Just a very quick, photo-packed travel look review as I pack my bags and travel to Queensland for a minibreak. With warmer weather and flaunting my curves in mind, I snapped up 3 amazing new pieces to wear while interstate.
Yeah, so I have a full-blown City Chic playsuit addiction but can you blame me? They fit like a dream, make my curves POP and I feel freaking amazing in them.
The Briar Playsuit called to me with its statement sleeves, bold gold buttons, and resort chic vibes. A classic piece tailored to fit a plus-size body with ease and flatter the hell out of it. Complete with drawstring waist and hidden pockets.
I'm wearing this playsuit in a 16/S and it's a really comfy fit. I usually have to size up in all brands when it comes to playsuits but this is perfect! My long torso usually gives me grief but it's perfect in this piece.
I can't show playsuit without a rear view and as you can see it's just as flattering as the front. I know I will be living in this piece all summer long! Look at that shape and those sleeves.
Now for two pieces I can mix and match with everything I pack for the trip. The Roller Stripe is a classic long tee, soft and lacking in any real curve-hugging shape but with a simple front tie, I can turn this piece into a very Teer friendly style.
I'm going through my crop top state it seems and I really love how this tee works when shortened. The stripe is also really funky as it's not just a straight-up black-and-white stripe. The subtle grey stripe in between offers an almost optical illusion.
Lastly the Amina Frill shorts! These little booty shorts come disguised as a frilly mini skirt in deep dark navy denim.
A skort creation with the most divine and flattering fit! I'm wearing the 18/M as I thought they had little to no stretch but they are slightly too big. I'll be getting them taken in one size once I'm back from my trip and living in them all summer long. Pairing these with crops or band tees will be my uniform.
So cute, so flattering and just the right amount of coverage. I adore every pair of shorts I get from City Chic and can't wait to wear them when the weather warms up.
