Dead Dancer

Have you ever been so inspired by a piece of clothing that you've created that exact vision in your head for the complete look? Well, my latest Blackmilk Clothing arrivals did exactly that.

I'm forever in love with flowing fabrics, built-in gloves/sleeves and hoods. There was something that instantly drew me into the Dead Dancer dress and I knew from the start how I wanted to capture it. This midi dress was giving me an almost apocalyptic vibe and I wanted to fully embrace that.

Made from the softest of stretch cotton this dress is the perfect fit in my usual Black Milk size of XL. So effortless to wear while really making a statement. I've paired this dress with the BM-Chained Up Belt in the largest size and my Camel-30 Demonia thigh-high boots.

ps. My boots are plus size Demonias and they have heaps or room in the thigh area, that much I only have to zip in and out and not even touch the laces.

I can't wait to style this throughout winter and later with moto jackets and more boots. This style is perfect for layering when the weather cools down.

I've wanted to try these bad boys for a while now but I was worried my booty might be a little too much for the faux leather. Turns out they are freaking fantastic!! I opted for a size up to the XXL in the Biker shorts as I find at times they can fit tighter and I wanted more length on the legs.

The XXL does fit great but I have heaps or roomy at the waist. The length is perfect though and I'll be wearing these with my sporty stripes tights all winter long. The fabric is not summer-friendly if you overheat so take that into account when styling.

I've paired these with my favourite raglan from Artist First and the boots once again. This is a new version of my everyday uniform and I kinda love it.

Could not forget to include a token booty shot. These really do make your rump look fantastic.

Now for leopard print and faux leather. Could there be a more perfect combo? I've had my eye on the Claws Out dress for a while now but did not know if I could pull it off. You see this style has a really low back and I always need a bra. But then a photo of this little peasant style dress popped up paired with the buckle corset and my concerns flew away.

I'm wearing both pieces here in an XL and holy hell they are perfect! Fully adjustable to really hug my curves and flatter my shape. The dress is light, soft and a dream to wear.

The corset has a bold rear zip and fully adjustable buckles to cinch you in a little more if need be. I ADORE the way this makes my waist and chest look and I can't wait to get my hands on every single Blackmilk corset ever released.

What's your favourite look?
