Everybody Screeeeeeeam!

It would not be a Halloweenie time of year without me using a Panic! at the Disco lyric or a spooky print filled post!

For this review I went Halloween crazy and ordered all of my favourite holiday prints and styles from Sourpuss. I'm such a mad fan of this brand and have been for years. Their frocks, skirt and cardigans are my daily wardrobe staples and each season I can't get enough.

Ok I know I'm a bit of a crazy cat lady but I could not go past all items in the Lucy Fur print! This adorable retro printed mini swing dress absolutely fantastic. The print is jam packed full of cats, moons, bats and little starts with a mixture of orange, white and black.

The Floozy Dress shape is a must have for all busty girls out there. I'm wearing the 2XL or XXL and it fits me like a globe. I can wear it with or without a bra and the twins stay up and out there. It's a mini on me but maybe not on others as my chest and toosh tend to make a short dress a mini - damn these ample assets.

The fabric is really interesting in the floozy as well as it's a poly/spandex mix that always seems to say cool - now this is a must for us right now as it's super hot in Melbourne.

I paired this with the Lucky Devil cardigan in an XL. I have so many of the SP cardis and they live forever, always have the best embroidered detail or prints and just rock my world.

This the little devil patches on each lapel make this cardigan a little cheekier and I just love the firm fit of the fabric and XL size.

Sticking with the Lucy Fur kitty of brilliance I snapped up the sweater in a 2XL for a more relaxed fit on the waist and hip while not morphing the print in any way. This baby is super soft and lightweight and fits like a dream. I can't wait for the cold weather to return so I can pair this with high waisted jeans or with adorable peter pan collared shirts.

This is a rather long style jumper so it pairs perfectly with the swing style skirts and you can either tuck or bunch the fabric in a knot.

I paired this sweater with what might be the best skirt I've had in years for the super hot weather we are currently having. The creepy crawlies skirt is soft and flowing, so light and feels like you are wearing absolutely nothing. The bold spider print borders the base of the skirt perfectly and the waistline is perfect in a 2XL for me.

Being the silly wife that I am I roped my husband into this shoot and made him wear a skeleton onesise and this adorable jack'o'lanten head piece from Kmart.

We got super silly as you can see and this also resulted in the following dance.

I've been dying to get this skater dress  and every store in Australia always sells out once they replenish their stock. Being a skater addict and a border print lover the Grave Digger was a must have. A super flattering shape, short little skirt and long sleeve make this the perfect dress for me.

This in a 2XL and I actually think I could size down due to stretch as I've worn this twice now and the arms are roomy as is the waist. The fabric is so comfortable though and I'll be wearing this all year round.

Lastly one of my new go to handbags the Sabrina.  I feel hard for this ruby red sparkling wonder when I saw the new season catalogue and knew that this and the bat wallet must be mine.

Sourpuss make my absolute favourite purses as they use amazing prints, make the perfect sizes and have so much storage inside. I have 6 in total and I think that Sabrina is my new favourite so all the other prints and colours are most definitely on my future sourpuss lust lists.
This shade of red also pairs perfectly with all of the items featured throughout this review but now I'm hoping that a Halloween style orange will be released next year in the same sparkly fabric.

Many thanks to the amazing Liz from L12 Photography for making my kitschy Halloween ideas come to life!!

It's Candy Time

It's Kaiju Candy time again and this time they are brighter, kookier and pack even more of a punch! Full of  creepy crawlies and monsters, bees and bold shapes this selection is my favourite so far.

What I love most about Donna's range is the focus on all things both spooky and sweet and the amazing colour pallet used to create all of her accessories. With bold outlines, shapes and a little sparkle the Kaiju Candy range really pops.

 Giant Bee Brooch - $37.00

Oh how I love wearing bugs!! I have scarabs, bees and lots of creepy little things in my collection but this giant yellow fella is the biggest and the brightest.

Brother to the Kaiju Candy 'The Fly' brooch this pin is perfectly designed so we can see the iconic yellow and black stripe beneath the wings - Donna, this is pure genius! I missed my chance to snap up the fly but hopefully I can get him soon and wear these together.

I'm slowly falling in love with the colour blue it seems as it pairs perfectly and really pops with my hair colour. So when I saw the blue and Gold Magic Moon Earrings I knew I had to own them.

A simple yet stunning design that sparkles like crazy in the sunlight and matches just about everything in my wardrobe. Giving off witching hour disco vibes and that alone is enough inspiration to plan an outfit.

It's safe to say then whenever I find any music related accessories I snap them up and these amazing blue quavers are the perfect addition to my collection. A bold shape covered in stunning multi coloured blue glitter.

Tokyo Lizard Brooch - $37.00

If there is one thing we always fall hard for from the Kaiju Candy ranges it has to be their amazing Monsters. Donna has an amazing ability to take a scary iconic monster and make he or she the cutest little critter!

Thank the iconic Godzilla reptilian creature and make it the cutest, most sparkly and sweet brooch on earth with a little bit for colour play and adorable design. Available in Green or Pink and currently sold out but hopefully to return asap. What I love most about this little fella is the contrasting use of colour. The bold green paired with the pink glitter spikes on this back and tail really make this style pop.

Plus he inspires my inner Tokyo Lizard Monster - so enjoy! :P

I'm also now a huge fan of pairing bright green and pale pink together after styling this look and I think I need to find more accessories and tops to match!

Worm Earrings - $33.00
Megaworm Brooch - $37.00

My love for Donna's handy work started many moons ago when her label Hansel and Gretel was very popular. One of my most loved and treasured pieces was her Sand worm and I still have it. So when Kaiju Candy released all of these amazing Beetlejuice inspired items I had to snap up each and every one.

The sleek and streamline worm earrings are absolutely perfect and the brooch is FIERCE! I just adore the little sandworm head popping out of the bigger worms mouth it's two worms for the price of one! I'm also loving the use or teal/and red for highlight.

More quaver earrings this time in my favourite colour way of silver and ruby red! These pop so brightly and pair perfectly with my little baby sandworm. What I love most about these earrings is how well they work as solo statement piece and I can't wait to style my hair in an up-do to make these the main focus.

The smaller sandworm follows the same shape and style of the earrings and I love the size and shape of this little guy. It pairs perfectly on all of my pre pinned moto jackets and works really well as part of a lapel collection.

Have you ever wished for a bright, adorable and completely unique Mexican wrestler tiger? Well if you did your wish has been granted. This crazy critter is giant, bold and super freaking cute!! That cheesy smile, the crazy eyes and amazing colour pairing makes this a piece that you will absolutely adore.

Wear Tiger Libre on your moto or even as a solo piece on your blouse, shirt or cropped high necked Vixen tops as I do. Pair with plain black black or experiment with more colour options as he will suit so many different prints and colours!

Look at that mug! How can you not fall head over heels with this little lad?

Lastly another creepy variant of the sand worm but this one is very psychedelic and crazy in the best way possible. A glittering huge red eyeball, beetlejuice tenticals and my new favourite colour pairing of teal and pink.

This set of stripped goodies needs their own jacket and I think I've started a new themed moto so let the hunt for more pins and a back patch begin!

Kaiju Candy has blown my socks off once again and I can't wait go snap up each and every release. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled as I'll be shooting her pre-order 'IT' range next week and hopefully having a full blog post up soon.

Thank you to my amazing husband for capturing these amazing pieces in the perfect way and for making me look purdy.

Classic Hardware = ♥

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting a set of images for Classic Hardware, joining me were photographer Kirra Jayde and makeup artist Zoe Karlis.

I have to thank everyone involved as I am so over the moon with the results! These are just half of the images taken and I will upload more as they come on my portfolio page.

Classic Hardware have designs that will make you drool, scream, fall in love and sell your first born for.

I picked 5 items to model and these are my absolute favorites on the site then I patiently waited for the goodies to arrive. They came in a little over a week, which is great shipping from the US to Australia and the packaging was in a perfect well padded and packed box.

Inside each item has its own small bag, information on what the jewelery is made out of and then all items were placed nicely in an extra padded bag.

I yelped when I saw these for the first time and when i carefully unwrapped each item I was amazed to feel how heavy, strong and sturdy these pieces are. The prices are really responsible for the items as they will last you for a very long time.

They are solid, strong and when you wear each item it has a big presence. I love my statement pieces when it comes to jewelery so this was a match made in heaven.

Heartbreaker Necklace

I also wore the Classic Silhouette Mermaid Necklace (image to come) but take a small peak at it here :

If you can't find any of these items look for online stockist of the product or email them asking for more information. But they have so much stock online so you will find many things to purchase! So go forth and burn a hole in your wallet!
