Summer in the City

City Chic has had an influx of new spring/summer pieces that will have you covered for all occasions. From casual jumpsuits with a pinup twist to disco diva dresses that will blow your mind.

Luna Jumpsuit  in Toffee Spot

I've found the perfect piece for quickly throwing on and looking effortlessly chic. Perfect for shopping, brunch, or weekend events. The Luna is a stretchy, comfy, and adorable pinup-inspired jumpsuit available in navy or as shown in Toffee Spot.

Just wiggle your way into this stretchy all-in-one jumpsuit (no zips/no fuss!) and you will feel and look amazing. The bust, sleeves and print really give off a retro vibe and I adore how this really flatters my curves.

I was not feeling the best body size on this day but this piece gave made me forget that completely. It's obvious that I'll need the navy asap so I can wear these on rotation weekly. Size wise I'm in the XS  14 but the bust is super roomy so I can easily go down to the XXS 12. It's a really generous fit so be sure to size down.

The sheering at the waist and back really helps make your curves pop and I can't wait to style this again for brunch next weekend.

Now for a colour I usually would not think would work on me but I just had to have it! A bright pop of almost summer sun and magenta is winning me over! This adorable little mini dress is a must-have as it's so versatile.

Pair this with heels and a clutch for cocktails or wear this over your swimsuit at the beach. The styling possibilities are endless and the fit is perfection. This is a more relaxed fit as opposed to figure-hugging but holy hell it gives great cleavage. I'm wearing the 16/S and it's fully lined and rather relaxed fit-wise from the underbust down.

You can wear this with or without a bra and I love how much support is there when going sans bra and how it really holds you up. I'm wearing a bra in these images however as I had to shoot multiple looks on this day. But it's super easy to hide a strap in the sleeves.

What do you think of the magenta shade? I'm trying to make an effort to love all members of the pink family and this mixture of purple and pink has me swooning.

From the moment I saw this sparking sequin zebra stripe wiggle I instantly got Poison Ivy from the Cramps vibes and needed to have it on my body asap. This piece inspired the wig choice as well as I wanted to add that little Psychobilly twist to the look.

This dress will make you feel phenomenal from the moment you wiggle into it. The bold print, sparkles, and this stunning shade of Emerald Green really pop, and the one-shoulder asymmetrical design is both flattering and curve-popping!

The bold bishop sleeve is one of my favourite features of this piece and I'd love to see this as a blouse as well. Imagine pairing this in top form with a high-waisted pair of wide-leg pants - PERFECT!

I'm wearing this dress in my usual 16/S and it fits like a dream. I can't wait to wear this out and show off my oh so daggy dance moves while looking amazing.
