Dreaming of a snow covered Christmas

Earlier this week I gave a little preview of one of my Christmas looks but now I'm going to unleash 4 stunning Hell Bunny pieces that you will need in your wardrobe next month. Presenting my Top 4 Christmas Clothing Essentials!

Hell Bunny absolutely rock it each and every season but there is something magical about their Christmas prints, fabrics and styles. It must be the opposite seasons as they make me dream of a snow covered Christmas in a much cooler climate. Rich velvet in deep dark green, stunning festive florals and a border print of a very well known wooden toy.

I snuck this lush little number into my most recent Erstwilder photo shoot as the plus heather green velvet was the perfect base for my Christmas accessories. This stunning green mini dress is a skater dress lovers dream. Hitting you just above the knee and featuring a ornament embroided peter pan collar, glitter bow, faux buttons and 3/4 length sleeves.

I'm wearing the Nicola in a 2XL and there is heaps of room. This stretch velvet is super roomy, stretches up to another full size and really compliments a curvy figure. The rich fabric also pairs perfectly with the crisp whiteness of the collar.

What I love most about this style of dress is the way they fit my bust and waist. Most dresses can hit your bust but then just fall over your waistline and hide all shape. This style is fitted until the true waist and then the skirt just skims your hips - so flattering.

I recently wore this out all day on a relatively warm Aussie spring day and I did not melt! So this fabric really impressed me. Maybe I can swing it for a full Christmas look if we hit under 30 in Melbourne!

Jennie 50s Skirt - £38.99

If you've not noticed by now I'm rather addicted to each and every shade of red. So from the moment I saw the Jennie 50's skirt in the classic red winter florals & berries on ivory background I knew exactly how I wanted to style it.

A perfect  winter floral almost snow floral print that's perfect for that winter wonderland look while being lightweight enough to wear on a super warm day.

This style comes with it's own red velvet thin belt and I love how it breaks up the white print and really emphases your waist. I'm wearing a 2XL which is my go to size in items like this which have limted or no stretch. The fit is great and I can't wait to start wearing this to work next month.

I've styled this Jennie with my red MAK cardigan, complimenting white and red rose crown, black heels from Shoe Me and some more Miz Smitten Kitten accessories - a brooch and big green hoops. The colours featured in the fabric make it so easy to pair  both tops and accessories with it.

Charlotte Dress - £57.99

Oh my gosh Teer's showing her arms? I know right, I'm always hiding them but for this outfit I needed to show the super cute crop sleeve. The charlotte dress is a super sweet sheer cherry blossom printed fabric with a pussy bow, ruffled bust and swing skirt.

Fitted at the waist and comprising on a sheer dress and black underdress this piece is the perfect breezy style for a Christmas  beach party!

Offering a little more coverage over the bust and a pussy bow tie - Oh how I adore these! The crop sleeve has a elasticated cuff so it will fit most upper arm sizes as it has some give. I'm wearing this in a 2XL and the fit is 100% Perfect! I would not change anything about it and I'm loving how much it flatters my figure, accentuating all my favourite areas and hitting me just at the top of my knees.

How stunning is this print? I've never seen a mixture of cherries and cherry blossoms in one fabric and I'm loving it. I can't wait to pair this  with all of my red and black cardigans and maybe even an emerald green wrap sweater. This style will be perfect all year round as you just need to add more layers in the cooler months.

Lastly a colour pallet we'd usually now associate with Christmas. I love the combination or navy, gold and red but I've never thought of these as very specific festive colours. But when you combine these shades with a stunning vintage Nutcracker border print and lots of gold stars, when then you magic.

The extra element of sparkle in this print comes from the gold metal finish almost like a gold ribbon on the top of a gift. This metal finish makes the border pop and adds that extra bit of sparkle to all of the stars.

I'm wear this skirt in a 2XL and I've actually found this fabric a lot more firm/stiff than the Jennie. They are both the traditional 50's style but this version has no belt loops or contrasting belt. I've paired my nutcracker skirt with the same MAK sweater but added a deeper red hair flower and a bold black and silver buckled belt.

Many thanks to Liz for making a little Christmas hit us in an Aussie spring!
