It's All About Print!

It's time for a huge Hell Bunny review post!! I might have gone a little crazy on my photo shoot and now it's time to review every single piece I shot. We have fruit and florals, nautical and tiki inspired prints aplenty. Oh my gosh this is going to be an information and image overload so sit back and lets chat frocks.

TAHITI 50'S DRESS - $109.99

Last  year I feel in love with the shape and fit of the 50's dress in black but this year I wanted something with a little more texture and the bold Tahiti print was a must have. A stunning hibiscus flower print on a black background with natural woodlook buttons.

This fabric is amazing and the fit is perfection in a size 2XL. The back unlike my black version this dress shape, has adjustable straps so you can play around until you fit the best fit for your bust and torso.

What I love most about the fit of this dress has to be how it nips me in at the waist while skimming over my hips. I find many fabrics can sit oddly on my hips as they are rather huge but this really complements my shape perfectly.

This style also comes in a mint based version of the hibiscus print fabric and both suit multiple skin tones, hair colours etc.

Cactus Mid Dress -  $111.99
This print has been on my mind since the moment the I saw sneaky previews. I'm nutty for all things cactus related and this summer swing dress is amazing. The base print of polka dots paired with flowering cactus plans in pots is adorable and the fit is really amazing for busty bigger girls as it really compliments your bust.

I'm wearing the 2XL and the fit is actually one size too big due to the side panels of shirring. So if you are a usual 2XL in Hell Bunny I highly recommend sizing down in this specific style as the fit will be so much more flattering on an hour glass figure.

What do you pair with the Cactus Mid Dress? Well luckily Hell Bunny have created the Cactus Cardigan to wear with this sweet print. With a shorter sleeve, cactus motif an pink faux pearl buttons to complete the look.

I'm wearing the cardigan in a 2XL and the fit is great but I'm hoping that a long sleeve version of this is made as I find this length makes upper arms appear larger. Being a summer cardigan the sleeve length makes complete sense.

This is a mid dress length wise but on me it sits just above my knees so it's the perfect length and does not show any toosh.

Time for me to step out of my comfort zone and try a different cut and fabric!! The Paige Dress is a Chiffon 40's style dress with some beautiful features. It has lining with thin straps with adjusters at the back, 9 glass look buttons at the centre front and a super sort sleeve - It's a scary type of cap sleeve for me but I did not want to hide the full shape of this dress so I shot without a cardigan - eeep!!!

The 2XL fits me comfortably and as you can she the higher neckline makes my chest look huge but not in a horrible way. Lets be honest I do have a 38H bust right now so it's never going to look tiny.

The fabric is divine as it falls beautifully and twirls like magic. I'd love to see more of this or try more styles in this fabric in the future. Just look at these pleats!! They are perfect!

Styling wise I kept it simple for this look as I wanted to pair this dress with a Splendette earring that would work with the buttons. I'll be posting a review of all of these accessories soon in a more close up/portrait format.

I knew after wearing my Monte Carlo Mini Dress to death that the Hell Bunny peasant style dresses were perfect for my figure and with a little tailoring tweeks HB have blown my mind with the updated pattern in the Stawberry Sunday Mid Dress.
So what's new about this style and what differs from the Monte Carlo? Firstly this is a mid dress not a midi so it's much longer which is much more flattering on my body shape.
The bust line has been slightly adjusted with the keyhole much smaller than the Monte Carlo dress. I had issues with my bra showing in that style but as you can see that's no longer an issue with the Strawberry Sundae dress.

The verdict? It's absolutely perfect and I'm 100% in love with both the shape of this dress and the fabric. The strawberry fruit, flower and leave pattern is bold and bright and works with absolutely ever accessory, shoe and cardigan in my wardrobe.

Once you see this fabric you'll need the skirt and top as you'll never want to stop wearing it. Size wise I'm wearing a 2XL and this is super roomy due to the slight stretch in the fabric and the elasticated sleeves and neckline. I love the fit of this dress but could easily size down to the XL without issues and I think I will as I love a more firm fit at the waist and this has lots of waist room in a 2XL.

This revise style has got me super excited and I hope that there are more amazing prints released in this exact style each and every season. I'll be collecting them all if so!

Length wise the 'Mid' style hits under my knees and the print helps hide any lumps or bumps that might bother you so don't be afraid to swear this without a cover up. The elasticated sleeves have lots of give also so you can wear them on or off the shoulder.

Mistral 50's Dress - $119.99

My prayers have finally been answered and I now own a black nautical printed dress. While I love everything about nautical themed outfits I tend not to wear navy blue very often and I've been hunting for a black sailor themed dress for so very long.

The Minstral 50's dress has made my dreams come true with a bold white print of compasses and anchor print on a black background. It's those bright white features such as the neckline, bow and removable belt that make this fabric really pop.

This style features shirring elastic in the side panels to fit to your exact shape and cross back straps with buttons on the inside to adjust to your liking. The faux halter helps take off any sore neck issues as well. The 2XL is a perfect fit in this style and I can't wait to get more prints.

When paired with a bright pop of colour this dress looks absolutely amazing and my sweet sweater tied at the back was the perfect item to complete this look.

Now the question is which is on your lust list?
