Skeletons on Parade

Sourpuss have done it once again and blown my socks off! With amazing cardigans, super funky prints, the best accessories and my first ever battle jacket. Mixing all things spooky with some retro 3D realness and a bold green zebra print.

Skater dress are a curvy girls dream. They fit and flare out over your hips and really highlight all your best bits. The Sourpuss skaters are super stretchy, soft and just a joy to wear, so once you get one you'll be back ordering each and every print.

I'm wearing the vintage Halloween mask printed skater in a size 2XL and the fit is spot on. It stretches to fit your curves and really compliments the small of your waist.

The long sleeves and amazingly detailed print make this one of my all time favourite skaters and I need to snap up a spooky kitty print very soon. However if you are busty you can split the print a little on the bust. Because of the white back on the fabric any stretch can lighten that specific area. I wear a black bra beneath to help with that so order your true size so you don't run into this issue. If the bust section was lined it would fix this issue for the super busty girls out there.

Another amazing cropped SP cardigan to add to my collection! I feel in love with the retro X-ray glasses pin last year and wear it on my moto constantly. So when I noticed that they had embroided my favourite pin on a soft cotton cardigan I nearly lost my mind.

You can do no wrong with a Sourpuss cardigan. They are the perfect medium weight for all year round wear and look amazing when paired with pretty much anything. They fit true to size and have enough stretch so you can wear them buttoned up or left open. What I love about this X-Ray cardigan other than those embroided glasses has to be the bold red buttons. They add the perfect extra pop of colour and really stand out.

I'm wearing the 2XL and the fit is great due to the super stretchy fabric.

When you have an X-ray cardigan you have to snap up the same image printed all over a dress yes? This dress is so very out of my comfort zone and I will admit I wasn't sure I could really rock this until the moment I tried it on.
Made from an almost scuba fabric this skater style is figure flattering and really unique. The black mesh panel really pops and shoes just the right amount of skin. Pair this piece with the matching cardigan or wear it on it's own.

The 2XL is actually a little roomy in this style so I'd be keen to try an XL and see if the fit is better.

Stripes and skeletons - oh my!

The dancing skeletons is scoop dress is a summer favourite with the bold nautical stripe and flowing skeley skirt. No need for waist belts or accessories as this dress is a little stunner all on it's own. The fit on this dress is actually firm but really accommodating as two completely different fabrics combine to create this one look.

The top half is a stretchy soft cotton and the skirt a super lightweight polyester. This makes it perfect for hot Aussie summers. Again another great 2XL fit. I was worried that the stripe might add bulk to my frame but I think the scoop neck breaks that up.

This style is such a joy to wear and I'd love to see other colour stripes in later collections. I'd wear these all summer long in green or red stripes!

I've owned many cropped cardigans, jumpers and moto jackets but I've oddly enough never purchased a vest. I've always worried I'd look to bulky or broad but with the SP Essential vest all of those fears disappeared. This vest is very lightweight so it does not square up your torso and due to the copious amounts of stretch it hugs your curves.

As you can see this style hits me right at the waist and it really does create that perfect hour glass shape. I can't wait to add a back patch and lots of pins. The green zebra print takes me straight back to my Psychobilly days and I think I may need this in purple and leopard.

You can pair this piece with tees, tank, crops and scoop necked blouses. It also looks great with layered with skater or swing dresses in solid black or complimentary prints.

What do you pair your vest with? ALL THE PINS! Switchblades and kreepy mottos from Kustom Kreeps which is actually the male section of Sourpuss - I adore their raglans and pins as they are unisex.

Then a few pieces from the mainline - Classy and Trashy because lets face it that's me to a Tee and a cute little bat boon pin. It's clear now that I must order ever single pin and vest from Sourpuss and live in them. I'm such a sucker for a bright cheeky enamel pin.
