Pin Me Up - Sourpuss

As you all know I'm pin crazy and I have multiple jackets with different themes just so I can use every single pin in my collection. for this post I've had a little enamel pin shopping spree at Sourpuss Clothing as they have affordable and brilliant themes and styles.

SOURPUSS HEARSE PIN - $6.00
SOURPUSS X-RAY SPECS PIN - $6.00
SOURPUSS CANDY HEARTS ENAMEL PIN - $6.00
DUMB JUNK THE WORST ENAMEL PIN - $6.00
DUMB JUNK SHRUNKEN HEAD PIN - $6.00

From retro film and sci-fi themes to horror, insults and much more, Sourpuss have created what are my absolute new favourite pins. Strong and firmly fitting - I hate a loose or badly secured pin - with black rubber backings and super bight colour combinations.

Each pin is a great size for grouping as I love to wear all of them at once and as you can see these easily cover one lapel so I have another side for fill when more SP pins are released. Whiles these are secured with the black rubber backs I've swapped them over to metal closures as I find they last longer and tend not to pop. It's a personal preference and I purchase all of my metal pin back from Ebay in bult lots.

The colour combinations when worn together rock and I love how the candy hearts pack an extra cheeky punch with huge insult upon closer inspection.

For this shoot I wanted to add a little more pattern and colour so I've paired these with a red plain moto that I snapped up from Target a few years back and my Wax Poet Trick or Treat tee.

This vintage style print is adorable and I'm super smitten with the web, orange flower and text combo. It's that little bit of Halloween  flare you can wear every day. I'm wearing the XL and it fits my bust with ease. The length is perfect when paired with high waisted skirts of pants and it's such a cute year round casual piece. It's always Halloween in my wardrobe and I'll be wearing this long into summer as the fabric is light and so comfortable.

I honestly can't choose just one of these as my outright favourite so I've added  them all into rotation and as a new bulk lot of creep and colour to my current leather jacket. Now what to add next?

Many thanks to my awesome husband for snapping these in the middle of a rain shower. Rain, hail or shine, we are out there snapping away.

  1. Sourpuss changes the look of a monotonous jacket into a trendy look. Are these sourpuss laminated or they are fabricated..?? Are they washing safe..!!

    1. They are enamel pins so they will rust if you pop them in the washing. But they are sturdy and brilliant. I have a themed jacket for each of my sets of pins and I'm addicted to motos. I happen to love plaid jackets though.
