Simply Tops!

In Australia we use the term 'Tops' as a slang way to describe something being great or brilliant and that's how I'm feeling about the AW16 trends from Simply Be. More specifically I'm smitten with the selection of going out tops that's hit the website this season. As we hit spring downunder the UK sneaks into the cooler months of the year and we almost have a mixture of styles that suit both climates, this tends to happen with Aussie Autumn and Spring and I love that I can shop these style year round.

Casually I'm all about black. It's my uniform and the shade I find myself constantly gravitating to so I wanted to share my current lust list from Simply Be as they have so many rock chick worthy style that make my heart sing.

I have been hunting for this exact style top for the last few months so I'm super excited to see that Simply Be have created a curve loving version of it. I've become a huge fan of off the shoulder tops and I specifically wanted this style to pair with disco pants and high waisted black jeans. Essentially creating the look that Sandy wears at the end of Grease. Pair with a pair of killer red mules and a red neck scarf and I've got it!

Everybody needs a scoop neck 3/4 sleeve top in their collection but this is a better option for those who love to tuck into all high waisted skirts and pants. The Scoop Neck Body offers a comfortable way to tuck and it won't budge. You won't need to worry about visible lines under your pencil skirt or through your jeans as the bodysuit was made to pair with both of these styles. I find bodysuits at perfect with swing and pencil skirts and they also offer an extra element of shaping.

Off the shoulder and a bodysuit? Shut up and take my money!!!! I'm absolutely smitten with this ruffled little number and need it for summer. The simple ruffle and shape pair perfectly with all casual skirts and jeans and when paired with a little leather skirt or full pinup swing style this bodysuit absolutely shines. Get it fast as this is selling like hotcakes and I hope I don't miss my chance to get this.

Lastly we have my 70's gothic dreams combined in this super cute and sheer lace number. This season lace returns and it's time to bare some skin and take risks. Pair this lace top with a slinky little black tank dress, a bustier or even a cage bra. My favourite features have to be the fluted sleeves and peplum waist.

Now to transfer these babies from my lust list into my shopping cart and style like crazy!
