A little gingham and Lipstick

It's been forever and a day since I've shot any amazing Voodoo Vixen pieces so today I'm sharing my two favourite pieces from their latest season. This is part one of two reviews as I also have an amazing capri overalls look to share in a future post!

Sadie Black Gingham Top - £17.00

I first noticed the Sadie top in catalogue previews and instantly fell in love with the bold gingham print, ruffles and keyhole bust. The perfect peasant top with the perfect combination of retro styling and modern tailoring to create that perfect fit.

A cropped style featuring and elasticated waist and sleeve which hug your curves and the perfect way. This elastic waist means you have room to move so it's a perfect bottomless brunch look. I'm usually not 100% a crop top kind of girl but there is something so magical about the Sadie.

The classic gingham pairs perfectly with everything in my wardrobe and I can't wait till warmer weather hits so I can have this on high rotation. The Sadie is also set to be released as a black and red version which would be even more perfect!

I'm wearing this style in a size XXL or UK16 and the fit is really comfortable, boobie accommodating and although the actual fabric has limited stretch.

My second piece from Voodoo Vixen is the Gianna cardigan. I'm a sucker for a simple and chic black cardi but the Gianna is currently rocking my mind with the bright red embroidered lipstick motif. These adorable little lippies feature on the front of this cardigan and pair perfectly with the matching red buttons.

Made from a super stretchy summer weight knit this piece is going to be worn like crazy over flirty summer frocks. Above the elbow length sleeve also offers a little coverage without being too over the top.

I'm wearing this in an XXL/16UK and it's brilliant buttoned up, tied in a knot under your bust or worn open. This lipstick embroidered look is used in a few more pieces throughout latest range so if you are super smitten with the look be sure to check out other pieces.

I just adore both of these amazing pieces and I can't wait to show you my next Voodoo Vixen shoot! It's a new piece for me and I never knew I could pull it off!
