 Just a little while ago I shared my winter warmers with you from City Chic and this week I have yet another boot and coat combo that I think you'll adore!

The recent Golden Collection had one amazing piece that screamed my name! A hi-lo style winter coat with a moto-like front, huge lapels, and figure hugging goodness.

 The cool weather is hitting Melbourne and I could not be any more excited! I absolutely adore the winter as I get to layer, wear stockings, and add to my ever-growing coat collection. From berets to gloves I can't get enough of the accessories and fashion that fill the chilly months of the year.

I will find any excuse year-round to wear plaid but there is something a little more magical in the cooler months when you style with a rich scarlet plaid print. This season I'm going with my classic colour combos but adding a little pop of jewel tones here and there. 

My recent City Chic haul was like a delivery from Santa! I could not wait to get each and every piece on my body. The mini pini is a mod style mini dress that has been around for a few seasons now at CC. 

A knitted mini dress with bold waist detailing, side pleated skirt, scoop neckline, and a stretchy fit. This piece is adorable on its own (as shown) or layered with a turtle neck bodysuit or catsuit. Pop a white or black long-sleeve top under for extra warmth and you've got a completely different look.

I feel like it's been forever since my last Sourpuss review! When in reality it was only last year, so it's time to share my must-have pieces with you asap. From the sweetest little ruffles to spiderwebs and bats - I've got everything covered! 

SOURPUSS BETSY DRESS BLACK

I've been looking for a mini dress exactly like Besty for so long. A perfectly fitting, curve-hugging mini with a flowing skirt and lots of little detailing. 

Those ruffles, the little rouched section on the very flattering V neckline, and the sleeves make this piece utter perfection.

I'm wearing the Besty dress in an 2XL and the stretch poly knit is super lightweight and a joy to wear. The perfect summer LBD but can be layered and worn with tights during winter. This piece is now my go-to as I feel amazing each and every time I wear it. There is a little magic within this dress.

The Betsy is also available in two more adorable prints and I need to get these immediately. The cut and design of this piece means it's perfect for both solid and printed fabric.

SOURPUSS SPIDERWEB HOOP EARRINGS SILVER

Now obviously the best accessories are covered by Sourpuss with their latest selection of hoop earings. I'm a sucker for a big statement earring and these silver spiderwebs have me swooning. Sized at 2.75" x 2.75" they are stainless steel and nickel/lead-free. Light and effortless to wear while making a statement. I'm in love!

Now for something a little more swing 60s! The Belle is a little retro mini dress with bell sleeves and a perfect fit. Hitting mid-thigh this is a perfect little mini that covers my toosh - I know this seems irrelevant but my tosh makes minis micro minis! 

This piece screams retro spooky to me so I paired this with tights and bright white gogo boots! Little did I know the combo would be blinding on camera! It's full retro Wednesday Adams and I'm loving this vibe completely.

The fabric has heaps of stretch and fits like a dream in 2XL. I can't wait to wear this all winter long with different styles of boots and tights.

SOURPUSS BATTY ARGYLE POLO SKATER DRESS MULTI

It's time for prints! While my daily uniform is mostly black I do love a spooky print. The latest batty argyle printed Polo Skater has been calling my name for months now. I wear I never looked at a short sleeve polo or shirt-style dress until a few years back with my favourite Sourpuss yellow plaid dress entered my collection and now I'm sold. 

So I knew the fit of this little skater would be amazing in a 2XL. What I adore most about this piece has to be the faux leather accents on the sleeves and collar. With a bold print, these accents really pop and the smooth faux leather is soft and stretch - no restrictive sleeves here! The colours of the argyle print are amazing as well. They go with each and every accessory and piece in my wardrobe and I can dress this up or down with ease. It looks amazing with anything from heels to boots and even Converse sneakers.

SOURPUSS SPIDERWEB SLIP AWAY DRESS

Teer in a Slip Dress? Yep, that's right! I've never actually worn one as fashion (yes not even in the 90s) but the new Slip Away line from Sourpuss drew me in. Bold black lace trimmings, lots of bust room, adjustable straps, and that spiderweb print! Ahhhhh I adore this slip!

 

Now usually in a wiggle I'm a little worried about my tummy showing but who the hell cares? This wiggle is too cute to be bothered by something so silly. I'm wearing the 2XL and it's actually super stretchy and roomy. I'd suggest sticking to your usual size as the fabric might warp if you size down for tightness. 

Not into spiderwebs? Well, the slip-away is available in so many more prints and fabrics. From bats to velvet, green leopard to skulls. I have to say this spiderweb print really does call to me and it inspired this entire look. I've paired the slip with my latest Vixen Cropped Moto jacket, a Killstar belt, a chain choker, and lots of pins.

Then of course the other amazing pair of silver hoops from the latest SP earring range. Simply strong and very, very cool. Both pairs will be on high rotation weekly. Not into Silver? Well Sourpuss have you covered with black versions of each style and gold or rose gold versions. 

I adored every single look from this latest haul and can't wait to wear them out asap! Now don't forget to Stay Weird!

Today I'm feeling a little go-go with Hell Bunny's Kate Skirt. This stunning print in a high-waisted mini-style skirt is the perfect little mod/gogo addition to my closet.

Bad Girk 3/4 Sleeve Crop Moto Jacket

Going with an all-black and red theme this adorable look was inspired by the Kate Hear Print. Featuring red, pink, and white hearts and star motifs. A bold silver zip is front and center and the waist also features belt loops so you can pair this with your favourite waist belt. 

Fit wise this skirt is very limited in stretch and if you are between waist sizes I highly recommend you go one full size up. I'm wearing the 3XL and there is an inch or two room at the waist and movement at the hips but I really love how it sits and fits. Did I also mention there are hidden pockets?

I've styled this with my favourite Dracula printed tee and a new cropped moto jacket. Feeling the winter styling rolling in I wanted to pair this with solid black tights and go-go boots as well. I love how the print and the boots really pop in this outfit. 

Next on my lust list has to be the following amazing Hell Bunny pieces. I'm loving the stunning teal shade of the Emmeline Dress the faux wrap bust and sleeve combo are making me swoon. I also need both the Bat Mini Skirt and Emmylou Skirt. Adorable prints that will pair perfectly with classic black tops of all shapes and sizes. I can see myself pairing the Bat Mini with oversized knits and chunky boots all winter long and the western Emmylou style with button-ups and any of my cowboy boot collection.

I swear wearing Thistle and Spire makes me feel like a superhero! The power, the vibe, and the outright amazing styling make me feel invincible.

I had to add a new colour to my collection of T&S bodysuits. While I adore classic black and sheerness there was something about this smoke-inspired one-piece in burgundy! 

Perfectly placed flames hide what you need to be hidden (one social media or on the street) on the Smokin Morrors bodysuit, while also creating a dynamic and brilliant visual. 

The suit is a full halterneck with a crisscross back. Each flame is embroidered and the back is a thong style. So cute, so comfy and so powerful. 

I'm wearing this in a 1XL and the fit is perfect! I can be either a 1xl or 2xl depending on fit, fabric, etc but I love this piece in this size. As you can see this is more about comfort and brilliant creative design than super support for the twins and I can't wait to incorporate this into a fashion look. Pairing this with a wiggle skirt and layering a Thistle and Spire bra beneath = Perfection!
