More Lace, More Brastop!

Last Friday we went back into a snap lockdown and my planned shoot for some of the most divine lingerie sets from Brastop had to be moved into our home studio. I scrambled at first wondering what to create with limited space but with each and every piece being so fab I knew they'd shine through no matter what.

Now this review is based around all things Curvy Kate as I'm forever lusting after both both the CK label and Scantilly. Now for these sets I've opted for now corset as I want to show them all in their full glory.

Blackcraft Kimono

Whenever I see lingerie in faux leather or PVC I'm instantly in LUST! The shine, the fit and the wow factor win me over each and every time.

When the latest release in the ever so popular plunge category is the amazing new Lucky Star set and bodysuit. I honestly wanted both but the suit is completely new to me so I opted to try this first. IF you are interested in the plunge bra itself click here

I'm wearing this suit in a 38HH and the fit is amazing. It hugs my curves, hides my tummy line and really looks and feels phenomenal. I went up a back size for comfort recently but it seems some cups are now a little roomy so I think if I wanted the stand alone bra I'd go for a 38H for a more filled fit.

Now I own the Sparks Fly and the fit is exactly the same in the bra area. The comfort level for this piece is out of this world and the high cut bottom makes for an adorable rear view.

I've paired this stunning bodysuit with my new Killstar harness as I wanted to make this into a super strong look. I love how perfectly this piece works with the changes and faux leather straps.

When the Fallen Angel bra was released last year in classic black I completely missed out and I've been dying to wiggle my way into it for months. Luckily a restock popped up this year and we were introduced to another colour way - red!!!

I've honestly been wanting this set so badly as it's a dream come true. So much detail and quality construction in one piece.

What stands out about this amazing piece are the red tipped feathers. Each beautifully frames your breast and makes such a bold effect.

The rich ruby red statin in a half cup design gives your bust fantastic shape and support from the vertically seamed structure. Sheer mesh and tulle is adorned with wing embroidery, meeting a sultry satin sling to the outer edge of the cup. It's so stunning!

You might have also noticed that little bit of lace popping through on my upper thigh! This little red lace wonder is the answer to all your thigh chafing prayers! I'll be doing a full feature next week on these but be sure to check out Bandelettes ASAP!

I'm wearing this style in a 38H. At first I thought the fit might be way too big in the cup but once I adjusted the straps and used the bend and scoop method the fit was perfection.

For the brief I'm wearing an XL and the fit is firm but super comfortable plus the pattern is really flattering on all body shapes.

This set is so dreamy and I can't wait to pair it with my latest Vixen wrap dress in dark red. The detailing will show and look amazing.

Now for something a little more day to day friendly and absolutely amazing fit wise. The Moody Bloom balcony bra is an absolute stunner with a dark black and purple based floral print. The pairing of this dark blossom and sheer black panels really makes this print pop.

The balcony bra features our Upfront Technology and has a lower laminate cup that gives a great lift and projection, while the contrasting delicate lace of the top cup is lightweight and supportive.

That attention to detail makes this piece an absolute joy to wear and the shape is perfectly round!

Fit wise I'm wearing the 38J as I was advised to size up on this specific style and I'm so glad I did. The J cup fits in such a way that I'd never want to wear anything else.

Style wise I've paired this set with a bold polkadot robe and I love the clash of patterns! Now I'm on the hunt for any other prints/colours of this exact style and I'm smitten.
