Autumn has hit, so my obsession with layers is back in full swing! I'm currently on the lookout for an office-based role, so I've added a few new pieces to my collection that will be perfect for the office over the next few months. Luckily, my beloved Blackmilk have some new and restocked pieces that are perfect for a casual office wardrobe!
A long oversized cardi is the perfect item for layering over just about everything in your wardrobe. From dresses to skirts, jeans or tailored pants - the styling options are endless. So with this in mind I wanted to show my favourite ways to style the Super cardigan.
This lightweight oversized knit cardigan is perfection. With long sleeves and lots of length and coverage. I'm wearing the XL/XXL, and it's easy to wear open or closed with a waist belt. It has lots of room for layering and is super soft. I've fallen in love with cardigans like this before, but now I'm fully obsessed with the super style and need the other two colourways: a rich dark red and purple.
I've been collecting the toastie skater dresses for years now, and they are my go-to must-haves for the cooler months. With a perfectly cosy and warming inner fabric and the super flattering skater fit, they look amazing dressed up or down.
The long sleeve, the skirt length, and the boob-friendly neckline suit my body perfectly in the XL, and I had to get this red tartan version when it was restocked. I've got snakes, yellow plaid, deathmoths and more in this exact style and I'm forever getting compliments when I wear out.
I adore the way this pairs with the cardigan, and I can't wait to wear this with thick black tights, lace-up leather boots and the new cardigan. For a waist belt, I went with the Renaissance-style Hemslayer belt, which is not even living up to its full glory in this shoot. My intention was to show it fully by gather up my dress up, but this is a little too short to fully show the effect. So be sure to look out for it in more mystical shoots coming up! This piece fastens with a knot so you can accommodate multiple waistlines, and with the removal rind detailing easily fits your skirt to create an otherworldly and dramatic Renfair like style.
But with this red plaid, the vegan leather, knots and silver accents give a much more cut punk edge to the outfit, and I adore it.
Sticking with the bright ruby red theme, but for this look I wanted to go with separates and show just how cute and versatile this cardigan is. A bold stripe, a pop of red from the skater skirt and a classic black cardigan, and you have the most comfy and cute office look ever!
I'm forever pairing mine with thick winter tights and cropped knits in the winter and then my favourite vintage tees in the summer.
Which is your favourite look with this amazing cardigan? Are you loving the skater skirt or dress?
