I have rather long hair to begin with but every now and then I want longer and more fuller locks. So after finding searching through all the products on the Irresistible Me website I found the Silky Touch range and from one promotional image I knew these were perfect for me!
With my hair as long as it is I thought I'd go for as much hair as possible so I ordered the Silly Touch in Ginger at 24 inches and in 200 grams. My thought process is that you can't go wrong with too much hair and I can use as much or as little with eat wear. This set contains : 200 g sets (10 pieces) - 1 pc of 4 clips (7.5"), 2 pcs of 3 clips (6"), 5 pcs of 2 clips (4"), 2 pcs of 1 clip (1.2").
My extensions arrived in and adorable little box, perfectly presented and zip locked into a protective pouch. Now I chose a colour a little lighter than my own so I could colour match to my own deep red shade. The original shade was not that different but to get the perfect match I hand dyed these as I would my own hair. I have to say there is nothing more strange than paining human hair unattached from an actual head!! But the process was easy and fast and in now time I had the perfect colour to start playing with.

As I had a photo shoot the next day I prepped the new extensions rather simply as I wanted them to look as natural as possible. Clipping these in was much easier than I expected and the website has heaps of video tutorials to help guide you through the process.
I clipped all individual pieces into my own hair and then started curling! Because I did not get a chance to layer these, only due to time restrictions. I opted to curl both my own hair and the extensions to they would work into each other without any visible lines between my own hair and the clip in sections. I wasn't after a ringlet but more of a wave and a little bounce to the hair itself.
The results are amazing!! The style seamlessly melds with my own locks and I just adore the look they create. I'm way too impatient to grow my hair this long so this is a great option to have for both shoots and every day wear. As you can see the length is perfect and my natural hair ends at my shoulder blades so it adds so much more!
These stunning extensions are able to be dyed, washed and heat treated as you would do with your own hair. So I'm super excited to try more styles, both up dos and more pinup styling but that's going to take a little more practice and lots of Youtube videos.
