Skulls and Stripes

It's time for all things spooky and striped! We've finally hit that bone chilling cold winter in Melbourne and I'm on the hunt for cute layers and pieces to wear on weekly rotation, keeping me looking cute and staying warm.

Skull Black White Striped Long Sleeve Top

Spiderweb White Skater Skirt

Love a high neck but don't want to be completely swallowed by a turtleneck? Let me introduce you to this little number. The perfect layering top with long sleeves, perfectly placed thumb holes so your hands are kept warm and a mock neck so you are cozy and covered with that extra length.

Made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex this top is super stretchy and hugs your body in all the right ways.  I've not had a top like this for a while in my collection so size wise I could not instantly choose. I opted for the 3XL and I'm actually finding this a little too big on the arms and waist. As I'm wearing 2XL in all the other pieces or an XL those tend to fit a lot better. I tend to automatically go up a size when a top has a bust print but this print is firmly placed and won't budge or break!

Speaking of that skull, how cute is he? I love how bold and bright this print is and how it pops! The fit and comfort level of this top is that good I'll be going back to order all of the other prints and the solid black versions with bats or spiderwebs.

Styling wise I opted for my Spiderweb Skate Skirt, some blood splatters and the perfect hand fan as I'm obsessed with their fans! I've got the hot pink version of this piece and I had to get the classic grey.

Now for a little more warmth with the coolest of fleece jackets. Usually cool and fleece rarely team up but this piece is super cute and so warm! Very much a unisex jacket this piece is a biker style with long sleeve, all black hardware and spiderweb embroidery on the collar and upper back.

The comfort levels in this jacket are out of this world! So plush and cozy and fully lined with the most adorable print of spooky bits and bobs in poly satin. Complete with two exterior pockets and one hidden within to keep your essentials hidden away. I'm wearing the XL and I find this size in mens garments aways fits my hips and bust with ease.

Let's take a moment to fall in love with this light great spiderweb detailing on the back as swell as the collar. This really pops out and I can't wait to wear this with my hair up and show it off. But honestly, it's going to be a fight for who get's to wear this and my husband is in love with it as as well.

Adding a nother oversized sweater to my overloaded collection because you can NEVER have too many comfy just throw on items that make you feel and look fab! As you can see purely by this post alone I've got a little obsession with stripes and I was instantly drawn to this sweater as it's got that little extra edge with the intentionally messy stripe print. The perfect mix of goth and punk rock complete with thumb holes and a super relaxed fit. I'm in the 2XL and it's a real oversized style.

I can't get enough of this sweater and how easy it is to style with anything from skinny jeans, shorts and tights and pencil skirts. Please note this is not a super think sweater so layering with an extra top is advised for super cold weather.

I've paired this with the Skele-Bone Capri Legging's in black and white. These are super stretchy, high waisted and fit like a dream in the 2XL with a little wiggle room. I love the bright pop of pearly white leg bones and how they pair with this sweater. For an extra little addition of colour I added my favourite purple pumps and I adore this full outfit.

Now let's chat accessories! I've been smitten with every bow Kreepsville 666 create and for these looks I went with a little punk rock and a little blood splatter.

How adorable is this bloody satin bow complete with a tiny little cleaver? This is double satin, bright and once in won't budge thanks large metal barrette clip! I've popped this on the top right in front of my ponytail but it looks just as cute worn at the back of the head with a half up/half down style look.

Lastly as classic bow reimagined in the most punk rock way possible. Skulls, eyelets, pyramid studs and piercings! All added to a faux leather medium sized bow. This piece has the same classic strong barrette clip and looks perfect in front, in back on even worn on the side!

I can't get enough of each and every piece from this shoot. Do you have anything on your Kreepsville Lust List currently?
