Have you discovered the Curvy Kitten range from Bonsai Kitten yet? All of your favourite prints and styles in sizes 18 to 24. I'm here to give you a full run down of the fit, fabrics and sizing so you can get the best possible fit on each and every item.

Now I've tried a variety of sizes for this shoot so you can get an idea of exactly how the fabrics stretch or don't. That's the one thing I want to know whenever I shop online as the stretchy element of each piece determines if I can size down or not. I've also shot each piece with and without a skirt so you can see the full fit and features of each blouse.

Wednesday Addams Peter pan top - $65.00

Yellow polkadot circle pinafore plus - $89.00

If you want me to instantly swoon, just give me a bold peter pan collar on a Wednesday Adams style top. I could live in this style day in and day out as it's both adorable and super flattering for a curvy and busty girl like myself.

The Wednesday Adams blouse in black and white is the sweetest and let's face it cutest little number I own right now! The contrasting collar, peephole with a bow and cuffs really pop on the soft and stretchy cotton/viscose/lycra fabric. This fabric is used on most of my Bonsai Kitten tops and the comfort level is out of this world.

I'm wearing a size 18 in this style, and I find the fit in the arms to be perfect as well as the bust with lots of wiggle room at the waist. Perfect to style both tucked and untucked with so many different skirts, pants, shorts, etc.

I've paired this adorable black and white number with the dreamy Yellow Polkadot circle skirt! I'm absolutely crazy for all things yellow, and I've always dreamed of owning a bright yellow or mustard dot print. Thankfully Bonsai Kitten have made this dream a reality and I'm in love.

Figure flattering, light, comfortable and an absolute joy to wear this skirt features a hip skimming circle style skirt, adjustable straps and bold black faux button features. The simple combination of yellow and black is unique, adorable and really pops.

Size wise I'm actually wearing a 14 in this piece as the stretch in the fabric is epic and does not morph the print in any way. I was shocked with just how well this piece fit my waist in 2 sizes smaller than usual. But as you can see the fit is perfect and I can't wait to style this piece all year round.

Black Skater pinafore plus - $89.00

A little while ago I reviewed the spooky themed Horror Vixen pussy bow tops in both black and green. I've always been a huge fan of all of Bonsai Kitten's pussy bow styles but until this past year I'd never tired the shorter sleeve versions. I'm sold as they are freaking adorable!

I'm wearing both this ruby red version and the black in size 16's which are an amazing fit everywhere but a wee bit tight on my upper arms so I'd be more comfortable in the 18 in the future. My rule for all of the Bonsai Kitten tops is - 16 for long or 3/4 length sleeves and 18 for shorter more fitted style sleeves. So if you have a larger upper up be sure to look at the sleeve and choose from there.

The bright retro red pussy bow perfectly pairs with the Black Skater pini! Forever a dream comboination red and black always pack a pop!

Now let's chat about the skirt. A little shorter than the circle skirt this skater pinafore is super flattering on your waist and hips as it hugs you at the small of your waist then skims over you hips, hitting you just above the knee.

A perfect go to piece to pair with each and every blouse, crop or tee from your wardrobe. I tend to live in pinafore styles these days, so I'm excited to have a few more fit and fabric options to choose from. Size wise I'm wearing the 16 in this piece and it's stretchy but not as much as the yellow circle skirt. The fabric is super lightweight so this will be amazing in the summer heat and I can't wait to pair this with off the shoulder blouses all summer long.

Classic black short sleeve pussybow top - $65.00

Alice Bib pinafore - $89.00

Now for the classic big style pini! Sometimes there is nothing better than the classic/traditional style pinafore in an amazing print. The Alice Bib skirt is a picture perfect and super sweet style that pops in black and red.

Made from a poly cotton mix this fabric is thicker and much less stretchy than the previous two skirts. So I'm wearing this specific style in a size 18 as there is little to no stretch at the waist. I've only discovered that I can rock this bib style over the last year, and I love how well it works with my bust.

The fit is superb with a defined waist and the perfect mini length. I've paired this pini with the black version of the classic pussy bow top and I love how easy this is to style with each and every piece shown. You can tie the bow to either size, let it hang down for a more relaxed look or even place it at the back if you want to show a bit more skin. It's like 3 tops for the price of one!

I honestly can't get enough of these tops and will be forever adding different colour ways, prints and sleeve lengths to my collection as they are so versatile.

Each and every style at Bonsai Kitten seems to make swoon and I think I'll be filling my wardrobe asap!
