Prowess

This past weekend I packed my latest Thistle and Spire pieces and headed into the woodlands to get a little spooky. The newest arrivals inspired me to get a little dark and creative, so capes and cloaks were a must-have. Remember to use the code TEERWAYDE10 to get 10% off your order!

I'm wearing each piece in a 2XL or it's the equivalent size. I'm forever learning about my perfect Thistle and Spire fit so I'll be able to update you on what works and maybe does not fully work for my shape.

Holy hell! I've never had love for a bra as much as I have for the Prowess! This is a boned, underwired bra with amazing support, cut-out detailing, thick traps, and the most divine charcoal leopard print.

From the Deep plunge to the little cutout features this piece is unique and honestly perfect to wear. I'm in the 2XL and the fit is great for but bust size. As I'm a 38HH it's hard to go for a generic size but all of my breast tissue fits in this piece. I'm wearing this on the tightest hook however but I feel like sizing down would give me less cup room.

The Prowess pieces on their own are perfect. The brief's cut-out hip detailing and stretch equate to pure comfort. I find the 2XL in the brief really well-fitting. But for this shoot, I wanted to add something extra with the Paramount Garter.

I love the straps, crisscross visuals, and all of these shapes! This garter belt is great as it's super stretchy, and light and does not show beneath clothing. Plus it looks HOT AF!

Just look at that fabric! I never knew I'd love leopard print in charcoal but his piece has blown my mind.

Obviously, for extra spooky styling, I needed to add a sheer floor-length hooded cloak. I had way too much fun wearing his in the woods! Although I might have freaked out some bike riders!

This is by far my favourite set from Thistle and Spire and I hope to see more bras like this in the future.

Now for the set of the century - the Arcana! This range is hot and flying off the shelves. The one-of-a-kind tarot-inspired printed stretch mesh and purl hem are both dreamy and strong

I feel like a mystical goddess in each and every piece from this range and the fabric and print are works of art.

This range is a lot more forgiving fit-wise. I'm wearing the 2XL/3XL and from wearing all 4 pieces I can confidently say I ordered a size too big! The fabric is stretchy but it does not ruin the print which is amazing. I just found that the size I'm wearing even when tied up tightly tends to fall down on me.

I'm wearing the Shrug, Bralette, Thong, and Stockings. Now putting each of these pieces on is a skill. I swear my poor husband thinks I keep ordering more and more advanced/technically challenging undergarments just to confuse them. But I just love the visuals of such intricate pieces.

These pieces fit so softly that you'll feel like you are wearing nothing! Please note that there is limited support in the bralette so don't expect epic lift. This is all about comfort and celebrating this amazing pint.

I had to pair this print with one of my goddess-inspired gold crowns, a leather cape, and nothing else! Size wise I finally think I have more of a hang of how my body fits into these garments now.

For limited stretch or boning/underwire bras, I will always be a 2XL, the same applies to the bottoms if detailed and restrictive fabrics. For hipster-style bottoms that look very roomy, I should size down to a 1XL. If garments tie at the side or if I'm ordering a Bodysuit that's a halter neck I'll go down a size! I've cracked the code!
