The time has come for another full blown, action packed and photo filled Sourpuss review! I can't get enough of this clothing brand and after years of wearing their rocking designs I have found a few items that I can honestly say I'm addicted to. But that's enough chit chat lets get down to the nitty gritty and review!

Now this set is mainly based around my love for anything cowgirl related but I've added a few of my other favourites currently found online. Now I've searched all over the website for links to these items but some are missing and others are waiting on new stock. For any further information please contact Sourpuss directly on their Facebook Fan Page. Many other online websites stock Sourpuss so you can find these dresses on online shops and ebay just by searching the name. Never fear my lovelies you will find them!

Sourpuss Anchor Western dress in blue/black  - $50 (currently sold on on SP website)

I reviewed the first style of this dress in a previous post - Whiskey Cowgirl. Once I tried the original giddy up style on I knew this was my perfect casual/daytime dress. So when a sneaky photo was released on the Sourpuss instagram in both the anchor and sparrow print I knew they had to be mine. The Western style dress is a core item in my wardrobe. The soft and stretchy fabric means I can wear it all day and feel completely comfortable. The fabric also works in the cooler months with lots of layers and thick tights.

I wear this style in an XL and I fit it to be a perfect fit as the fabric is very stretchy. The check print and white details on this dress is what really won me over. The western motif with the additio of anchors is perfect. The dark blue shade also works perfectly with my belt collection and pairs wonderfully with black or red cardigan.s

No wonder this style is sold out on Sourpuss's website! It's one of those dresses every rockabilly/pinup lover needs.

Sourpuss Sparrow Western Dress - $50 (awaiting stock)

I love this style that much I needed it in the sparrow motif as well! This style is a little bit stretchier that the blue but still fits perfectly as you can see. The embroidered sparrows on the upper bust, red buttons and piping makes this dress really stand out. I also adore the soft gingham fabric as it's one of my all time favorite prints.

There is also the extra added feature of pockets on each hip. It's always such an awesome surprise to find a pair of pocked in a full skirted garment.

Sourpuss Hellbilly Black Dress - $59 (sold out)

A similar shape to the Western dress featured above but in a cotton/spandex fabric. With a vintage inspired bandana print this dress is now my second favorite dress style from Sourpuss. The fit on this garment is a little different as the fabric has only 5% spandex so I suggest you should size up. I usually wear an XL in this brand but for this I had to size up to the XXL.

It has some of the same features as the other western styles above such as piping, a collar and button detailing. I paired this dress with my new favourite cardigan from Heart of Haute. This is my new go to cardigan as it pairs perfectly with every dress in my wardrobe. With the Melbourne chill finally hitting us I need as many layers as possible and this is a super cute way of adding extra warmth to my summer style dresses.

While this style may be sold out online there is still heaps of stock left in the red versions as shown bellow.

After searching for the version I've reviewed I'm actually loving the red print more and will be adding it to my lust list. I usually play it safe with black and white but the red print seems to put so much more.

Now what better to pair my western dresses with than an amazing pair of vintage cowboy boots from Honey Blossom Studio. Honey Blossom is my one stop shop for all cowboy boots and the only online store I trust for true vintage styles in great condition.

With a huge selection of vintage leather cowboy boots in all shapes, sizes and colours you will find the boots of your dreams via this ETSY store. Now I featured my first pair from Honey Blossom last year and since then I've added 2 pairs to my collection. These are by far my favorite as I love the bold white stitching on the black leather and the arrow like shape at the top.

It took me a while to find the perfect fit for vintage boots but after a lot of trail and error and with stores like Honey Blossom Studio I'm 100% confident in my cowboy boots size. I wear a 10AU and have a rather normal width foot. I purchase most of my boots in a 8.5D Mens and this fits me perfectly. I tend to purchase the more narrow or pointed as it seems to fit me the best. Be sure when purchasing vintage boots to read all measurements and compare these with your own foot. I've purchased wide width mens before and they swam on me so if you have a normal foot steer clear of any shoe with 'wide' in the title.

Stop the presses! I've finally found the best combination of western and pencil skirt and I'm in love. This curve hugging pencil skirt is by the hottest skirt I've worn in years. The super stretchy nylon sits on my curves perfectly and the waist band cinches me in without any effort. For even more of an hourglass effect I will pair this skirt with a thick waist belt and add an extra bit of vavavoom to the outfit.

The white western details on the front of the skirt have made this great fitting pencil skirt into a brilliant western pinup style. I can't wait to style this with other tops, jackets and shoes.

I'm wearing the Hootenanny skirt in a size XL and it's almost like it was made for me. You can also purchase a navy and red version of this via the Sourpuss website. I think I need both in my wardrobe for next summer.

Then finally we have my two favourite accessories currently available in the Sourpuss range.

Every pinup needs a varied scarf collection and after collecting many plain colours I've started to add a few prints int the mix. The Rosie is a bright blue scarf that can be used to tie around your neck or in your hair for vintage up do's. I just love the bright pop of colour it adds to my outfit and the blue will really work with my dark red locks.

After falling for the Gin Decanter necklace I had to add the Rum version to my collection. Being a Sailor Jerry fan I thought it was only fair to add my love for Rum to my accessory stash. This vintage style decanter tag is stunning and I always draw a lot of attention when I wear it. I really do adore all of Sourpuss's accessories, so much to choose from and heaps of brilliant items to wear every day.

Many thanks to Michael Alesich for snapping these rocking shots of me in one of my favorite locations. Dead or alive our local sunflower field is awesome to capture on camera.
