VANITY FLAIR

Tomorrow the stunning retro inspired Vanity Flair collection from Blackmilk Clothing officially goes live! So to help you with all of your sizing and fit questions I've shot and reviewed my absolute favourite's from this collection.

The is something very magical about this print by William Morris this amazing fabric tells the cheeky story of birds stealing fruit from his garden. How adorable is it?

Now this is my 3rd dress in this style and I absolutely adore the floaty sleeves, skirt length and lined bodice and skirt. It's the perfect summer weight style and effortless to wear. The fit of the bodice really works on curves and the flowing skirt just skims over your hips with any fuss - so flattering.

I'm such a fan of this style but I tend to have issues with the sleeves staying in place. I've got rather broad/rounded shoulders and these elasticated styles tend to fall down a lot on me. If anyone has any tricks to keep them in lace other than Hollywood tape please comment.

Fit wise I went with an XL on all pieces and unless super oversized or more stretch than usual I tend to stick to this size. Blackmilk has added an XXL size and up to 20AU to their range as well which is super exciting.

From the moment the look book was revealed I knew that this adorable bee print needed to be mine. I'm a sucker for an insect themed print and this gold on black print is perfection.

Light reflecting, sheer in all the right places and the sleeve detailing make this my favourite style yet. Now this style fits exactly like the Sheer Romance dress that I'm obsessed with but with the extra bow detailing at the cuffs.

Such a flattering shape for curvy, busty or plus size girls as the neckline flatters and the length is perfect! I'll be wearing this all year round as it will pair with winters styling as well as summer.

The Noveau tie the knot dress I was originally on the fence about but as I love the print I gave in and ordered. I'm forever a fan of Art Deco prints and this floral instantly won my heart. So unique and bold for a midi style dress.

Now the neckline and bust are really versatile. You can adjust the straps to wear them longer or shorter or go completely strapless but hiding them within the bodice.

I've opted to go with a shorter style tie up and it's such comfy but not as figure flattering as most other styles. The perfect dress to wear out to brunch or shopping the day asway as it's so comfy!!

Now that I have this kimono tie top in my collection I must have every print, every version ever created!! After falling in love with my Blackmilk playsuit at Xmas I knew that a top form of the pattern would be perfect for me.

The Grandma's couch print screams summer to me and the fit is unbelievable. Stretchy and light, perfect for barmy summer nights out when paired with a mini or high waisted jeans.

Honesty this top fits like a dream and I can't get enough of it. So you'll be seeing me wearing this constantly on IG!

Last be definitely not least the new leopard print claws out velvet flares. I've desided as I age gracefully I'm inspired more and more by the 70's for comfort levels so a funky pair of flares is a must have.

In what is now becoming my weekend uniform I've gone for a horror themed raglan and these lush leopard print pants. Super high waist, super stretchy (can easily size down) and figure flattering to an extreme.

Just look at that they do for my rump? I'm obsessed!

I've paired these with a super chunky high platform to show off the flare but most days you'll see me in a wedge of funky flat.

You can buy all of these pieces at 7am Brisbane Time tomorrow, 2nd of February.
