Checkmate

I did not expect to fall in love with a long-sleeved, layered floral maxi dress in the middle of winter but here I am and I'm swooning. Completely on a whim, I ordered the Dahlia in olive and it's now one of the main pieces on rotation in my world!

This stunning full-length maxi dress has it all. Three perfectly placed tiers (ending below the hips thankfully) that sway and flow perfectly. A long billowing sleeve that allows all different sizes of upper arms and a flattering bust with elasticated shirring that moulds perfectly to your chest.

Full of stretch, this lightweight style might look more Spring/Summer focused but paired with boots, thick winter stockings and lots of layers this piece shines all winter long. I've paired this piece with a simple western harness and I love the forest witchy vibes the full outfit gives off.

I'm wearing this maxi in the 16/S and the fit is spot on. Firm at the waist with, lots of bust room and the most divine skirt fit. I'm so in love with both the fit of this piece and the dark and moody floral print I need to get my hands on the mini versions as well. If green is not your colour then don't fret. They also have this maxi in Spice which is a rusty and more earthy tone. I need 3 more dresses now! The spice colourway and the mini version in both colours! Let me know if you'd like to see me styling all 3 for one shoot?

I've had my eye on this coat for many weeks now and I've finally had the chance to snap it up!!! I'm OBSESSED with plaid in all forms, be it bright yellow/blue or pink punk prints or classic tartans. So when I saw the Checkmate long-style wrap coat I knew I had to add it to my collection.

This coat is perfection. the right length, thickness and warmth for a chilly Melbourne winter with an extra pop of colour in the check print. This ruby red print really makes this piece pop and I wear this everywhere! Dressed up and paired with a Little Black Dress or down with jeans and cons.

I'm wearing the Checkmate Coat in a 18 as I usually size up for winter coats. I love the extra room for layering knits beneath and the overall more roomy fit.

I really feel like this piece was designed for me as it hugs me perfectly and that print just pairs with my skin tone and both my natural hair and all of my wig collection.

I'll be wearing this for many years to come! I might even get another size down just in case my weight changes!

Sweetheart neckline - check! Sheer polka-dot sleeves - check! Fit and flare skirt with hidden pockets - DOUBLE CHECK! I think you are going to love the new Asher mini dress! She's cute and figure-hugging, flirty and fun and a joy to wear!

Made from a thick and stretchy fabric this dress holds you in and your bust up to create that perfect shape with or without shapewear. I love the mix of solid fabric and these billowing sheer polka-dot sleeves. I get to show off my arm tattoos while still feeling covered up.

I'm wearing the Asher in a 16/S and it's a firm fit and does wonders for my bust! This piece is a little retro with a modern fit and it's pure comfort. Perfect for a date night!

I love how perfectly this pairs with the Checkmate coat and my Westwood heels to create a perfect red and black outfit. What's your favourite piece from this review?
