Just a little while ago I shared my winter warmers with you from City Chic and this week I have yet another boot and coat combo that I think you'll adore!
The recent Golden Collection had one amazing piece that screamed my name! A hi-lo style winter coat with a moto-like front, huge lapels, and figure hugging goodness.
As I've mentioned before I'm trying to fill my wardrobe with more colour and this mustard/golden shade was an instant winner for me. These warm shades work perfectly with my red hair and I love how they pair with autumnal and winter looks.
Fit-wise I now go up 1 full size to accommodate my chest in all City Chic coats. It's a little large on my waist and sleeves due to being a Medium but it easily glides over my bust. So if you are a super busty 18 standard sizing I'd suggest the Medium at CC for call coats. I wear Small/16 in all other items and the fit is spot on.
This coat is perfection and I really need to invest in a few more colours. I'm trying to choose between classic black or ruby red currently. Which do you think I should choose?
I've styled this with my favourite polka-dot gloves and some adorable golden heart-shaped glasses. I love the 60s vibe this entire look gives off.
In my last City Chic blog post I reviewed the faux suede Pricilla boot and after falling in love with the fit I've come back for the faux leather version. They are amazing fit, comfort and style wise and I can't get enough of them.
As mentioned they are a standard if not medium calf fit so if you have a wide calf these will not be the best fit for you. But City Chic has so many more wide calf styles that fit all shapes and sizes.
