While I'm currently working out my summer wardrobe, my girls across the pond are layering their winter warmers and going crazy for jackets and coats. As you know already I'm a coat collecting freak! I have trenches, bikers, boleros, capes and my casual favourite - Letterman Jackets.
My current favourite letterman jacket is the Britney from Collectif Clothing. A super warm jacket with an adorable sporty pinup style. Collectif have out done themselves with the fit of this jacket due to the crop style. This means you can pair this with jeans, shorts and skirts as it nips in at the smallest part of your waist, giving you that hour glass shape.
Featuring black and red cuffs and collar and topped off with a huge cherry motif this style will pair brilliantly with everything in my winter wardrobe. As you can see the fit is perfect. I've found that most jackets in this style can be rather boxy and shapeless but this is great for my curves. I'm wearing the Britney in a UK size 16.
There is also one very funky hidden feature to this jacket. While black and red on the outside this letterman is lined with silky leopard print fabric, making it a dream to wear.
Next year I will have my sights set on purchasing every winter jacket from Collectif! They are so wonderfully tailored and do wonders for a girl with curves. Here are a few of my favourites :

My biggest love - Check/Plaid! Lilly I need you in my life! To be paired with high waisted pants, jeans and wiggle skirts. This is my dream blazer.
Rachel Houndstooth Coat - £189.50
Then lastly the Rachel. I love the dark houndstooth, such a unique play on the more common version of this print. More super soft fur details and a waist belt to nip you in at the waist.
