Simply Effortless

Six months have passed since my last Simply Be review and to me that is six months too long.  I've gone for a few different items for my readers both in the warmer and cooler climates so hopefully you guys will love one, two or all items.

All garments from Simply Be in this review are a size 14UK.

Printed Playsuit - £40.00

I was asked recently if I ever wear playsuits so I thought this was the perfect occasion to show one off on the blog!
I was unsure of this item when I first saw the images online but the video put the cut and fit in a much better light than the product shots. I always look past how a garment looks online and to how I can style it to perfection.

This is a perfect summer playsuit as it's a light weight and soft viscose fabric. Now I would usually wear this with thigh black tights but I wanted to show you the length or the suit and how it works on my legs.

The 14 is a perfect fit across the bust, waist and hips and the fabric has very little stretch, if any at all. It ties up with a bow at the back or front of the garment in the same fabric but I opted to wear a black waist belt to break up the garment a little more. I know some curvier girls are not fans of prints such as this so adding a belt in a sold colour will add more definition to your shape and the garment.

I tend to wear them more so in winter than in summer unless it's just slothing about the house or the pool. So I'll be wearing this out now with super thick tights, boots and my new red trench coat!

I first saw this dress on the Simply Be's facebook and I wanted it straight away. The fit is a little different from what I'm use to as it is neither fitted or a-line from the bust down but I still think this is a fantastic frock. It's perfect to wear all year round either styling it as I'm showing you here or pairing it with tights, boots and layers in the cooler months.

The jersey fabric has a nice stretch and the garment is so comfortable to wear you'll not want to take it off.

How adorable is the print? Again I chose a printed garment but this time I opted for a larger print with a black base. I think this kind of print could be perfect for the office or just every day wear.

Did you notice my new Eye Doll Platforms? I've been sneaking them into shots but I wanted to give you a close up view of their brilliance!  I knew when I first slipped my foot into this style that I'd be addicted and that is exactly what has happened! I'm currently drooling over their new style very much like this called  More Of It in Orange and I'd love the Yellow Eyedoll's. Their Roll Call wedge has me swooning a little as well.

Now for something a little more suited to my Aussie readers.

Luichiny Fass in Ate Snake Print Boots - $98.95US

Now firstly I have to show you that this jacket is actually black and brown which is a really funky change from your usual PU biker styles.  It's a generous fit around the waist, bust and hips for a 14 which is great for layering and wearing thicker items this winter.

It has all the fantastic features you could want in a biker jacket - metal accents, chunky zips and pleating. At first I was a little unsure if I could rock a two tone jacket but it's gown on my big time.

I paired this with my ever so trusty American Apparel disco pants which are needing to be replaced! It will be a sad, sad day when I have to retire these amazing pants. I'm wearing the AA disco pants in a size Large.

Luichiny Fass in Ate Snake Print Boots - $98.95US

How funky are these boots? I think my disco pants and these snake skin covered awesome babies were meant for each other! These are so comfortable and really easy to walk in believe it or not. The brown and black snakeskin print turned out to be a perfect match for my outfit also.

These like all my Luichiny platforms are absolutely brilliant and compliment any outfit, sometimes even adding that missing or much needed element. This style also comes in black if your not willing to try the snake skin just yet.

Can't shop from your country?

For Australians who are wanting to pick up a few items there are many fantastic postage forwarding sites on the net that for a fee will give you an address to enter into the check out and forward on packages from stores that usually would not ship down here. Some even set up payment through paypal if you can't use your credit card.  For UK shops see - My-Uk-Mail and UK Brands Worldwide. For US - MyUS, USmail1 and US2Me.

Finally thank you to Michael Alesich from Lucky and Rice rocking all of these shots for me! Can't wait till we go shooting again and hopefully this time we won't freeze!

    1. I'm sorry Kazi but I'm unsure I was only using that image to show the jacket in colour. Try Simply Yours.

  4. Thanks for recommending these mail forwarding services, but BOTH the UK ones are super dodgy. :(

Unfortunately ukbrandsworldwide.com DO NOT ever respond to their emails, and the last time I was able to contact them, was through their Facebook mailbox, and even that doesn't work anymore.
They signed for my stuff over 300 quid worth of clothing, and won't send me the Paypal invoice, so I can pay them, and they can send me my stuff.

    So sad.
