The Lisa Dress

What's this? Another Pinup Girl Clothing review so soon? Well the Lisa Dress has finally returned to the Pinup Girl Website and I'm so excited to be sharing these images and this review with you guys.

From the moment this amazing Art Deco wiggle dress was previewed I was crushing hard. The chevron overlay with a high scoop neckline and a sweetheart almost deep v neckline peeking out beneath create a sophisticated yet sexy shape and flatters both small and large bustlines. The fabric is a soft knit but there is limited stretch and due to the wiggle shape I opted to go up to as size 2XL for a perfect fit. The XL measurements were perfect for me but I know that sometimes non stretch items and wiggles can be a little less forgiving on my figure and if you are right on the larger end of the measurements I highly suggest sizing up.

This dress was created to hug your curves and create bold and amazing shape.  My absolute favourite feature of this dress has to be the sleeves and the volume and shape they produce. Usually I'm slightly wary of sheer fabrics on my upper arms but this sleeve style and the pattern are really slimming and I feel absolutely amazing in this dress. With such a bold fabric and shape you won't need add much more to this look and I love wearing this with all black accessories and a little sparkle from a pair of earrings. While this style comes with a matching thin fabric belt I opted for my Deadly Dames faux leather buckle belt as I like a thicker more defined belt when wearing wiggle dresses.
With the sheerness at the bust also be mindful of what bra or foundation garments you choose place beneath as it might show through. I opted for a black bodysuit form of shapewear and a plunge Freya Deco.
The Lisa Dress is also available in a blouse and looks absolutely amazing with the Doris pants as I modeled this combo while shooting with Pinup Girl Clothing on my recent trip.
If there is one absolutely stunning little black dress you need this season the Lisa is it and everyone needs a little art deco styling in their life.
