Every time Blackmilk Clothing releases their Museum pieces, my heart flutters knowing some of the most loved pieces I've missed out on are coming back! It's my second chance to snap up fashion perfection, and I could not go past two very Teer pieces from this release.
Dramatic bell sleeves that inspire the most Stevie Nicks poses, burned velvet kitty cats printed all over and a dramatic sweetheart neckline to give perfect cleavage - I'm in LOVE!!!!! This piece was made for my shape and lets face it, my obessions.
A perfect gothic piece that fits like a dream in the XL and also gives you extra support with a fully lined bodice. I'm usually not a fan of the burned velvet pieces unless the print itself is a must-have and I can't go past these adorable little black cats!
These sleeves are the perfect length and amount of bell size as they just hit my fingertips and flow beautifully. I may have spent most of the time on this shoot flouncing about and being very witchy, but how could I not with a stunning piece like this?
I've paired this with my
Route 66 Ultra High Waisted Skater Skirt, and I love how the fabrics mix together perfectly. To break up the all black, I've also added a chunk silver chain and skull belt from Killstar.
I also adore that the bodice is fully lined so it really does hold you in, create a perfect shape and bustline while being really supportive as well. I've been wearing this with a bra, but it could easily hold up a smaller bust with just a bralette! There is nothing better than tops that give you that option!
I've been slightly obsessed with all of Blackmilk's Bishop Longline Dresses for a while now as they just seem to work perfectly on my shape. So when I saw the Waiting in the Wings version was back I needed to snap this up immediately.
This print was made for curves! The bordering illustrations, focus on printed visuals and then solid black areas really make a curvy body shape pop! The choice of print in specific areas draws the eye to your waistline, frames and neckline and looks stunning.
I'm wearing this piece in an XL, and it's rather roomy, but I'd not choose to size down as the velvet fabric can warp a print if it's slightly too tight. I want that stunning bird to be perfectly seen and not morphed by boobs!
I've already worn this piece over the past weekend, and it's so comfy, so flattering and perfect for layering in the chilly Melbourne winter. Pairing this with tights and knee-high boots, it's going to be my go-to when I want to look effortlessly put together.
