Caped

City Chic, you have blown my mind this winter with some of the most divine faux leather pieces ever released! From Barbie pink minis to dresses, curvy girls around the world are rejoicing!

Personally, I'm madly in love with this stunning little faux leather wrap dress. I was not 100% sold on the fit when I found this online but the wrap feature made me think that it would be perfect on an hourglass shape. The ability to move the fabric as required and really hug those curves meant it was a must-have.

I'm wearing this in the 16/S and the fit is perfect! Roomy sleeves, the perfect length (hits under the booty and mid-thigh), and being fully lined it is soft and comfy. The faux leather fabric is almost buttery soft as well, a dream to wear!

Incase you can't tell it's also rather flattering on the boobies. The sweetheart neckline is perfection as it shapes and really makes your cleavage pop.

Want to add an element of chic sophistication to any look - get a cape! This is my second City Chic cape and I'm living it. Effortless, so easy to wear and style, this piece is iconic!

Size wise these are worn open so you can easily size down. I'm wearing the 16/S and the fit is perfect. If you are looking for a more fitted look a 14 would be just as well fitted on me but smaller across the back.

I'm obsessed with this full look and can't wait to wear it out paired with tights and my go-to CC boots.

Now for something a little more casual but just as cute! For this post, I wanted to share both a night and daytime look. For the more casual styling, I paired the stunning cape with the red velvet high-waisted Nora shorts and the Grace Jumper.

This is a perfect little outfit for winter lunch dates, shopping, or anything you want! I'm wearing both the shorts and jumper in a 16/S and the fit is great. The jumper is super stretchy and can be worn tucked (as shown) or untucked. The bottle of the jumper is a solid black stretchy fabric while the tip is a faux wrap with contrasting cuffs.

The shorts however have very limited stretch but I love the fit. Being not so much of a bling fan I took one of the buttons off at the waist and when possible I'll replace them fully with some bold black heart buttons.

I really love the fit of these shorts and how the pleats hide any problem areas. What's your favourite piece from this shoot?
