I think it's fair to say that I have had a rather large obsession with Blackmilk for a while now and luckily they have some of the best pieces currently in stock in their Essentials range. Lots of amazing dresses and separates to add to my year-round wardrobe and for layering as it gets a little chilly down in Melbourne.

STARRY NIGHT OVER THE RHÔNE SHEER BODYCON SLIP DRESS
Did you know that ‘The Starry Night’ is the best known of Van Gogh’s nocturne series of paintings, ‘Starry Night Over The Rhône’ was actually painted almost a year before the famous masterpiece? I had no idea shopping for a wiggle dress could teach me new facts about Van Gogh!
This print is stunning! Perfectly capturing every amazing detail of this artwork in a wiggle dress - who would have ever thought this was possible.
I've been a little scared of wearing wiggle dresses since gaining weight but there is something so cute and comfy about Blackmilks double layered wiggle pieces. I always size up one size to give a little bit more fabric and room (hate stuff being super right on my bust or waist. I'm wearing this in the XXL and it's roomy but so comfy.
The bold print pairs with absolutely everything in my wardrobe but I wanted to wear this with my favourite Vixen faux leather moto. My daily uniform is a moto so why not style all my strappy favourites with my go-to jackets. I can't wait to find the perfect catsuit to wear beneath this as well. It's my must-have piece for the cooler months and this dress will look amazing with long layers beneath and chunky boots!
I can't get enough of this print and fit and can't wait to see what other wiggle styles come out in the next season!
SLEEK LONG SLEEVE RIO TOP
PUSH IT POCKET A-LINE SKIRT
So I have a full-blown addiction to anything RIO from Blackmilk. The fit, the cute little keyhole features and the perfect amount of boobage mean I pretty much live in all of my Rio dresses and playsuits. But recently I purchased the Rio in a top version and I'm very much smitten.
This piece gives me summer witchy vibes and I can't get enough of how cute it is. I'll be pairing this with skirts and palazzo pants in the summer.
For this shoot, however, I've paired the Rio with the Push It Aline skirt which is a must-have all year round. The perfect high-waisted mini with pockets! This little skirt is thick, comfy and form-fitting.
Because I have big hips I've noticed the pockets do tend to gape a little in the XL so I've added a chain waist belt to help them sit a little better. I think if I sized up to the XXL the pockets might not have that issue.
This marks my second scoop longline strappy dress and this most definitely won't be my last. These stunning little skater-style dresses are perfect for all-year-round wear, have lots of room for layering and look amazing from summer to winter.
I fell in love with layering this style a few months back so I ordered a size up (XXL) so I can pop tees, skivvies or even a bodysuit beneath. But this piece shines on its own as well.
The print features the stained-glass rose window from the historic Basilica of Saint-Denis in Paris, which depicts the Tree of Jesse, a biblical representation of family lineage. This visual is absolutely stunning and even better in person! It's magnificent and so very intricate!
I've paired this longline dress with my bright pink Vixen moto jacket and I love how they work together. A bold bright pop of colour paired with a darker, almost gothic print.
You can also snap up this stunning print in a mini but I love the length of the Longline style. I can't wait to see what's next in this dress fabric/print-wise as I want to live this all year long!
