Going Batty

A full blown spooky month calls for more than just Halloween themed looks each and every day! Why not mix a little spooky into your lingerie collection?

I have been lusting after the absolutely stunning robes that Western Evil released this year! 3 Divine full length robes covered in bats, with contrasting feather detailing and billowing sleeves. From the moment I saw these I was instantly in love.

Cover me in bats, PVC and delicate lace for the rest of my life and I'll be a happy girl! Western Evil have been on my radar for many years and I have a growing collection of serial killer tees and dresses from their phenomenal range. An independent US based company with a love of horror, serial killers and amazing music.

This spooky season I've been lucky enough to style 2 of their stunning plus size robes. Now these are available 2 sizes. Standard fit and Plus Size. I'm wearing this in the plus size and my size tends to be 2XL/3XL in this brand for dresses and XL for their raglans and tees. The Plus version of this absolutely lush full length robe is perfection. It's super roomy, to he point where I think I might even be able to wear  the standard fit in this one as they is heaps of room at the waist and bust.

This sheer fabric and flocked bat print is pure magic! I want to parade around the city streets at dusk dressed exactly like this! These robes are the perfect mix of sultry gothic styling and burlesque and I adore both so very much.

Now standard lingerie was not good enough to pair with these robes! So I headed to Ewa Michalak and ordered two set's match each robe. For the classic black robe I went for my obsession the PLM Bra in Blue Bella. This fit is always insanely good! Super supportive, comfortable and the cross over back (can be worn both ways) makes for a stunning shape and deep plunge.

I'm wearing this bra in the 100G as per usual and it's the best fit I've ever worn. The scalloped edges in delicate black lace over a power blue stretchy cup also make the most divine pattern. This paired with the dark and spooky bat print equal perfection. For the bottoms I'm wearing their size 18 and they are super cute, high waisted and so comfy!

Now lets go full pastel goth!!! Pale pink and purple, full length and fluffy! Oh my gosh this is adorable! I never thought I'd be as smitten with a pastel piece but I'm absolutely in love with this robe!

The perfect mix of spooky and cute, fits like a dream (exactly the same as the black) and really pops when paired with darker lingerie.

For this pastel look I wanted a dark purple lace set to contrast against the softer shades. So I opted for the Fiolento BM Bra  and matching cheeky briefs. The darker shade and the stunningly intricate lace pattern are the perfect combo!

I've paired both looks with a navy blue Orchard Corset longline underline corset as well I wanted a colour to melt into the look and not be too different from the full colour pallet. The final results are amazing, I never knew this shade of dark blue could be so versatile.

While where here let's just take a moment to drool over these sleeves! The glamour, the grandeur! Ahhhh I'm so in love!! You will be swishing and swinging your self around constantly when wearing these robes. You can't help yourself!

Which looks is your favourtie? Are you looking for a full classic gothic robe or does the pastel sweetness appeal to your styling. Don't forget there is also a blood red version of this robe so you can collect all 3.
