Short Shorts and Plaid Perfection

Summer is just around the corner and I've found the perfect shorts to beat the summer heat while feeling amazing.

Ruffle Waist Short - black

Is there anything more adorable than a classic black high-waisted short for the summer months? What if I told you that these adorable shorts are not only the perfect length but also feature a super comfy ruffled elasticized waistband so you can wear these all day and be in pure comfort mode. 

I'm wearing these ruffle shorts in my usual 16 and they are very, very roomy. I urge you to size down when you order these as they are super stretchy. 

Thought a little large on me fit wise I'm in love with these cute little shorties. I've been glaming them up with heels and blouses or just wearing them casually with a band tee and flats. 

I'm so smitten with the look, feel and fit I'll be ordering two more pairs in different fabrics to keep me comfy all summer long. 

Ooooh, I nearly forgot to mention your booty will look adorable in these as well! Plus they show off one of my all-time favourite tattoos. 

London Red Check Pants

After the success of the Harley red plaid jeans, I wanted to update my wardrobe with a new bright pair of plaid pants. Instantly I fell for the amazing London Check style and the super skinny fit.  

Sadly though the fit is not what I expected at the waist. What I thought would be a really stretchy fabric is actually very much solid and has little give. So a size up would be needed for the right level of comfort. Sadly these sold like hotcakes so I've missed out on getting my paws on a larger size. 

I'm wearing these in the 16/S and the fit is firm and not 100% comfortable. But one of my favourite loose raglan tees and a moto made this look work. So if you ever get the chance to pick these up in-store or they come back via the online store be sure to size up.

I swear this complete look is my go-to winter uniform here in Melbourne. Mixing up the raglan tees and skinny jeans, then pairing them with an iconic leather moto jacket.

To put it simply Scantilly is the be-all and end-all of luxury lingerie. I've never felt more comfortable and sexy than when I wear their amazing pieces. It's not just the perfect fit of each and every piece but the attention to detail that makes these my go-to for pretty much everything.

I first fell in love with this fit in the Sex Education set and really love how it offered great projection and lift. I have a variety of odd necklines in my wardrobe and this is a perfect choice for most of my more mega-cleavage styles.

It's time for some new Heart of Haute goodness! With spring in full swing I'm lusting after bright prints and stunning florals. 

Jenni Dress in Folk Flower Black

Now I've had my eye on Jenni for a while now but I've not had the chance to snap this 60's inspired number up in my size. But after confirming with HOH-HQ regarding my measurements I got my paws on the amazing black folk floral in a 2XL. 

I've not been this obsessed with a dress in so very long but I think Jenni might just be the most perfect fit for my curves. With my body shape and big bust, it can be hard to find a higher necklike that flatters without giving you extra bulk. The Jenni creates the most divine shapes, fits like a dream, and really flatters a plus-size/hourglass shape. 

I wear mostly 1XL and 2XL pieces from Heart of Haute and this really is perfection in the 2XL fit. The fabric is light, and airy and falls beautifully.

This week 17 Sundays have inspired me to show off my natural locks and bring out my inner rock chic ith their latest printed tees and dresses. Brining effortless causal comfort with a grunge/rock edge that screams my name.

Arriving just in time for Melbourne to start teasing us with super hot summer weather these pieces are going to be the go-to grab for beach trips, beer garden hangs, and much, much more. 

I'm absolutely OBSESSED with the latest dress creations from 17 Sundays. Long tee styles that are really comfy and flattering while bringing a whole lotta sass with epic side splits. Perfect for pairing with thigh-high boots or flats. Jeans, shorts or just on it's own.

 It's a little bit early but Blackmilk has gone into full festive season planning and released their latest Christmas-themed collection Sleigh-Ed!

Jam-packed full of Christmas classics, festive prints, and some cheeky Krampus-inspired pieces for those who don't celebrate Xmas. 

What excites me the most for this season has to be the sheer amount of Rio pieces in this collection. Rio is my go-to summer cut and we are spoilt for choice this year with 2 Rio Dresses and 1 playsuit 

NICE LIST RIO MIDI DRESS

Oh my gosh this piece is the perfect summer-friendly festive party dress. Created with a flowing and cooling fabric (I never overheat in my Blackmilk Rio's) this midi dress is a must have. 

Flounced cap sleeves, waist cut-out design and removable tie make the Rio a really versatile and flattering for all shapes and sizes. The bust can be worn in multiple ways and you can show as much skin as you feel comfortable with. The tie itself can be fully removed and used as an accessory - ie. a matching headband!

Flirtelle is my go-to brand nowadays as they are always the perfect fit. I can trust that no matter what I order the 38H will fit like a dream and be super comfy for all-day wear. 

No I'm usually not one to go straight to a white bra but I think you need 3 naturals in your collection at all times to suit each and every look in your wardrobe.  The Emilie is sweet and soft, stretchy, and fits like a dream. I adore the sheer panels and delicate floral embroidery and the side support really does help give you that secure fit.
