 It's a little bit early but Blackmilk has gone into full festive season planning and released their latest Christmas-themed collection Sleigh-Ed!

Jam-packed full of Christmas classics, festive prints, and some cheeky Krampus-inspired pieces for those who don't celebrate Xmas. 

What excites me the most for this season has to be the sheer amount of Rio pieces in this collection. Rio is my go-to summer cut and we are spoilt for choice this year with 2 Rio Dresses and 1 playsuit 

NICE LIST RIO MIDI DRESS

Oh my gosh this piece is the perfect summer-friendly festive party dress. Created with a flowing and cooling fabric (I never overheat in my Blackmilk Rio's) this midi dress is a must have. 

Flounced cap sleeves, waist cut-out design and removable tie make the Rio a really versatile and flattering for all shapes and sizes. The bust can be worn in multiple ways and you can show as much skin as you feel comfortable with. The tie itself can be fully removed and used as an accessory - ie. a matching headband! 

Now let's chat print. The Nice List fabric features all those quintessential Christmas visuals and I adore the reindeer and candy canes the most.  This bold red and white fabric pairs perfectly with all accessories and for this shoot I kept it rather simple with a white leather floral headpiece and ruby red Annabelle Wigs retro wig. 

Size wise for this I'm wearing my usual XL and the fit is perfect. This piece is definitely going to be worn to my work Xmas party next month. 

 

BOKEH RIO PLAYSUIT

Say hello to my second Rio Playsuit! My first of this stunning style was a very summery Sirens Call piece and I instantly fell in love with the superior comfort from the moment I wiggled into it. So when I saw the sneaky previews of the Sleigh-Ed range I knew I had to have this piece.

Have you ever dreamed of being covered in twinkling Christmas lights? You can this season with the Bokeh platsuit.  

This print is rather magical and really looks amazing close-up. Such a stunning mixture of colours this piece gives you what you adore from the Rio Dress but in onsie form. 

Perfect for any casual Christmas events or just for wearing all summer long as this piece is cool and comfy. 

I'm wearing this in the XL and the fit is fantastic. Skimming over my hips, and flouncing just where I want it to. I had to pair this playsuit with my red heart Blackmilk tights and I love how cute this looks from behind!
