Flamingo Safari

Dangerfield are killing it over the Spring/Summer season with amazing prints, stunning colours and an endless supply of cardigans. With everything from cute critters to florals, polka dots to dinos and lots of nautical goodies. So this week I wanted to share my absolute favourites from the last few releases.

When I went in store to pick up a few new pieces I has no idea that this amazing Revival dress even existed and I was actually aiming to pick up one of my go to styles but in a new print. But the stunning border print was so stunning that I just had to try it on and never take it off again.

Featuring a sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice, full skirt and shirring at the back which makes for the perfect fit. Such a flattering shape and fit for a curvy and very busty girl like myself as the shirring actually helps the bust fit you perfectly. Due to this panel there is a hidden side zip but this works to hug you in all the right places. The straps are thick enough that you'll never have any visible bra issues and it's just perfect!

I'm wearing this in an 18 and I love the fit but if you are a little less busty I'd suggest going in store and trying both your normal size and a size down just incase you like the tighter fit better. The fabric is light weight and a dream to wear on those super hot days but for this shoot I've pair this frock with a bright cardigan from the Princess Highway range and a leather cropped moto.

I wear knits from Dangerfield in a 16 and for this review I really wanted a colour to pair with both outfits and something new for me. This mustard/yellow shade is bright and super bold but I'm loving how it works with my colouring. While I love the bright pop of pink and yellow in this look I will be wearing with black cardigans more often.

With such a strong and stunning border print I needed to find the perfect shoes to match and while a black pair of pumps would be great I wanted something a little more vintage and pinup looking.

So I found these amazing Pinup Courture heels from Shoe Me in coral and black. I wear all Pleaser/Pinup Couture shoes in a size 11US and I'm an Australian size 10 or a 41. These are a great height yet super comfortable and I've been able to wear these all day without any issues.

Sticking with the yellow/gold theme I has to snap up the Out of Africa print in black and gold! I've had my eye on this stunning fabric ever since the lookbook was shot but I knew the dress and my chest would not work together. So when the skirt was released I did and little happy dance and snapped it up as soon as I could.

This stunning swing skirt is just pure magic! With that stunning and amazing swing skirt fit we have come to love and trust from Dangerfield this new season giraffe print is something that you will want to snap up and wear forever as it's a classic that you'll cherish.

The shape of this swing is perfect and the layer of tulle beneath gives it a fullness and just the right amount of shape. I'm wearing the 18 and it's firm on my waist but with just one wear it will give another inch allowing a more comfortable fit. As the weather heats up I'll be pairing this with off the shoulder crop style blouses and tanks.

This mixture of gold an black was the reason I chose the Carla Cardigan in yellow and I love how well they work together. I've also been pairing this cardi with my Dangerfield venus fly trap dress and other prints as it's very versatile.

Many thanks to the amazing Liz at L12 Photography for capturing these looks perfectly!
