This week I'm showing off some of the cutest must have pieces from my loves at Heart of Haute. I've been working with and modeling their garments for so very long now and not matter what size fluctuations I might have their garments always compliment my figure and fit like a dream.
Now for this post I'm wearing everything in a size 2XL. Some items are a little more loose than others so I'll give my honest opinion of fit and if you need to size down etc.
I'd never really given royal blue a chance when I had red hair. I was never 100% sure how to stay any blue shade so I avoided it mostly. But when I saw the boobalisious Aimee dress in this most divine blue shade ever I obviously had to have it.
Created with curves in mind this fit and flare style is soft, comfy and hugs all your curves. The a-line skirt skims over my hips while the waist and bust really hug me in all of the right places. The soft stretchy cotton knit is an absolutely joy to wear as it's super light.
The stretch of this fabric means there is no need for zippers as you just simply pull the Aimee over your head and then cinch your waist with the matching tie belt.
If you're looking for some super cute extra layers for the cooler months or general cover us you honestly can't go past the Sweet Sweater. It's a layering essential and the most flattering cardigan you'll ever own.
I've been OBSESSED with this style for years now and own it in each and every colour way. The new Kelly Green, however, is a different shade to my OG green so I wanted to pair it with the bold blue beneath.
As it's a tie front cardigan, you can wear this as tight or as loose as you need.
I can't believe I did not pair this all black look with a beret! The mod/beatnik vibes from this whole look would have been perfect!
When I first discovered HOH many moons ago one of the first dresses I reviewed was the navy Spy Dress. I then added a black version to my collection and wore these with tights, gloves and all the winter trimmings.
I've always loved the fit and feel of this piece and have finally got my mitts on the top version. A classic 60's vibe with half sleeves, a bold neckline and that retro fit perfection. Now I figured out pretty fast during this shoot/review that a 2XL in all tops from Heart of Haute is way too big for me. Usually, I order a 2XL and fit that one area is perfect and another too large. But for this and the following top this is one size too big in all places.
But the Spy top is an new wardrobe staple! Classic fit, classic shape and pairs perfectly with everything from capris, jeans, swing or wiggle skirts. I've paired this piece with my cigarette pants, and you can wear it tucked in or left out as it's a great length.
Oh my gosh I'm absolutely smitten with the Denise top! With a mock neck and half sleeves this is one of the most versatile and adorable tops I've ever owned. The Spy top has a more look and relaxed neckline while this mock style is super up my alley.
Don't listen to what anyone states about busty girls should not wear high necklines. Most of the time when done correctly they can be super flattering and give amazing shape.
Made from a stretchy jersey knit this piece is figure flattering, soft and really, really comfy. Both of these tops feel as soft as your favourite PJ's and isn't that what we adore from our clothing?
Lastly, I finally have my favourite Kittees print in a baseball top! I'm absolute addicted to all things baseball/raglan style top wise so from the moment this piece was previewed my hands were already in grabby mode.
The best print, brilliant colour combo and that perfect fit as all styles in this range provide. I'm wearing the 2XL in this style, and it's a relaxed and comfy fit. I find that I go between 2XL and XL for most of my baseball tops depending on what I'm pairing them with ETC.
