This week I've got the most perfect looks to keep you cool and comfy this summer. From floral mini dresses to sleek separates, I've tried and tested these pieces so you can shop with confidence.
When it comes to summer dresses I'm rather obsessed with City Chic. I've got some of the cutest little floral numbers in my collection that I wear weekly and all year round. For this order, though I wanted to try a floral that was a little out of my comfort zone. I usually gravitate to black-based prints but this little mini in Blue Meadow won my heart.
So blue tones mixed with stunning florals, this piece is already a favourite. I'm wearing this cotton mini dress in a 16/S and it's a perfect fit with sheering at the back and shoulders that can be worn up or off the shoulder.
This piece also has pockets! Could it get any better? Now I usually find their summer minis have a little more of an aline skirt but this dress is more box-shaped in the skirt than what I'm used to. Not to worry though as it looks amazing on.
I love these colours so much! They're already inspiring me to wear my blue over the summer months.
Now for the softest and most delicate of little black dresses. Eloise is a stunner! With a gathered bust, puff sleeves, a self-tie waist, and full circle skirt this dress is the perfect black dress for hot summer nights. The fabric is a dream to wear and it's super figure flattering.
I noticed the waist looked very firm on the model in the product images so I opted to go up to an 18/M in this piece. It has very limited give so if you are super busty like myself I'd suggest ordering up in this style or the navy version.
This is most definitely a date night dress and I can't wait to wear it many times over the summer.
What's this? Teer in a cargo skirt? Me in Cargo anything - what is the world coming to? Well believe it or not I'm absolutely 100% head over heels for the Cargo Halo mini skirt! This is rare for me I know but the fit on this skirt is perfect!
I'm wearing this in the 16/S and the fit is super comfy and flattering. I've added the above blown-out image to show you all of the detailing as it has cargo pockets on each side plus a zip and button closure. This is a mini length but I've tested this walking about, and shopping and you don't get any butt cheeks popping out. I'll be pairing this with band tees all summer long and layering with tights and jumpers in the cooler months.
I've paired this mini with the most easy, breezy shirt I've ever owned. The Izzy shirt is an oversized fitting, cropped button-up that drapes perfectly.
If you are looking for an effortlessly chic top that pairs perfectly with all high-waisted garments then the Izzy is for you. I'm wearing this in my usual 16/S and it's roomy, breathes beautifully and I instantly need the white version.
I'm smitten with everything in this review and I can't wait to share my next festive looks with you very, very soon!
