Vision Direct Now in Melbourne!

You may have noticed over the years that I have a rather large accessory collection and one of my most loved items has to be sunglasses. I'm forever hunting for stunning retro styles, bold and bright shapes and  unique piece be it for sun protection or now that I wear glasses for work - to see!

I've been a long-time customer of Vision Direct for many years now and I'm super excited to share the brilliant news that they now have their very first physical store in a prime location on Bourke Street in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

Vision Direct partnered with Chester Eyewear, because of their high-quality products and because their values in terms of community were aligned.  Both were looking to expanding into new channels (one offline, the other online), so this was a perfect match.

Where can you find them? Shop 3, 535-555 Bourke Street Melbourne

In store you can find a selection of their best deals from the online https://www.visiondirect.com.au/  website. But that's not it!! They offer the eye-tests and have opticians to help you choose the right pair of prescription glasses or lenses.  Plus free contact lens check-ups, testing and trials so all your needs are covered. Services and products are Medicare covered – no out of pocket.

More information about the store can be found here: https://www.visiondirect.com.au/Melbourne

Now that you are all clued up on how and where to shop lets talk styles!

For this review I stepped out of my colour comfort zone but still in a style that compliments my face shape the best. I've never owned the label Dita before but from the moment I saw the Heartbreaker style I was drawn to it. The classic cats eye frame, the soft grey/brown shade that works with all skin tones and the lenses that have a gold tinged to pair with the 18k gold arms.

This traditional 50's style is completely and utterly perfect and you'll notice how amazing they shit on my very heart shaped face. My fringe can be an issue with some specs and glasses but these sit perfectly without pushing or denting my hair and they are so lightweight you'll never feel them on your face.

It's taken me years and years of trial and error to find a really amazing pair of cat's-eye sunglasses but these are now my absolute favourites and I'll be keeping these safely stored away until I get the perfect occasion to wear them.

These are my first DITA sunglasses and I have to say I'm blown away with the design and care taken to craft these stunning shades. I've fallen that hard for these glasses that I think I need to add a few more to my collection.

As an avid collection of frames, I'm now searching for more retro or completely unique and funky frames so you'll be sure to see more and more posts from me this year regarding eyewear.

My styling for this shoot was simple. A bold stripe, stunning shades and a pop of colour with my Elleni The Label Crazy Cat Lady Beret. As mentioned earlier this week I just adore these amazingly creative berets and now that it's chilly in Melbourne I officially live in them.

I've never tried a lilac shade with my colouring but now I'm hooked! This soft and supersweet beret has adorable kitty faces embroidered all over the top - all types and colours! A must have for all the cat mums out there. I think I'll call this look Classy Cat Lady Chic!

I can't wait to see what's to come from this amazing brand and I'll start storing my Hat collection funds away now so I can get a full weeks worth of these adorable accessories.
