A little while ago, I had the absolute pleasure of working with one of Canada's finest pinup photographers Shimona Henry of Pin-up Perfection Photography. I was super excited to work with such a Pin-up genius so I quickly booked my favourite retro location - Bobby McGee's - and packed a suitcase filled with stunning dresses, corsets, heels and, the most important part, lots of lingerie! I could shoot in this location a million times and still find stunning spots and different angles. I'm secretly wishing someone books this place for a party and invites me.
DITA VON TEESE Leopard Tulip Girdle - $32.99
Kixies 'Lois' Stockings - $22.00
The Leopard Tulip bra from Dita's Von Follies range is a work of art! This stunning silk underwire demi bra is slightly padded, beautifully constructed and features scalloped edge detailing. I'm wearing a 16E and even though I'm a 34GG I fit into this! It's not a full coverage styling but it's a stunningly sexy peekaboo style great for hiding beneath sheer shirts and for the bedroom. I feel absolutely amazing in this bra but for a full day's wear I'd need a little more support. I've found that for shooting and showing off under sheer and low cut tops I can fit snugly into most of the F or E cup bra's from Dita's range. I'm 100% addicted to my Madame X cage bra and I'm cursing that I missed my chance to get any of the other colours. Fingers crossed they make a comeback in a future season.
This style has a matching thong and suspender belt but I had to get my hands on open bottom girdle. Just like the Tulip Bra the detailing on this girdle is perfection - a mixture of both black and printed silk and the most delicate of black lace. It's an amazing fit in a size 16 with just the right amount of stretch and firmness to hold you in.
This set pairs perfectly with my go to under bust from Orchard Corset in leather. This style is so comfortable and molds perfectly to my hourglass shape. The leather is super soft and I wear this both under and over outfits.

Next I'd like to welcome my 9th Freya Deco to my collection. If you've not realized yet I'm so very addicted to this style as it's a perfect fit on my bust and creates the most amazing shape. I've had a dot print in the Deco before but I've always wanted a white on black version and to my surprise and delight it was released!
This might be my favourite out of all of the prints as I'm a sucker for polka dot prints and this is that cute I'll be sneaking it under sheer shirts as well. The fabric is soft an silky and a dream to wear and I can't get enough of the shortie style underwear. If shorts are not your style you can also find a brief and a thong and I'll be picking these up asap. They are the most comfortable underwear I've ever worn and I want to get my hands on as many pairs as possible.
With both sets I went for black accessories, corsets and cover-ups so the prints of the lingerie would really have a chance to shine. I love how my Secrets in Lace Hollywood Pleated Top works with both fabrics and I had to include my all time favourite stockings from Kixies. I've got a huge lust for Kixies Lois back seam stockings and love that the NEVER ever fall down. If you've not discovered Kixies yet you have to pick up a few pairs and become fully addicted like me.
