Honestly, nothing beats a slow Saturday morning fueled by caffeine, wandering through an old cemetery, and bringing some dramatic fashion concepts to life. This week I had the pleasure of modeling two of the most divine pieces from Lana Rose Clothing, showcasing that perfect mix of gothic and pinup styling.
A little while I discovered a stunning coffin swing dress from Weasel Wear but I had no idea that this delicious blood wine red swing version even existed. Let me introduce you too and absolutely gush over the Gabriela!
Created with a street cotton sateen this deep scooped neckline is a large chested girls best friend. The bodice is boned to create amazing structure, lift and cleavage. Lacing at the rear plus fully adjustable straps so you can tweek the fit to suit your shape perfectly. No bras needed!
The fitted bodice creates bold shape then flares out to a swing style skirt, creating a perfect hourglass shape. You'll also find a large red embroidered cross in the middle of the bust add that extra little piece of perfection.
I'm wearing this piece in a XXL and the fit is amazing. The soft cotton sateen is super lightweight and the corset lacing means that it can be tailored to suit my shape with all ups and downs. I did find that both dresses are a little large in this shoot so I'd be looking to go down to the XL in future purchases.
But right now. this fit and bust loving neckline really have me swooning. Styling is simple as this dress is the star. A simple bolero and an extra gothic cross charm to compliment the neckline and straps.
A corseted swing dress covered in sparkling spiderwebs - have you ever seen anything this divine in you life? I've been in LUST with the Glamour Ghoul wiggle for so long now and when the swing version was released it was obviously fate! What's a spider/spiderweb loving girl supposed to do? Obviously it was a must have!
A 1950's style fitted bodice and circle skirt combo that will make you feel like a spooky goddess. Made from firm yet stretchy cotton ponte this fabric holds you in and flatters your curves.The corseted back gives you that itty bitty waistline and can be full adjusted just like the removable straps.
While this dress is phenomenal on it's own the extra added sparkle of rhinestone spiderweb embellishments make this absolutely POP! These catch the light and sparkle like crazy, making a stunning sweetheart swing style dress extra magical. Now like the previous style I'm not wearing a bra. The support and structure gives great support and the straps can be removed to create a strapless dress!
