Curves to Kill...: Absolute Essentials

I was searching the Blackmilk Clothing XL hashtag over the last few weeks and I could not find a great number of tops on curvy bodies! Lots of dresses, and heaps of leggings but not many essential and awesome items for your top half.

Obviously, I needed to rectify this and I ordered 3 awesome essential pieces that rock with leggings and skirts.

For this shoot, I wanted to go with exactly how I'd style these daily. Be it to work or just out casually.

The Dance Teacher Top

A classic piece that everyone needs in their year-round wardrobe is the Dance Teacher Top. A super lightweight draped batwing top with fitted cuffs and waist. Such a soft and flowy fabric this piece pairs with so many looks.

I'm wearing this in the XL and the fit is phenomenal with lots of shape at the waist and roomy billowing sleeves and bust. This piece is perfect for any season and can be styled with anything high-waisted.

For this set of images, I went with one of my favourite serial killer skater skirts and it's a perfect match.

I can't wait to style this with high-waisted wide-leg pants and shorts as the weather warms up.

Cosy Zip Front Cardigan

Next is the most chic athletic style cardigan I've ever worn! I was not 100% about this piece as I was worried it might look a little to gym like for my personal style but once I zipped myself in I was instantly in love.

Made from the softest fabric and super toasty this piece is my current go to item as we still have super chilly mornings here in Melbourne. With a high neckline, bishop sleeves and a curve-hugging fit this piece doubles as a cute little mini dress and look amazing over leggings.

Fleece-lined for extra comfort this jacket/cardigan is so comfy and warm. The double ended zip means you can unzip this item from the bottom or top and show as much skin as you want.

I Eat Flies Business Time Shirt

Star Studded HW Leggings

I swear I will own each and everything I EAT FLIES related that Blackmilk ever creates. I've got such a love for Venus Fly Traps and this print is so bright and beautiful.

When I was on the hunt for legging friendly tops I instantly knew the Business Time Shirt was a must-have. Flowing fabric, super light yet shapely this piece is effortlessly chic when styled with my high waisted stunning faux leather leggings and a moto.

Size wise I've not owned this fabric before and I opted for the XXL but it's a little too loose so I'd be an XL from now on. But this button-up fits my huge chest really well and can be styled in a million ways.

My styling for the shirt is 100% my daily look and I love the rock and roll horror vibes it's giving off. I'm wearing these leggings in an XL and they are perfection.
