Vanity Fair

It's Vixen time once again!!! With each and every Vixen by Micheline Pitt release I find myself adding more and more to my lust list and snapping up those essential pieces and prints. My wardrobe is becoming half Vixen and I'm mighty proud to wear such amazingly constructed pieces.

For this set I wanted to feature my three hottest must haves from the current collection featuring spider webs, roses, leopard and delicate polka dot mesh.

One of the most wanted and lusted after prints from Vixen this season is the stunning Spider Web and Roses design. Inspired by a vintage fabric and created on soft cotton/spandex stretch sateen. The fully lined and front fused bodice does wonders for your shape and really makes slims and pulls you in.

The Vanity Fair is the kind of style that will suit you no matter what size or shape you are as it flatters all body types. The neckline, fitted bodice and little boxy sleeves all come together to really make my body shape POP and I don't think I've ever felt this confident or comfortable in a short sleeve dress.

I'm wearing the 2XL, and the fit is amazing. Firm but comfortable, flattering and so soft. The element of stretch in the cotton/spandex/sateen really molds to your shape and I have plenty of room in the bust while still having this tight waist fit.

Now lets chat about print - isn't it amazing? Stunning warm pink roses and green leaves paired with delicate spider webs all on a solid black base. Visually stunning and perfectly designed.

Natasha Marie in Australia has plenty of stock for this specific style if you are looking for a great Vixen stockiest. You can also snap the Vanity Fair dress up at Vixen which has just been listed for round 2 preorder.

Oh Frenchie I'm crushing hard on you!

If you are looking for that perfect mixture of pinup and goth, the Frenchie Dress is for you. Featuring 1930s bishop sleeves, paired with a tie neck detailing and fused strapless bodice gathered swing skirt. The soft overlay of dotted mesh is absolutely divine and helps cover up any arm issues while sitting perfectly mid forearm.

I'm wearing this style in a 2XL and it's actually very stretchy as the ponte has lost of give. I originally wondered if I should size down due to the forgiving fabric but as the mesh is rather delicate it's better to stay with your standard size. You don't want to apply too much pressure to it and have a rip.

Such a classic and classy little black dress perfect for wearing all year round. I wore this as part of a dark Queen of Hearts look at the opening of the Wonderland Exhibition and it looks absolutely amazing.

Style for summer or winter with ease. Strappy heels and lots of roses in the warmer months and gloves, berets, stockings and boots in the winter. This style is also available in a wiggle if you'd rather a more form fitting shape.

Inspired but Micheline's own styling I've paired this look with a wide brim black sunhat and red roses. But I also love this dress when paired with gloves and red, black or grey berets.

I don't personally own this style but I've seen amazing curves rock the wiggle and my favorite plus model, Hunter McGrady was recently seen looking super hot in this dress. I'm sure Hunter is wearing a 2XL and how hot does she look?

Lastly, we have the ever so popular Sweetheart Dress in Wilde Leopard. You may remember me featuring the black and white striped version of this dress in previous Vixen posts. This style is amazing on all figures as the sweetheart neckline does wonders for boobies. Fully lined in the bodice and front fused like the Vanity Fair dress this style has a similar fit but with adjustable straps apposed to sleeves.

I'm wearing the 2XL and it's a firm and very fitted style. It fits slightly tighter than my stripped version but I'm not too sure if this is slightly different fabric. I can wear this with or without a bra which is amazing! Micheline always creates magical styles that hold the twins up!

This leopard print is absolutely stunning as well. A lot of the time you can get leopard that's too bright, oddly spotted or poorly drawn but this fabric is perfection.

As I'm not 100% confident with strappy dresses, I paired this with my beloved Velvet Wrap Top in Black. I just adore how versatile this wrap top is as you can wear it on it's own or in this style as a cardigan. It also pairs perfectly with the Leopard fabric and the Spider Webs. The addition of a velvet wrap makes this style able to be worn each and every season. I own both the black and blue velvet wrap tops and I must get any future colours as they are so very versatile, warm and a joy to wear.

Every single dress featured in this post has huge pockets that you'll fall in love with! Big enough to fit the largest iPhones on the market and more.

If you are Australian or NZ based the Natasha Marie clothing is your best store for Vixen goodies but if you are over the other side of the pond be sure to snap up these garments directly from Vixen by Micheline Pitt's website. Links below:

With stockists locally like Natasha Marie we have the ability to snap up some items that have already sold out on the Vixen webstore. So every time I post about Vixen I'll be sure to share links for both websites.

Many thanks to Damien Bowerman for capturing these stunning pieces perfectly!
