True Crime, Bats and a Pizza Party?

True Crime Skater Skirt

My obsession for serial killers and true crime can now be worn proudly in skirt and dress form. When Sourpuss released the Serial Killer overnight bag and purse I instantly got my hands on the larger of the two. I knew that I'd be using it constantly and it's now become of my go to pieces for shoots or travel. 

So when I was given the sneaky previews of what samples were on their way to me I was over the moon to see that my favourite print was now in skirt form. The perfect skater style with a nice thick waistband to define your shape and hidden pockets.

The waist is elastic on this piece so it's super stretchy and comfortable. Covered in all kinds of true crime/killer items this red based print really pops! I'm wearing the 2XL and the fit is really comfy. I've worn this for hours and hours sitting down and the fit stays perfect without any bending of the waist band etc. 

Styling wise I actually wanted to pair this with a simple black bodysuit but I could not find one in my collection. So my Killstar crop came in super handy. 

Luna Bats Skater Skirt 

From one awesome skater to another! After falling in LOVE with the serial killer print it was obvious that I'd also adore the black and white Luna bats printed version. So bold! So cute and so easy to style with everything in my wardrobe!

The same fit and style as the previous item piece in the 2XL. If you are in-between sizes or just a smidgen over you can easily size down in these skirts as they have a whole lotta stretch. 

The length of these skirts is also perfect. So often I find that a skater can be way too short and just end up showing my knickers but these hit above the knee creating a really lovely shape. 

True Crime Skater Dress 

Yes you did read correctly at the start of this post I have my favourite print in the skater dress style as well! The classic skater style with hidden pockets for all the snacks. I'm obsessed with this dress and I've been wearing it to death. 

It's super comfortable, so easy to wear all day and really shows off my personality. The bold print really pops and the darker shade or really is really lovely. While this does not come with a waist belt I wanted to add my own in order to define my midsection more. 

Size wise as with the skirts I'm in a 2XL and the fit is phenomenal. I highly recommend not sizing down for this fabric though as the tighter it gets the lighter the print becomes.

Honestly I can't praise this piece enough. I feel like I need to by a few more so I'll never have to live without it. 

Just look at that print! It's rotten and adorable all mixed into one dress!!! I love it! 

VAMP Raglan Skater Dress

Sourpuss introduced me to the best raglan skater style a few Halloweens ago and ever since I've been wanting to ad another to my collection. I'm such a sucker for the baseball/raglan style construction and when turned into a flirty little skater my heart just melts. 

The vamp inspired by Blondie embodies absolutely everything I could want or need in a casual dress. Perfect fit, bright pops of colour and a funky print.

I've owned the Vamp lipstick enamel pin for a while now so when I saw this version on bright yellow I really needed in my world. 

Now when I wore the first raglan dress I found it to be a tiny bit short for me with a little bit of booty popping out. This version however is perfect and everything is covered. 

Pizza Party skater dress 

If you absolutely adore pizza why not wear it with pride? That's exactly what I'm doing with the uber cheesy pizza printed skater! 

It's the little details in this print that I adore. The skulls on each piece, the cheese drips joining each and ever slice etc. Plus the fit is perfection. Super comfy and effortless to wear! Just pop this on with your moto and a pair of flats and you're good go! 

Now the goal is to got out and eat pizza in this dress ASAP! Simply I know but it obviously needs to be done.

Luna Bats Cropped Hoodie 

Lastly a piece I plan to live in all winter!!! The amazing Luna Bats print in a cropped hoodie, perfect for layering casually through the cooler months. 

I adore hoodies and love having the option of a cropped style to pair with swing or skater skirts, high waisted options etc. The fit on this piece in an XXL is roomy so if you want a more fitted look I'd size down. 

 I honestly can't get enough of all of these pieces and it's been an honor to shoot for Sourpuss through 2020/21! Can't wait for more styles, more looks and more prints!!
