffle or the neckline and bottom of the dress.

Why did I choose a dress to wear beneath another dress? Because I find the fit and flow of wearing two longer pieces more flattering. Sometimes a top can bunch up and look a little strange but when you pair these pieces together the flow is absolutely effortless. Plus the soft floral really pops on the solid black fabric. This is also a size XL and the fit is very comfortable as per usual.

The stunning Morris Rose dress does need to shine on it's own as well so I made sure I got a few solo shots of this adorable off the shoulder number. This mini dress will be perfect in summer for anything where you just want a stunning pop of colour and an amazing light and comfortable fit.

The length is great as it covers my toosh without any issues but I'd also love to see this in a midi or long length as it would be an amazing cocktail dress.

I don't think my life will ever be complete until I own each and every version, print and colour way of this piece as I could live in it day in and day out.
Romancing Death Longline Princess Dress - NA

Looking for a perfectly chic yet creatively printed dress for work or play? Then the Princess longline style is going to rock your world. This stunning high necked fit and flare dress looks amazing on all shapes and sizes.

It hugs my curves in all the right places and there is no warping or stretching of the print on the bust! I'm always scared my HH cups will make an amazing print look a little odd but in this style I have no wear and I'm wearing this in an XL.

Now lets chat about that fabric! It features two embracing skeletons lovers and some adorable cupids. The bold lack and white used in this piece really make the print stand out and I'm going to be wearing this to work all winter paired with chunky boots and knits!

Sadly this print has sold out! I'm so glad I snapped this up when I did but now I'm sorry that I can't help my amazing readers buy it. But never fear if you love the Princess cut you can pick it up in minis, midis, long line and maxi styles. The prints are amazing and you'll be spoilt for choice!

Witchy Blackmilk Woman

This month I've got two more amazing pieces to test and try out from Blackmilk Clothing. After the amazing success of their midi, skater skirts and my absolute favourite the Show Us Your Tops dress, it became clear that I needed to try even more of their goodies in XL.

I absolutely adore the fit on all of my other Blackmilk items in the XL, so I've stuck with this size and tested an amazing longline dress and a awe-inspiring kimono. These items spooky, Stevie Nix vibe and I'm loving the feel, look and fit of this whole outfit. Released as part of the Immortal Beauty range you can find both pieces and more here.

With my stats and curves, I live in skater style and this longline skater is currently rocking my world! Super stretchy fabric that won't morph or change colour when stretched over a large bust, a breezy skater skirt, pockets and a thick straps to hide your bra straps.

I'm wearing the XL and as you can see it hugs my curves in all the right places, flatters my wide hips and really fits perfectly. This fabric is so cool to the touch as well and fast drying so you'll be living in this over the summer. The longline dress has a little extra length compared to our usual skater dresses, but it's shorter than a midi dress.

Now lets talk print. It's a magical print in black and gold featuring skulls, moths, crystals and more. I really adore the fit of this dress and hope to be able to buy many more prints in this exact style over the years as it's so easy to wear and accessorize.

To make this look shine a little brighter I paired the Sacred Ritual Dress with this amazingly decedent velvet kimono. Featuring a black and white skeleton unicorn print this epic imagery makes for a brilliant piece of wearable artwork.

I've never though to own or wear a garment like this but as soon as you slip into it you'll start swaning around and playing with the amazing kimono sleeves.

This piece is one size fits all and has a good amount of stretchy so you can wear it untied, loose and flowing or use the sash for a more fitted look. I've opted for both to show you the real fit of the garment and I love how it pairs with the dress.

Styling wise I've completed the look with a wide brimmed hat from Forever New and my amazing Demonia chunky based studded heels and I love the whole look. In the cooler months I can't wait to pair this with skinny jeans, flowing tanks, and thigh high or ankle boots as I have these Demonia's in bootie form!

You can pickup both of these pieces via the Blackmilk webstore right now but be sure to hurry as both prints are Limited and once they sell out they'll be gone forever.
