The Perfect Date

Instantly when I created that title Miss Congeniality popped into my head! But that's not the theme for this post, haha. Today I'm featuring 3 of the cutest City Chic dresses that are perfect for date night or date day. While you are shopping at City Chic please feel free to use my code TEER10 for 10% off your entire order - one-time use per customer and expires on the 23rd of April 2023.

This adorable little floral and polka dot printed mini dress is perfect for a picnic date! Soft flowing fabric with a flattering neckline, structured bodice, and ruffle details - this mini has it all.

I'm forever a sucker for a cute little floral dress as I love its versatility. You can wear them in the warmer months as is and then layer these with cardies, coats, stockings, and gloves once the weather cools.

I'm wearing this particular style in my usual 16/S from City Chic and the fit is actually rather roomy. With the elasticated back panel, you can easily size down if you are between sizes. This is a very free flowing and aline skirt so no matter what size your hips are you'll be comfy.

I can't wait to wear this piece all year round and here's hoping that City chic releases more prints in this exact style as I'll fill my wardrobe with them.

Now for a little more coverage on the arms and a lot more cleavage and legs! The Georgia caught my eye instantly as I love the sleeves, flowing fabric, and faux wrap styling. A faux wrap or wrap always hugs my curves in all the right ways and Georgia has me swooning.

I'm wearing the 16/S and the fit is perfect. With the right arm room, bust, and a more fitted ruffle-style skirt. I'm usually not a fan of navy but there is something magical about this little mini dress and I had to have it.

Now for date night! The perfect LBD wiggle exists and this is it! Perfect constructed this piece features a sweetheart neckline, a flattering detailed bodice, and curve-hugging ruching.

The bodice of this piece is boned so you have an extra level of shaping. This hugs your curves in all the right places and the ruching really hides any imperfections you may not be fond of.

The fit of this wiggle is really comfortable and the structure aspect is only mild so you won't have any boning popping into your waist etc. I adore the sleeves and the bustline and I'm wearing this for one of my birthday celebrations this week.

Styling wise I wanted to be simple so I've just added a thin maroon velvet belt to cinch in my waist. I'd usually go for something thinker but with all the detailing within this piece, I want to make the dress shine brightly.

Now depending on your bust size, you can easily size down in this piece. Because of my cup size, I'm sticking with the 16/S as the cups will look too odd if I was wearing a size smaller.

What Date dress is calling your name? To end this review I had to pop in my original thought!
